  1. The SMS Service Add on Subscribtion is a good Idea, but it might can be improved as following:
    1.) The way this product add-on is being priced is not a good fit for smaller hotels. Why can't there be pure pay-as-you go model, maybe with a higher individual SMS charges, but only on the acutal volume sent? I mean, the cary over that remains from the 50 € each month for us cannot ever be consumed...
    2.) Track clicks: currenty there is no way to know if the sent sms messages are actually improving online check-in rates. It would be…

  2. the employees at the front office who process early check-ins and therefore check the room status often start the check-in process because the room status is inspected, yet only because the room is not yet checked out. Only at check-out room status moves to dirty.

    Unfortunately, the pop-up on the tablet (Kiosk in staff mode) that the room is not ready for occupancy only comes after the guest has entered their data and signed.

    Would be great if there would be a sign if the room is still occupied, in the check-in screen or if the room moves to dirty…

  4. Signature for accompanying persons Optional

    Since the update in July 2024, MEWS Kiosk asks for the signature of all travelling persons. As the data is usually filled in by the main booker and is not required by law, I agree that the signature for accompanying persons can be set to fixed, optional or not required as required.

    In addition, it makes little sense to ask for this data for small children etc..

  5. The idea is that when a guest books one of our properties, he will be asked if he wants to book another as well.
    E.g. A guest books a stay in Vienna. After the booking was completed he gets ask if he wants to book a stay in Munich as well and when clicking on it he gets directly to the booking engine of the other property.

  7. We want to restrain the possibility of the selection language in the Mews booking engine. For example, we only want that the client can utilize the English and Español version.
    Can you develop a function (check box in a list for example) which permit that ?

  8. Booking gaps should be automatically overridden by the MLOS. For example, if the MLOS is 5 but there is a gap of 3 or 1 night, it should be automatically bookable. This is especially important for smaller properties with individual room categories.

  9. It would be good to have a template for each rate. It was already mentioned but having more freedom with email templates in terms of adding more template options by hotels based on their own needs, as selection now is very limited.

    Mews seems to be a trying something new and making things simpler for guests and staff, but there are certainly some fields to be improved.

  11. As the title says, right now you have the option for Customer & Booker, Booker, or None. we would like to see Customer as an option. sometimes we need to confirmations to just go to the customers, and not spam our bookers with the confirmation and cancellation emails.

  12. Only request necessary data
    At the moment, the Austrian online check-in only asks for the data that is actually required by the authorities. In the kiosk, however, all data of all persons including address are requested. You should also set the same requirements in the kiosk as in the online check-in.

  13. At the moment the Kiosk Screensaver welcomes guest in different langueges for Check In. I think it would be more intuitive to tell guest just in englisch to check in and check out at the Kiosk.

  15. We manage several holiday rental units and the different space categories have different addresses in two different cities.
    Currently the property address is placed in the general settings tab. The address placed in the general settings tab is the one that appears in the booking confirmation message for reservations at Mews booking engine in at tahe " How to get there" field.
    We've tried to leave the ‘City’ field in the general settings tab blank, but it's not possible because it's a mandatory field.

  19. When campaign code is restricted, booking engine should show this to the guest "the campaign code is not available this date, please try another date"

  20. We would like to customize the occupancy in the booking engine, so that we have the posibility to manage the amount of available houses for sale.

    For example, when there is one house left in each house type, it should not be possible to sell in the Booking engine to avoid overbooking, so it is only possible to book by contacting us directly.
