With this feature, the Travel agency will be automatically updated depending on the rate chosen.

Make a reservation with zero occupants
It would be very practical to be able to make a reservation without having to specify the occupants. For example, for company seminars where some rooms remain unoccupied despite the hotel being privatised, we are obliged to add at least one adult to the booking, even if the room is empty. This complicates management and does not reflect reality.

Ability to send pro forma invoice or invoice with % deposit to secure booking
We are trying to set up our group accommodation billing. We would like to be able to send a proforma invoice or invoice, which shows a 25% deposit due to secure the booking.
At the moment Mews does not offer the possibility to issue an invoice for a percentage of the amount, and i think this would be really useful to develop12 votes -
Online gift vouchers
It would be nice to offer our guests an ability to buy a Gift Voucher for our hotels online versus it being a manual process. We previously used Webrezpro, and their system allowed this. Now we have to go back to paper and manual gift certificates.

create a function to allow a rooming list o be uploaded
Booker sends in a rooming list - this should be able to be uploaded to the block so each room is picked up and a reservation is made to the correct room type
Also to be able to pull rooming list in a nice format with our exporting unnecessary information. Wedding are always asking for a list of names and dates of who booked in their group

Possibility to merge two companies together, where each of the companies have a Travel Agency Contract attached
At the moment, it is not possible to merge two companies together where both of the companies have a Travel Agency Contract attached.
It would be great to allow this merge without having to remove the TA contract first.

Kiosk Extras
In my opinion, the kiosk is not fully thought through. If it is to have the benefit of allowing guests to check themselves in and out, the following must also be possible:
- Minibar products must be bookable by the guest independently
- It must be possible to enter the company address when checking out.

rate changes by changing date
if you want to extent a made booking, the price will automaticaly change. Also if you have fixed rates for a customer group, it changes to the daily rate, which is extremely wrong and not helpful.

Customize quotation settings for optional bookings
For confirmed bookings we can set up a default send/do not send for confirmations. Quotations for optional bookings are currently send by default, we would like to adjust the default setting to do not send.

Guest Credit limits
Guest Credit Limit report to mitigate the risk of potential for bad debt write offs in the event of a client dispute and of being unable to recover monies owing, resulting in bad debt write-offs. Allows for a a daily review and follow up with guests when balance above hotel's limit. Ensure no guest ledger folios with cash status and debit balance outstanding.

Change room status Stayover (clean) automatically to dirty overnight
Housekeepers change dirty stayover rooms to clean after a stayovercleaning. The room status does not change automatically overnight. As the guest is the day after also a stay over and needs cleaning aswell.

The housekeeping system in Mews is currently based off cleaned rooms being inspected by a supervisor including for overnight stays. When rooms are inspected, they are then turned dirty overnight.
Would you be able to share some examples of why rooms would not be inspected by a supervisor or manager for overnight stays?

Edit Rooming List
I have 2 requests that both pertain to the rooming list functionality.
1) I would like to be able to edit rooming lists once they are downloaded. Right now, they download as locked excel spreadsheets. That means it is impossible to add notes, or simply delete columns that are not relevant. I would like to share rooming lists with clients, but that is not possible without being able to edit them.
2) If reservations within a group have two companions noted in the reservation, the rooming list duplicates each reservation, making the groups appear double in size. This is confusing,…

Products and Services - Bookable on X Day of Week Only
Products and services that are bookable during the reservation process should have a Day of Week Restriction.
IE: Hotel wants to offer a product that is only available if a guest is going to be staying over a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
If a guest is going to be checking in Sunday and Checking out Wednesday, the product should display and be bookable.
However, if they are checking in Wedneday & Checking out Thursday, the product should not display and be bookable as they guest wont be in house when the product is offered.

deleting bills/payments for easy correction
It would be nice to be able to correct a wrong input of payment by just being able to modify or delete it.
Perhaps with a time limit of 24 hours or less.

Automatically quarantine room after check out for XX days (for COVID-19)
To keep our team safe during the pandemic, we would like to automatically quarantine a room after a check-out for 24 or 48 hours before our housekeeping team enters the room to prepare it.
This helps us protect our team, and gives guests confidence that the room is safe from COVID-19.
