The "customer insights" data Mews gathers at the customer profile level should be reported in one place so clients can make use of the stats to create promotions or programs to incentivize their guests.
Stay Frequency Analysis: Number of stays per customer within a selected period.
Revenue Contribution: Total spend per customer (room + POS).
Visit Patterns: Average length of stay, seasonal trends.

Accounting Report: Filter Payments According to Specific Accounting Category/Service Filter
Currently, you can filter out the report by specific Service or Accounting Categories for the revenue portion.
However, we cannot filter out Payments "associated" and recorded for that specific revenue. Especially if we are looking at specific POS Room Charge Revenue that is posted on the rooms.
It would be useful to be able to do so for further analysis.

Edit the rate of an existing availability block
It should be possible to edit the rate of an existing availability block. There are multiple reasons as to why a rate needs to be changed and deleting and remaking the whole block slows down work a lot.

Spaces must not be hard deleted
I don't like the fact that when I delete a Space, it gets completely deleted. Reservations show "Unassigned" for "Assigned Space", and it can be no longer retrieved via the API.
This basically breaks the referential integrity of the data, which is a rather serious issue. Such deletions should only be done as a soft delete - ie. the Space should be marked as deleted, and deletion date captured. It must no longer be assignable, but it should stay there so past reservations can still reference it.

"Catégorie d'espace"
Nous sommes une pourvoirie et nos locations sont pour des chalets, des terrains de camping, des tentes prêt-à-camper et des embarcations nautiques. Le problème est qu'il n'y a pas de "catégorie d'espace" pour les embarcations nautiques, il y en a une seulement pour les vélo. Même chose pour nos chalets ou il n'y a pas ce choix.

Export Group Allotment / Pick-Up Report
It would be great to be able to export the group allotment chart to show clients their group block pick-up. Copy and pasting the data from the Dashboard does not paste properly in Excel, Numbers, or any other app (Pages, Outlook, etc)

Link task to allotment block
It would be nice to be able to link task directly to the allotment block. It would be easier to locate the block already before any rooms have been picked up. We have several users handling the blocks and making adjustments to the room account, so this would help a lot.

Restrictions consider departure date
Currently restrictions only consider the arrival date and not the departure date.
This means that if I want only allow bookings at my property from today - 365 days from now, setting the below restriction is not enough to close out the property from day 366 onwards. This restriction will allow a reservation to start on day 1 - 364 and end any day afterwards.

Occupancy based availability blocks
Currently when an availability block is created, you can only block a space category overall. What would be beneficial to see an accurate ADR forecast/OTB for the future, is to be able to block rooms based on single or double occupancy.
For example, we block 8 rooms Standard as Single Occ. and 2 rooms Standard as Double Occ. with 2 different rates, so the ADR is calculated correctly. Currently it is only based on one rate and then adjusts once picked up based on occupancy adjustments, but for forecasting this is no use.

Allow Export Pull over 4MB for Larger Enterprise Properties
When attempting to export more than 4MB of data, the Reservation Report often fails and times out, particularly for larger enterprise properties.
It is important to take into account that properties with larger inventories are likely to have more reservation data overall; therefore, they should not have to constantly rely on exporting smaller batches and having to piece them together.

Breakfast price changes - Product
Problem:
When you update a product price in Mews (like breakfast), it only applies to new bookings. But if a guest changes their reservation (like the dates), Mews may remove the original product and re-add it at the new price not the one that was originally booked. This causes confusion for staff, inconsistent pricing for guests, and potential overcharges. Even with the workaround of creating new product versions and stopping sales of the old one, the issue can still happen, especially when guests change bookings via OTAs like Booking.com.Proposed Solution:

Timeline Improvements
We have just moved across to MEWS so far there is a lot to like, but there are a few issues that are making it a real pain at time...
1) Ability to sort the timeline in numerical order, I appreciate all the other filter options but sometimes just viewing spaces in numerical order is greatly appreciated
2) ability to use our own in house colours for reservations this allows a quick glance at the timeline to gain a lot of information without having to search for it

Multiple cancellation policies within the same Rate group should allow for prioritization
We would like to be able to set priorities for multiple Cancellation policies within the same Rate group. For example if the rate group has 30 days cancellation policy, but also needs to apply free cancellation within 24hr after confirmation, if the booking was made less that 30 days prior to arrival, 24 hr free cacellation should kick in first and exclude 30 days cancellation policy.

Would be very helpful if the dietary restrictions or allergies the guest enters on their profile to also appear on their booking in the timeline and not just under their profile. This will save us a huge amount of time

Cancellation Policy Overwrites improvement / bug fix
Currently if you set a cancellation policy overwrite for a rate group there are several issues:
- The overwrite policy is not reflected within the email templates
- The policy only applies if the arrival date falls within this period. There is no way to define an inclusion rule

Add Task Filter: Accomodation Number and task improves
Creating a filter in the Mews app for the tasks; now they are in order of time of reporting, but that’s not efficient.
A good option to help the Operations and Housekeeping teams is have a filter to put the task by roomnumber (accommodationnumber).

Fixed start dates for voucher booking engines
Would it be possible to configure fixed start and end dates for the "voucher" booking engines?
To improve the guest experience when promoting a time-limited rate, it would be ideal to define a default start date for the voucher that aligns with the start of the promotion. If the selected date is before this, the default would adjust to the actual current date.
Likewise, if a user searches for availability beyond the promotion’s end date, rather than showing a generic “No availability” message, it could display “Sorry, this offer has expired” with a redirect link to the main booking engine.

check out
When you have the departure list open and select multiple rooms you sometimes get an error message that one room can not be checked out if it is already checked out or have an open biil. It would be great if the system checked out the remaning rooms that have been selected so you don't have to start over from the beginning if the page is not updated and you have selected multiple rooms for check out

Show space status (inspected, dirty) in check out report
Have a column for space status in the check out report so that the reception can see if the room has been cleaned or not . If the guest did leave without checking out and hk has cleaned the room, it automatically makes it dirty if we check the room out, therefore to make sure/make it easier to see the room status so that the reception can change the status back to inspected without having to click in to each reservation.
