  2. Would be great if there are more possibilities in the bookingsengine for the guest, especially for corporate bookers. In terms of a: PO ref, special requests (which are returning on the booking confirmation for the guest), possibilities when booking out of a availability block through the bookingsengine. Now only 1 booker can book, but it's necessary to fill out an email address of the guest, which isn't always available.

  3. Would it be possible to add an option to the kiosk configuration to disable actually checking a guest in?

    One use case for this would be guests and/or companyons completing the "online checkin" late, or prefilling their data in case the room is not ready yet. At the moment, if a room isn't ready, the guests can't even complete the data entry steps.

  4. The online checkin process currently only allows the guest to select either male or female. It has became a standard to offer at least an "other" option in almost all such forms, it is even possible to specify this in some passports. This doesn't seem like a complicated feature to implement and has already been requested numerous times. Would it be possible to finally have this corrected?

  5. The customisable online checkin form currently allows us to collect data from other accompanying adults (or children), this however isn't this case if we pick the Default documents as the document type.

    This document type is the only one that requires the guest to provide a document based on nationality, the other types don't enforce this. It is really important for us to collect accurate guest information so the default option makes the most sense, however this then defeats the purpose of an online checkin, since all the accompanying guests would have to manually provide their documents on site.

  6. Currently we need to trigger 2 emails to send confirmation to a booker and guest. Both emails only trigger data for that specific profile type. We want to populate the confirmation email with both profile types (booker and guest)).

  8. Mews already lets staff send a reservation to the Kiosk at check-in — guests see it instantly without searching. It works beautifully.

    My Proposal: add a "Send bill to Kiosk" function. This can be used during check out period. Guest reviews line by line on the Kiosk, staff edits in Mews if anything is wrong, guest confirms and pays, then check out.
    Benefits: paperless, faster check-out, and a consistent Kiosk experience from arrival to departure.

  9. Da die Meldepflicht für Staatsbürger desselben Landes seit 01.01.2025 entfallen ist, müssen wir als Hotel keinen Meldeschein mehr unterschreiben lassen. Daher ist es zwingend erforderlich, die Staatsangehörigkeit schon im Buchungsvorgang abzufragen. Daher bitten wir euch umgehend, dass wir einstellen können, dass die Staatsangehörigkeit zum Pflichtfeld in der Booking Engine wird.

  10. We need the ability to control which products are shown in the different booking engines, instead of having the same setup across all channels.

    Some of our partners use their own booking engine and offer special products. Therefore, we want to decide which products they can access and sell, while keeping others exclusive.

  11. A button to restrict a reservation regardless of rate code to do a self check in via kiosk. For example if there is a preordered vip sparkling wine etc to be delivered to room or if there is a issue with the payment that needs to be resolved via staff. By choosing to restrict self check in via kiosk the guest would be asked to see the staff to do a check in.

  13. Feature request: Add guest account Sign-in to the Mews Booking Engine
    Sign-in method: Email + password
    Placement in flow: Show Sign-in on the Contact details step (before payment), so returning guests can sign in before entering personal data
    Expected behavior after sign-in: Automatically prefill contact details (for example: name, phone number, address) from the guest profile
    New guest flow: Option to create an account during booking
    Account recovery: Forgot password via email
    Privacy: Clear consent for storing and reusing details for future reservations

  15. From the package page → package preselected in the booking module, going directly to room selection. In this flow, the package comes before choosing a room type.

    If someone selects a package with limited availability (such as the Easter package), it is important that this can be passed along so that a visitor can only select the valid dates for that package from the main domain.

    From the room page → room preselected, with packages prominently displayed as optional add-ons (possibly in a separate step). At the moment, the packages are somewhat hidden.

  16. Would it be possible to make it optional to send emails for groups only to owner of the reservation and once? We now book rooms for groups all on 1 guestprofile. And when there are 8 rooms booked, this guest receives alle service emails 8 times.

  19. The Booking Engine currently shows only the name, image, and price of a service promotion. The description entered in the service settings (e.g., for parking) is not displayed to guests. Please enable service promotion descriptions to appear directly in the “Enhance your stay” section of the booking page.

  20. We offer a special 28 days rate. However based on the booking engine capabilities, this 28 day rate only shows up when someone looks to book for exactly 28 days. We need something on the booking engine that allows for a contextual note when someone searches, for example, 15 days, that there is a better price if you book 28 days
