  2. We’d like you to review the check-in process for groups.

    • When we send the check-in online e-mail, only the owner receives the e-mail. This is not smooth for large groups. The solution might be to have a link or be able to send the online check-in e-mail to multiple addresses at the same time.

    • When we choose to upload a file, we find these problems:

      • If the customer is Spanish, there is no field to add the second last name or the ID support number
      • There is no field to add addresses

    So there is no valid process to finish…

  3. When someone books more than one room online (no matter form which channel) it would be great if mews can merge the reservations together as a group to have a more clear overview that it is several rooms booked.

  4. When the bill is closed with a deposit, it clearly states on the bill that there is a deposit in a separate segment of the bill.
    However, the problem is when the bill gets reissued. The deposit item is no longer in seperate segment.

    As it is now registered as an "additional" expense item, it now gets only put under the top part of the bill under the stay package.

    The clearer way would be to keep it in a separate segment (Similar to how we bring back payments on original bills)

  5. Why does Mews changes things for no reason? where is the back button on reservation gone? when I do my reservations checks, once I'm finished, I had to click back 5-6 times before it takes me back to the reservation report. Also, not impressed with new reservation report - you seem to have to re-enter all the filters every time you try to go back to original reservations list!

  6. There used to be an arrow to go from the guest profile back to whatever page you were working on. Now the arrow is only there when you manage a reservation, but not for the guest profiles. Please bring it back!

  8. Description
    When adjusting a reservation’s arrival or departure date or time, the existing room lock is currently removed. This creates a risk that the lock is forgotten and the room is unintentionally reassigned, which leads to operational issues for the front desk and reservations teams.

    Feature request
    Please ensure that when arrival or departure dates or times are changed, the existing room lock on the space is retained automatically. This would remove the need for staff to manually remember to reapply the lock and reduce errors in daily operations.

  9. Being able to bulk update reservations in the future when a price of a product changed. When a price of a product change we have to cancel the product reservation by reservation and add it again. It's not convenient at all. It would be nice to be able to update lot's of reservations at the same time.

  12. Currently, the cancellation tag in the MEWS booking engine is not flexible enough.

    The logic is fixed on the system side:

    Cancellation on the day of arrival = automatically 2:00 p.m. or defined check-in time.

    Cancellation X days before arrival = automatically 12:00 a.m.

    Individual cancellation times cannot be displayed. Rates such as “cancellable until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival” or “14 days before arrival until 2:00 p.m.” cannot be displayed correctly.

    A manual adjustment of the time per rate in the cancellation tag would be necessary in order to display the cancellation conditions correctly and transparently.

    Can we please implement a log for user management actions?

  14. Currently, Mews does not allow users to transfer space categories to different bookable services; instead, users have to be manually recreated in the new service. It would be beneficial and useful if we could create a transfer process (Rates, Products included)

  16. I’m missing a proper script for check-in at the reception, which would make the process more structured and consistent, while ensuring that important steps are not overlooked.

    I imagine a button such as “Auto Check-In”, which would clearly guide the staff through the following steps:

    Settle or verify the guest folio if not already done

    Check and acknowledge the guest’s loyalty membership status, or invite them to join the program

    Offer upselling or room upgrades

    Generate the key

    Confirm check-in completion

  17. It would be helpful to have a view-only access to the rates and rategroups in the settings so that employees, who are not admins in Mews, can see the conditions and policies of all rates.

    Alternatively, it would be a big help to be able to see the rate description on the reservation when hovering over the rate with the mouse. Right now, if you are not an admin in Mews, you are not able to find or see the rate descriptions of for example OTA bookings, which is impacting our daily operations. This add on would be a great…

  18. Have the possibility to create a copy of an existing block reservation and just change the dates, booker, room types, price, room amount if needed. If the same company has a series of blocks we can just make a copy of the first block and change the details

  19. It would be nice to be able to quickly switch the context (bookable service) from the timeline view. Often we need to quickly look up something from the timeline in another service (parking or conference room). Currently it is necessary to go to the dashboard, switch to the other service, and then access the timeline again.

  20. Nous sommes une pourvoirie et nos locations sont pour des chalets, des terrains de camping, des tentes prêt-à-camper et des embarcations nautiques. Le problème est qu'il n'y a pas de "catégorie d'espace" pour les embarcations nautiques, il y en a une seulement pour les vélo. Même chose pour nos chalets ou il n'y a pas ce choix.
