  1. Add More conditions to the Product Rules: so users can have even more specific applications. Some of them are:

    Such as the "Creation Date" of reservations. Especially if a new tax/service fee is to be in effect only after/before a certain date.
    Age Categories
    Space Features
    Valid Period of promotion (Voucher)
    Floor Number

  2. The option of setting automatic alerts to pop-up during different stages of reservations, such as during check-in, any time you open the reservation, during check-out. The alert text should be customizable, so a user can enter anything there, but also the possibility of adding standard alerts depending on membership level, profile classifications, specific rates, etc.

  3. The "group by" filter in the reservation report does not differentiate between groups with 1 reservation and those with 3+ reservations. Mews assigns a group reference/name to all regardless of the number of reservations in the group.

    For better group management, we need a more comprehensive group reporting for all corporate/business/conference groups at a property which would aid in easier marketing, financial performance, and reservation management.

There is no report on issuing a statement for an individual company, at any time of the month which should include invoice number, date of invoice, amount and the period (if it's overdue, how many days). Statements should be issued to companies on a regular basis in order to allow them to reconcile the account!

  7. La balance des tiers est illisible car tout est mélangé sans logique. Merci de la développer comme suit :
    - Balance des débiteurs (séjours passés = factures à envoyer)
    - Balance des encours (clients encore présents)
    - Balance des acomptes (clients à venir ayant déjà fait un paiement)

    Et pire encore, si une société ou un client a plusieurs séjours de réservé, les factures n’apparaissent jamais à traiter, ce qui nous pose ensuite des problèmes pour nous faire payer car les factures sont envoyées trop tard.

  8. Would it be interesting if it was possible to discount of a rate depending on length of stay ?
    So for example:-
    - Stay 2 or more nights and save 10 %
    - Stay 3 or more nights and save 20 %
    - Stay 5 or more nights and save 25 %
    - Stay 7 or more nights and save 30 %

    This set-up will allow properties to create promotions that are a bit more dynamic

  9. Bed Allocation needs to be optimized in order for one guest profile/booking with several individual bed reservations (eg several beds within one room category) to be allocated in the same room instead of being separated into several rooms/floors. In a house with more than 80% of occupancy rate, there is no way to allocate guests in the same dorm.

    - Employee priviledges: be able to block rate changes
    - Be able to push a report to see if there was a rate change to a booking

  13. In the "Assign spaces to employees" window it is possible to set filters for space status like dirty, clean etc. It would be great if we can also filter arrivals, stay over and departures rooms on a specific day!

  14. We have large flats with 3 rooms, equipped as follows s1iLiving room (not bookable independently).
    2 bedrooms (can be booked in combination with the living room as a small or large flat, or separately as 2 studios.
    Is it possible to add the living room so that it is not included in the count of total available rooms?
    In one of our existing houses, this means that instead of 124 rooms with 10 flats, we suddenly have 134 available rooms.
    For the cleaning report, it certainly makes sense to list all rooms. However, for all statistics, the data is distorted.

  15. It would be nice if we could cancel items/bookings on the billing screen by selecting and clicking on a cancel button. Now we have to book a negative item/booking, which is very cumbersome.

  16. Our accounting ledger, with the hostel closing and a lot of cancellations, is overloaded with negative outstanding amounts.
    We have seen with the MEWS team that as soon as we have a cancellation, the late cancellation turnover is posted automatically without us being able to do anything.
    In this case, is it possible to ensure that the negative and positive outstandings are filtered out?
    The goal is to show the user directly what he wants to see, so to add the filter in the options on the side.

  17. currently there is a maximum stay of 365 nights. for our business that just isn't acceptable as we regularly have people stay for several years. we would need to split the reservation which would impact on reports and give falls data and comparison figures.
    fair enough if you want to build in a warning message if you book for more than 365 nights, but do not limit a business or allow each business to set their own limit of maximum stay.

  18. Make it possible to set a period of time to a productrule. Example: the swimmingpool surcharge is applicable from April to October. In the current situation, the productrule is always applicable or never applicable

  19. Guests have the opportunity to change the reservation status from optional to confirmed in Mews guest services portal (former Navigator). It would be great if a task could be triggered to notify staff in the hotel that a reservation status change has occured.

  20. When you configure a product the price can only be: "per night", "per person", "per person per night" or "once". It would be great to have an additional option, a quantity up to the guest between some values stablished in MEWS. For example: we accept between one and two dogs per room and we can only sell one vía web; we want to sell bike rent for 1h during the stay, and just 2 people out of the four in the booking want to rent the bike (this is not possible either).
