  1. I would like to print a report of arrivals from the past which shows the guests ACTUAL check in time. Any report I produce shows the general 3pm arrival time but not the actual time the check in was performed on the system.

  2. Once you have created a rate, you should be able to amend it and link it to a base rate. If you have already mapped it on your channel manager, you do not wish to delete it and restart, you just want to now link it to a base rate or chase the base rate link

  4. This is very confusing
    Ok for if a guest is staying 2 nights, charging them and never see them again.

    very difficult to read and understand. Once the Guest has been charged. the bill disappears.

    Very difficult to work out what a guest has been charged for and when. especially long term people who do work for accom.

    this needs a lot of work.

    With the GC 'POST' Section, (even though the 'amount outstanding' didn't work, you could see what the guest has paid and when and how. So much better.

  5. Set the “email” field of a booking as mandatory in the customer profile. This information is extremely important in terms of customer interaction. Moreover a customer will be more willing to change an email address created by Booking or Expedia into its own personal email address.

  8. Hello,
    I love using your system it's really simple and effective.

    Just one suggestion maybe: when we had elements on a reservation (breakfast, city tax, half board etc...) it would be nice to have an option to select the dates we want them to be charged. At the moment, it charges them automatically for the all stay and we have to cancel the lines we don't need one by one (for example for a customer that stays 5 nights but wants breakfast only one day).

  9. To be able to generate a report of duplicate profiles (All profile types) report. This will help in managing the merging process for individual profiles and at least flag the other duplicates that can not be merged ie company profiles.

  10. It would be good to have an history of name changes in guest profiles. It would also be very useful if we could find profiles even when searching for the old name in the search bar. That way we could find a reservation using an original email from the client, evenif the name in the reservation changed.

  11. It could be a great idea to have the possibility to settle a baby occupancy, apart of the adult/children occupancy.

    For example :
    Our first Room Category can welcome 2 adults or 1 adult +1 child, so I have to settle the maximum occupancy for this room to 2.
    This same Room can also welcome 2 adults/children + 1 baby with a cot.

    With the current setting, couples with baby won't be able to book this room because of the maximum occupancy of 2, to avoid booking of more than 2 people.

  12. Dear Mews Team,

    Could you create a new Mobile Application where it will be possible to directly use Mews website instead of using an internet browser (like Google Chrome, Safari,...) on iPhone / iPad ?

    At the moment the interface is not so user friendly and it could really save us time by creating a dedicated application like the MewsCommander app.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

    Our goal is to make the Mews web application user friendly as possible across all devices. We also provide the mews Kiosk in co-operator mode so that your front office staff will be able to tablets for the check in process.

    Would you be able to share some examples of use cases or sections of the system where you find the interface less user friendly when browsing on using a phone or tablet?

  13. we should have an option to click on the red line and see straight away where you have the overbooking. Sometimes the overbooking is two years later and you waste your time following the red line

  14. the update overview on Mews is great, but could it please be possible to add a delete button once you have read the update. that way you know exactly which ones you still need to familiarise yourself with and don't end up with a list 500km long!

  15. Is it possible to add a Space Type Connecting Rooms which does not impact our hotel capacity?
    Example : we have connecting rooms based on 2 standard rooms, currently the connecting room add a space to our inventory which false our reports and global data.

    It would be great that the connecting rooms have a specific space type (composed of other spaces).

  16. i have set up new products with a zero rate as we need to be able to manual add the correct one each time. however, when coming to posting the product, it won't let us change the amount from zero.
    is this an error on the system?
    previously set products like this are still able to be manually have the amount changed

  17. Currently to check in a guest, You have to navigate too many screens between payment, guest info, and check in. Instead when you click check in, MEWS should automatically prompt the guest info then payment instead of having to navigate multiple tabs.

  18. Currently daily rate is not amendable once the bookings are created, with a status OPTION (not confirmed). We used to have it but not anymore.
    Also, we can never change room allocation if the booking is an option.

  19. could we have some open options on the internals on the guest profile please. at the moment the list is not working for us at all with most options not applicable and those that we need not on the list.
    have perhaps some standard ones (like return guest / complaint), but leave around 10 open fields per property which we are able to populate ourselves.
    currently it is as good as pointless having this feature

  20. Allowing to group the same products together on a bill would make it clearer for the guest. For example, if a guest stays for 15 days, his invoice will include 15 times the 'local tax' product making the invoice lengthy and not easy to read.
    It would be better to simply display local tax x 15, for example.
    It could maybe be set for specific products when configuring them.
