Customize quotation settings for optional bookings
For confirmed bookings we can set up a default send/do not send for confirmations. Quotations for optional bookings are currently send by default, we would like to adjust the default setting to do not send.

We would prefer to be able to have the ability to not allow a guest to confirm a booking online as we have additional details we need to follow up with in order to really confirm whether a guest can stay or not.

Totally agree, this is so no good for customer satisfaction is we forget to adapt this.
It would be a total improvement if it is changed to the quote not being sent by default! -

If we send a quotation email to a guest, after clicking the button to confirm, the system changes the reservation status to "confirmed" but doesn't ask the guest to provide his card details.
A reservation without payment cannot be considered a confirmed one, as we might not get payment from a guest at all.We need a separate email template or the ability to change the button that would lead to the form with card details that a person must fill in to really confirm the reservation.
