Restrict Front Desk Team from overriding rates
Restrict front desk team from overriding rates when making booking. Currently MEWS doesn't provide rate check report to see how much rate difference we are getting from staff making manual bookings. It is crucial for revenue managers to keep this under control in order to maintain the rates. Ideally I think front desk should not have the rights to override any rates.

Guest Expense allocation
Use case: During his stay, the guest has the possibility to use 100€ per day for any F&B expenses. Possibility for the POS to post expenses that can be absorbed in the price at the moment of consumption. Unused Expense Allocation cannot be refunded or used on another day.

Having the bill number set up by year and month :

closed company bills (with payments) are now totally invisible in the reservation. It would be nice if a billing and payment button is also visible in the reservation on the status page, as it is for the guests.

Add header filters in reports (alphabetical & amount)
To be able to click on each columns of the reservation report and to have the possibility to filter all the info by ascending order for example. If they are trying to find which customer paid his reservation the most expensive they would like to click on rate and to filter it.

Rate split tooltip in NNRS
Right now, it is only possible to check rate totals when creating a new reservation. Even then, the total price is shown based only on the currently selected rate for stay and products added. A rate query tool would be a great option to help clarify and check prices, availability, and restrictions that may apply to different rates, with or without certain products. This additional functionality could also help revenue, sales, and marketing departments to save time and streamline their efforts.

Tier-based coloration of the loyalty icon
To enhance the visibility and usability of the loyalty program interface by introducing tier-based color differentiation for the loyalty icon. This change aims to improve user experience for both guests and staff by making member status instantly recognizable. This would help the staff members to quickly identify loyalty tier during check-in or service interactions, members would feel more recognized and valued.

Cancel bookable service together with room reservation
Besides the stay service we work with parking and bicycles. For example if the guests books a room including car park, the parking spot will be added as a "parking" service and gets assigned a unique reservation number.
The problem that occurs now is that the room and parking are not linked together; meaning that when the room gets cancelled or amended, the parking spot will stay as it is and will need to be cancelled or amended manually.
We are looking for a way to link the two types of spaces together.

Labelling of guests
It would be great if we could label the bookings individually and make sure that this is everywhere visible.
Example: Speakers from the seminar
We make do with the top management classification in the guest profile, but even this is not obvious everywhere.
I expect to see this information in the booking overview of a group, for example, without having to expand the reservation. And it must be visible in the timeline.
In addition, this is a classification that does not belong to the guest profile, but to the individual room reservation. After all, the speaker could arrive later as…13 votes -

For example, create Villa 1 with (101 as the parent) and 102, 103 and 104 as the children, but we also want to create Villa 1 connector (with 101 as the parent and only 102 as the connecting suite).

Separate housekeeping permissions for marking rooms as clean or checked
We would love to have a different role options for our housekeeping so that only the houskeeping manager can "check" a room. Everyone else should just be able to put the room to "clean".
That is not yet possible.

Option to sort (separate) bills in the 'billing' tab on date
For travel agencies and company guests with routing rules, it is very difficult to quickly identify the date of the reservation . It would be much more useful and convenient if we could have the arrival date displayed at the top of the bill. so there is no need to click on each booking to see the specific date.

Automate Notes in Reservations
Implement a feature to automatically generate a note in a reservation when a specific rate code or company is booked. Currently, notes need to be entered manually. An automated note would be useful for including specific instructions about payment, allocation, and any other important information for the front office. This enhancement would ensure consistency and efficiency in handling reservations.
