  1. In the mews app, show the product items that are within the system so that housekeeping knows what to add, a bottle of champagne for example.

    It would be even greater if we would have a setting per product to what we would like to show in the app. Breakfast for example would not be relevant to housekeeping.

  2. Looking for an integrated report for Deposit Ledgers which includes the following information:-
    1. Guest Name
    2. Reservation ID
    3. Arrival Date
    4. Departure Date
    5. Room No.
    6. Reservation Type
    7. Status (Reserved/Cancelled)
    8. Last Paid On
    9. Deposit Balance.

    As currently, we need to check deposits from Accounting Ledger from guest detailed information from Reservation Report, It is difficult to check manually for each guest. Kindly assist with this report.

  3. Be able to restrict access to the price of the service for each additional service when the "Order only with products" option is ticked. For the moment, either all prices can be changed (Service and Products), or none. But when the receptionist adds a product and also adds an amount to the price of the service by mistake, it may create a billing issue, and so an accounting issue.

  4. Would be good to have possibility to send more personalised mails. For example, we organise a lot of pop up events (BBQ in summer, concerts, ...). People need to subscribe in advance.

    Would be great to be able to send these kind of mails from MEWS.
    What's differente compared to actual MEWS mail templates?
    - content is different every month
    - we should be able to choose ourselves when we do want to send this mail and when not (for example if we organise a BBQ next sunday, it should not be send to any other guests than those staying…

  6. When booking a reservation for a guest who will have several room moves during their stay, I would like the ability to link these reservations so it does not appear as if the guest is leaving and arriving when they are only changing rooms.

    • If two reservations within a guests dashboard are linked and the consecutive reservation is within a 24 hour period then
    • Don't count guest as departing
    • Don't count guest as arriving
    • Count guest as stay over

    This is important for departments like the front desk, but also effect the guest in terms of confirmation emails. Otherwise the…

  7. When I am doing my audit, I am auditing by the department.

    It would be very helpful to have the ability to filter the Payment Report by Department, such that I can audit specific sets of credit card receipts, cash transactions, etc.

  8. It would be very helpful for us if it was possible for managers to display the prices for a price query / new booking despite rate restrictions (for example MLOS).

  9. When adding a product, it is automatically added to all booking engines. However, we offer different products in different booking engines (for example for certain events or retreats). Please enable to add or delete products to certain booking engines or to restrict products from other booking engines or rates.

  13. it is not always easy to find access to input calendar events. is there a way you are able to add it to the drop down menu for either rates or reservations, or even timeline.
    the only way i find it now is through burger menu, settings, services and then click back at the top left corner on the name of the property. seems a bit weird.

    plus it would be great if their could be a note field so that reservations know what rate, minimum stay, etc should be offered on those days

  16. For me Mews is all about cutting the extra manual work and automatize as much as possible. Having this in mind and that on a daily basis we use Mews Commander religiously so the FO and the HSK team know which rooms are cleaned it would be amazing to understand without having to manually insert the staff names on the status report who is cleaning which rooms and how long they take.

    Mews already stores all the information we need just does not have a way to push the data for analises.

  18. the monthly timeline is already a lot better to deal with long-stay enquiries, however, we have just oversold our property due to the fact that a short stay was not showing up on the monthly time line. we thought we had the full three months available when we didn't.
    this is of course not acceptable meaning we are not able to use the monthly view.
    may i suggest perhaps a weekly view? or just make the fields smaller (half or quarter their current width).
