Reservation with option dates
Wenn wir potentiellen Gästen mehrere Zimmer offerieren wollen, wäre es cool, dass jedes Zimmer im E-Mail einzeln gebucht werden kann. Also das man entscheiden will ob es ein Gast ist mit einem Zimmer aber er möchte verschiedene Zimmeroptionen, oder ob es eine Anfrage ist mit mehreren Zimmern, welche dann alle bestätigt werden (so ist es im Moment). Es wäre sehr Hilfreich, damit der Gast nicht 4-5 verschiedene E-Mails erhält und direkt buchen kann, wenn ihm eine Zimmerkategorie gefällt.

Higher sensitivity on the Match and merge screen for merging guest profiles
Despite the Match & Merge screen for guest profiles, we unfortunately often still have duplicates of guest profiles. It would be very helpful if you could influence the number of matching fields that cause the guest profiles to appear in the Match & Merge screen. Ofcourse this would increase the number of suggestions, but we would have less chance of duplicate guest profiles.

A check-in URL for each booking platform
We would like to request the addition of a clearly visible and fully functional online check-in URL to each booking platform we use, specifically for multi-property guest journeys.
At the moment, we’ve noticed that the check-in link is either missing or not functioning correctly on platforms such as Booking.com. This inconsistency creates friction for guests and limits our ability to encourage early and smooth check-ins.
Ensuring the online check-in link is prominently displayed and operational across all platforms would greatly improve the guest experience and help streamline our pre-arrival process.

Improve information displayed for payment requests in guest profiles
When a customer completes a required pre-authorization in the booking engine, a payment request is automatically created and displayed on the guest profile. Currently, this payment request appears with the message “payment for reservation”, which can be misleading. Additionally, the payment request does not indicate which user or process created it.
As a result, it’s difficult to identify that the request originated from the pre-authorization process without manually cross-referencing timestamps within the system.
Proposed Improvements:
Display the user or system process that created the payment request (e.g., Booking Engine – Pre-Authorization).
Update the message text to clearly reflect the context…

Produktanfrage für eine Umschaltoption „Bestellübersicht im geführten Modus überspringen“
Es gibt eine neue Funktion im Kiosk. Am Ende des Check-ins wird die Bestellungsübersicht angezeigt. Diese lässt sich aktuell nicht deaktivieren. Dies ist aber sehr wichtig, da es genug Buchungen gibt, wo der Gast die Preise nicht sehen darf. Zum Beispiel Reiseveranstalterpreise.

Transfer guest contact details from tablet to guest profile
We can use a tablet where the guests would enter their contact details and that would automatically get transferred to Mews guests profile - without the full self check-in process.

Sehr geehrtes MEWS-Team,
zunächst möchten wir betonen, wie zufrieden wir mit Ihrem PMS sind. MEWS ist aus unserer Sicht ein hervorragend durchdachtes System, das viele Prozesse im Hotelalltag effizient und intuitiv gestaltet – dafür ein großes Kompliment!
Dennoch möchten wir einen konkreten Verbesserungsvorschlag zum Angebotsmanagement anregen:
Aktuell führt die Angebotsdarstellung bei Gruppenanfragen (z. B. bei einer Buchung von 10 Zimmern) zu einer sehr unübersichtlichen Darstellung. Der Gast erhält eine lange Liste einzelner Zimmerangebote, was die Übersichtlichkeit und Vergleichbarkeit stark einschränkt.
Zudem ist es derzeit nicht möglich, die verschiedenen Zimmerkategorien mit ihren jeweiligen Preisen separat und klar strukturiert darzustellen. Dies erschwert sowohl…3 votes -
Development of linked profiles
Now we can link profiles together. A very good development.
As a next step, it would be helpful if we could not only use these links manually, but also automate the processes.For example, I create a new reservation. If I now want to add fellow travellers, I currently have to check the profile to see if there are any linked profiles, and then laboriously type in and search for the names of the linked profiles as before.
It would be advantageous if the linked profiles were automatically displayed in this step. Ideally with showing the saved relationship.

automate customer who wants a specific room when they stay
we have a customer that specifically wants a specific room when they stay. since the room assignments are automated in mews, is there a way to make this part of the guest profile internals? so that that customer always gets that specific room and there is no day before/of reassigning of rooms to accomodate this.

digital offer renew stay
I want to extend the digitalization of my hotel. As part of this, I'd like to be able to offer a comprehensive digital package to my guests. Offer guests the option to stay an extra night, subject to availability.
Send an email offering a negotiated rate.

Check in through QR Code
To streamline the check-in process, especially for large groups, we propose implementing a QR code system:
Guests scan a QR code that directs them to the hotel’s guest portal.
They can complete online check-in by entering their first and last name.
This allows faster processing for groups compared to relying solely on the 6 available kiosks.
For individual arrivals, the current solution using a personalized online check-in link via email remains available.
This approach provides flexibility: efficient group check-in through QR code scanning while maintaining the personalized option for single guests.

Ready system for eID
With the upcoming introduction of an eID in Switzerland, the ID/Passport scanning function should be updated to be able to read QR codes and access Switzerland's eID system.
Also online check-in should allow guests to connect their eID if wanted, next to manually filling in all data.

Quick Checkout for reservations with balanced bills
Let me propose a new flow for Quick-Checkouts, complementing or enhancing the self checkout:
Let an automation run daily at a certain time (for example 8 or 9 am) with the following process:
- find reservations ready to check-out today (balanced bill, check-out today)
- check if a company is attached to the reservation or if a routing rule is applied, possibly also exclude reservations based on rate or rate group filter, skip those, but include the ones that are to be paid with a virtual credit card.

Add Address as fields to Booking Engine
When booking through the Booking Engine, guests are not asked for their address, this only happens when they perform the check-in online.
Please request it when booking through the Booking Engine so that we don't need to register address at physical check-in.

Limit Chat Button's Access to the Guest Portal
"Contact Us" or "Chat with Us" buttons in the Email Templates currently lead to the guest portal (GP) when clicked.
We should give users the possibility to limit such access to just messages and prevent the guest from accessing the GP, especially if the property does not wish to use the OCI (online check-in) flow as part of their operations.

Allow an owner of a group reservation the ability to complete OCI for all other reservation within the same group
Allow an "organizer"/ single reservation owner from a group of reservations (all with their own owner) the ability to perform OCI and provide CC for incidentals for other reservations/owners in the same group of reservations.
Currently the owner of a reservation in the same group with different owners can only perform OCI for their own reservation and not on behalf of anybody else contained within that same group of reservations.

Ability to Restrict Certain Rate Codes from Kiosk Check-In
We need the option to block specific rate codes from being eligible for self check-in via the kiosk. Some rates require guests to check in at the reception in order to present valid identification and/or to pay using specific payment methods that are not supported by the kiosk

Mews Kiosk: Remove Ambiguity in Flow to Find Multiple Reservations under Same Name
Is there a way to clearly indicate to the guest that they "have another Reservation waiting!", especially after they confirmed "Last Name + First Name + Confirmation Number". Perhaps "You have already checked in Stay #200, do you want to check in Stay #201?"
We need to remove some hesitation in the flow for the guest when attempting to check in multiple reservations under the same name.

Enrich pre-stay email & check-in platform with "Co-living rules" for hostel
In order to address operational issues and after benchmarking several hostels, we would like to enhance our HOSHO hotel's pre-stay email (sent for online check-in) with “Co-living Rules” (essential in a hostel setting with shared dorms).
The aim is to add them both:
- to the email encouraging guests to check in online (by enriching its content)
- to the Mews platform to which they are redirected to do soCan you please let us know if this is possible and how long it will take?
We need it asap to develop our brand.
