Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports.   1. iDEAL Payment request
    It is also possible to send a business iDEAL Payment Request to your customers. You can do this by sending a link via various channels, including e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp. For example, the iDEAL Payment Request is used to let customers pay afterwards, to pay for digital invoices or to settle (monthly) subscription fees. Research has even shown that a digital invoice that contains a link for an iDEAL payment is paid on average three times as fast.

  2. If a guest has a separate booker, and the guest is checking out, but there are still things to pay for the booker, is that possible to show at the check out report? For an example, if the guest himself hast open payments, he is marred orange

  7. We are using Mews primarily from an iPad. Because mobile support hasn't been fully added yet, it means that we have about 1/6 of the top of the screen permanently showing controls.

    However, simply adding the code below will allow us to save Mews as a Web App, and if we save it to link to the home screen, opening it from there will display Mews with limited control.

    In the long run, maybe make sure that Mews is a PWA can also do it. Here's some great examples:

  9. The date time picker in reports has a few extra clicks than the NRS. I would like to be able to select the start and end date when the calendar is open, rather than having to open the close date calendar after selecting a start date.

  10. For properties that wish to automate their guest's journey during check-in, they need Mews to be able to send out trigger when a guest completes their online check-in. Based on this, their door lock integrations could send the guest access code to their room. We should also be able to receive back information that the guest entered the room which can then change the reservation from online check-in to checked-in. This is in case that they have technology in place that recognizes when someone enters the room.

  11. When you got the inform list of the reservations. The people that a arriving or leaving. Having there more options (customise) to see there only the things that you want to see.
    (Example: can take the comision, tariff and totally away. Or when the reservation was made).
    Also that you could see in this list, how much has the guest already paid. Of the balance that the guests still has to pay.

  13. Add Room nights booked to individual reservation reports and include room nights booked to totals, so this information can be summarised easily and does not have to be extracted from the arrival and departure dates.

    MAKE A LAYMAN LANGUAGE TO EXPLAIN THE THINGS AS NOT ALL OF THE REPRESENTATIVE ARE INTO THE MODERN SYSTEM....

    KEEP THE NOTES WHERE A FRONT DESK DOES NOT HAVE AN ACCESS TO IT SO THAT WE KNOW ITS GONNA BE HANDLE BY THE MANAGER..

  18. think you need to work on that feature a bit so reception aware when a HOUSE USE room checks in, make sure there is a check in and check out solution – otherwise, how do we know if the members of staff is in the room or not???

    And also room changes should be allowed instead of having to delete a space block and create a new one.

    A House room use is a reservation like any other, the only difference is that it does not count into the inventory and revenue.

  19. Booking number should be in all reports - Accounting ledger report and paymentreport, It is much easyer to remember at number instead of the spelling of a name.
    and it would be very usefull if you need to merge 2 reports
