  2. When filter for Cancelled reservations in the reservation report, the status cancelled should be ticked when looking for cancelled reservations.

  3. Ability to accept IATA number from channels and possibility to distinguish between IATA numbers in Mews. Include specific % commission for each Travel Agent.

    Ability to list Travel Agent Production using Mews listing all guests stays within a given period for Commission Payment. Integration with a Travel Agency Payment platform should be an option.

  4. It would be very nice to see the room number of the guest in the tasks list in the Mews Commander and the mews commander app.
    If the housekeeping is using only the app, they can't see the reservation and therefore the room number.

    Hello from the Mews product team,

    We are very happy to announce that we have added reservation details in the task section of the Mews mobile app!

    You will now be able to view reservation details, as well as the room number of a reservation if there are tasks attached.

    Selecting the room number will take you directly to the space where the reservation is currently assigned.

  5. There should be a Classification about a "request". Many guests have special requests, but there is no classification to put on their reservation.

  7. We close the Hotel for Christmas. I want toclose all my rooms for 3 days. But in Mews it's just possible to do that room by room. Why I don't can choose the rooms in a list. Now I make a reservation with 0 Euro for the whole Hotel. But in the statistics, it will appear as we was selling the rooms, even if the price is 0.

    The same when a client is changing to another room, you have to deparate the rooms ) but just when the client is allready check in, before i's not possible to separate…

  8. When checking in a guest in Mews it is not immediately apparent if their is a Payment Card on file unless you select the "Payment" button to see if one is present which is an extra click. If it is already there, it was a wasted click. If the card is not there, then you will need to enter the Payment Card. It would be good to see if a credit card is present or not in the reservation screen before you touch the "Check-in" button. Additionally, if there is no credit card or preauthorization on the card if Mews…

  9. I shouldn't have to create a separate adjustments account for each type of adjustment. If a night has already closed, and then the rate needed to be adjusted by a supervisor because of an error, then their adjustment should be just a Rate Adjustment - automatically contributing to room revenue. I shouldn't have to use the billing tab to then manually calculate rate vs tax breakdown, and post a separate "unbookable service" etc.

    Also, refunds / adjustments should be able to be posted to the specific reservations even if they are closed out already. It should be possible to open…

  10. It would be really helpful if, on the billing tab, you can include the rate vs tax breakdown when we expand a billing item. It is causing our staff to be confused when posting adjustments and we are, as a result, paying close to $1000 in taxes more than what we collect for most of our properties.

  12. Dear Mews Team,

    Could you create a new Mobile Application where it will be possible to directly use Mews website instead of using an internet browser (like Google Chrome, Safari,...) on iPhone / iPad ?

    At the moment the interface is not so user friendly and it could really save us time by creating a dedicated application like the MewsCommander app.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

    Our goal is to make the Mews web application user friendly as possible across all devices. We also provide the mews Kiosk in co-operator mode so that your front office staff will be able to tablets for the check in process.

    Would you be able to share some examples of use cases or sections of the system where you find the interface less user friendly when browsing on using a phone or tablet?

  14. When you click on the "Timeline" symbol on the guest future reservation. The system does not brings you to the exact reservation on the timeline. you have to check for that on the search bar. I think it would save time if we can access straight away from the guest reservation.

  15. it would be good if we could print an in-house guest list including mobile numbers. we use this for emergencies (i.e. fire roll call) and currently we are only able to print guest name, room number, number of occupants.

    for that same reason it would be good if we had the option to mark a guest as "requirying assistance" which would print on this report. that doesn't have to be a "disabled" person, but could be somebody with young children or difficulty walking

  16. As we are a couple properties using MEWS, it would be amazing to move postings from one to the other property in the same hotel-chain.

    So if a guest has consumed lunch in partner property, it would be amazing to post it on the room in our hotel.

  18. We should be able to modify rates for multiple room categories at once. When we modify rates for a given period we should be able to select the period and then enter the rate for each category of rooms instead of having to click - re-enter the dates and then the rate.
    It takes 3 times to amount it should take to have a more dynamic rate strategy!

    I.E. A negative product set up as an adjusment
    -15€ dinner on accomodation revenue to have a discounted price for half-board

  20. A hotel is not just rooms and beds. There are many resources in each hotel. There can be co-working spaces, parking lots, conference rooms, kitchens, sport courts, bikes or boats, sports equipment etc. (the list could be literally endless) and we want to manage them in the system and offer them to the guests just like we offer rooms and beds today. It would allow us to boost the non-accommodation revenue and diversify the hotel's business.

    Hello,

    I’m happy to announce that it is now possible to create multiple bookable services in Mews and start offering offices, meeting rooms, desks or parking spots to your guests.

    There is a dedicated timeline and reporting for each new service. Services can be offered on daily or overnight basis.

    The team is currently shifting its focus towards multiple time units functionality, which should unlock e.g. the possibility to create and efficiently manage monthly reservations.
