  1. The green sign shows up when all the guest completed the online check in. Thats rarly the case often we need just the date of birth of the second person and then the guest gets asked the normal registration form because nobody looked up the pre filled in regestrion card.

  2. When the visitor of our booking street clicks on a date on which we have no availability, he or she will receive the advice to select another date or to contact our reception (by e-mail or by telephone). Currently it is impossible to change this text.

    We notice that our reception is now receiving many calls regarding our availability. In most cases, the caller reacts with disappointment, because providing these contact details incorrectly suggests that a room is still available.

    The option to change this text would be greatly appreciated.

  3. We do not have a 24 hour front desk and do not want the ability for a guest to make a same day reservation after 9pm. Currently we can only set a restriction for the whole day, please add the ability to set a specific time.

  4. Hello,

    During the online checkin can we do rules for the products that we propose to the guest ? If I have a guest that have a rate that include breakfast we should be able to have a rule to hide the breakfast. If we have guest with corporate segment we should be able to hide the product romantic package ...

  5. Could be great if you did automated IATA nr. pulls from IATA database - this would then provide hotels with an updated "IATA Agency" list.... similar to the way you do address look-ups

  6. For example: We work with a mobile app (Zaplox) with deeplink to the mobile app, but we cannot make us of the deeplink at this moment, because placeholder {ConfirmationNumber} is missing. Therefor guests have to do all manually.

  7. In hotels with many (corporate) rates where every rate has different cancellation terms, different benefits etc...front desk staff has difficulties to know what benefits are linked to certain rates. Displaying the rate description as a note in each reservation would help Front Desk to correctly inform guest.

    Specific example: if a company with a corporate rate is entitled to a discount on our parking price (when the guest uses parking), it would be useful that when a reservation is created with that company rate...an automatic note appears: corporate rate with breakfast, 6PM cancellation policy and 10% on parking.

  8. We offer certain additional services (like afternoon tea) for which we require a preparation time of 48 hours. unfortunately there doesn't seem to be the possibility to mark this when setting up the service - only that you can offer it prior to arrival. is there a way we can add a time limit on (i.e. 48 hours prior to arrival) and that it generates a task not on the day of arrival but for example a week prior to arrival or on the day of the product being added by the guest.

  9. Often the booker asks us to copy the guest in the proposal or confirmation emails. Currently, we have to send the emails twice (once at the time of booking and again through the booking module). Would it be more efficient and clearer for the guest/booker to have the possibility to add another email address (recipients) in CC for the proposal and confirmation emails?

  10. It would be good if the guest can get the exact information on their payment status in the confirmation email.

    It needs a code (Placeholder in template) so that the payment at the reservation will show as the rest of commands open to pay in the confirmation mail.

    Its critical data that the client needs specially for transparency

  11. a search function in the messages would be very helpful - or being able to see whether a guest has sent a message through MEWS in their profile/reservation.

    For example if a guest asks to cancel and a cancellation/no-show fee would apply it would he useful to be able to check whether and when they requested this.
    The CTRL+F command is quite tedious to use because it requires to load also older message first, and that is not ideal.

  12. Allow customization on when a product should or shouldn't be shown to the guest.

    Some examples:

    • Don't show breakfast product for breakfast included rates
    • Restrict a product in the guest journey depending on minimum/maximum advance (will allow for gradually more expensive versions of the product as it gets closer to the date of stay)
    • Restrict a product for certain days of the week (only available on weekends)

  13. We want to change the options in the guest profile by ourselves.
    at this moment (in the Dutch version) we can only choose between meneer or mevrouw (twice).
    we want to have a option for mijnheer en mevrouw, familie ect.

  14. In Austria the registration law wants the adress, id ccard and signature from the main Traveller and the name and date of birth of the fellow passengers. Mews prints and want all the data of each guest. Better would be also for the digital path that the main traveller has the oppurtunity to fill in the data from his self and also int the same form off his fellow travellers

  15. At the moment, you cannot send a message or email from Mews to your guests.
    This functionality needs to be implemented ASAP. I really expect this functionality from Mews. There should be an easy way to send out a message to all inhouse guest at onec for example.

  16. differentiate the markup by competitor. EG: Booking =114%, HRS=110%, Weekendesk=120%,etc., because markup percentages are different per company.
    Now it is only possible to give One markup for all chosen Competitors.

  17. Whilst its 'controlled' in the booking flow that a guest cannot complete the reservation without ticking the acceptance box for T&Cs, when it comes to defending a chargeback it supports a stronger counter-challenge if we have the ability to send a screenshot of the reservation summary with the datapoint captured that the T&Cs were accepted and timestamped.

  18. Add the possibility to add conditions for the automatic emails.
    For instance, when a guest create a last minute booking and a pre-checkin email is is sent, make sure no other email is sent to fill the profil on the same day.
    Avoiding dupplicate information.

  19. Hello Mews Team

    As a hostel we rent out single beds in a dorm. In the booking engine those units shows as "maximum persons: 1", "available: 10". I understand the logic behind this, but many of our costumers seem to struggle with the "maximum persons: 1" bit when booking for multiple people.

    Ideally we would like to have the option which of our categories show the "maximum persons" tag.
