Print or email a partial invoice
It would be nice to have an option to select a Partial/Separate Invoice without the trouble of splitting a reservation into 2 separate reservations. We get many corporate people who might stay 3 nights getting reimbursed by the company and add 2 nights so they can have a get away with their spouse/partner for the weekend all on their personal card. Or even if it is not specific nights, a guest may not want more than the room charges on the invoice submitted to the office, because the employer may not reimburse the hotel stay for the business trip if…

Down Allergy
We offer down bedding by default and hypoallergenic upon request. I want the guest to have the option to check the hypoallergenic box when making their reservation so we know how to prepare their bedding. We can't find out upon arrival that this is needed as it takes too much time to implement. The special requests blank field isn't good enough as the guest needs a specific prompt for this request that we can automatically alert housekeeping to.

Update roominglist more than only once with excel sheet
The Excel rooming list can now only be uploaded once and not more. When trying another upload, it is not possible. We often have group rooming lists who change a lot and it would be easy if we can "upload" new rooming lists and override the old ones by just one click (also owner/guest function) and all other information like phone number, e-mail address, country, etc.

Whenever you create a block, Mews makes a "virtual rate code"
Whenever you create a block, Mews makes a "virtual rate code" for the group block. This becomes a nightmare when collecting rate code data from Mews API. Especially when ONLY American English is auto-generated for short name. Default language is based on user, not property so if one user has something else than American English, then the rate code name in database becomes blank. it should auto generate in american english short name no matter what language user uses.

Data storing
Mews only stores data for 3 months, which is too short. If issues happen, they are usually way past 3 months. For example, guest emails, pricing etc.
It is beneficial for hotels to access all email history per guest, 6-9 months at least. The same goes for pricing; looking into reports back in time makes no sense, and you can not get a correct average price for the past on a day-to-day basis as well as per whole month.
So, please do increase data storing to a few more months.

Set accounting categories as inactive
We see the need for being able to set accounting categories as inactive. As for today, they must be marked as "do not use" or similar to avoid linking them to products etc. This causes issues for the ERP systems.
We can't delete these categories entirely because they may be linked to past transactions and need to be kept for auditing and historical purposes.

Every day, we need to set all rooms to “Inspected” status.However, this takes a lot of time because we currently have to update each room one by one.
Would it be possible to add an icon or a button that allows us to set all hotel rooms to “Inspected” with a single click?

More Features and Information in the Timeline
n our previous system, HS/3 (Germany), there were extensive functions and direct information available in the occupancy plan, which corresponds to the timeline in MEWS.
- Reservations could be extended or shortened directly in the timeline, and travel dates could be changed by moving the reservation horizontally.
- It was possible to see directly how many people occupied a room without selecting or clicking on a booking.
- Important guest and reservation details were displayed simply by hovering the mouse over different bookings, especially the phone number.
- It would be helpful if reservations could also be downgraded, perhaps with a pop-up warning when…

More granular search when moving bill items to another company profile
When moving items to a new bill, it will be great if we could have more options to filter the bills. For example, now, if we were to choose "Another Company" it will show all bills open on that company profile. But when we have hundreds of bills open (especially when created through billing automations), it is very hard to know which one is which. Ability to filter with the associated profile would be very useful.

Invoice Line Grouping for Packages
It would be great if invoices could combine the room stay and related package items into a single line when they are linked to the same date.
For example, for a “Bed & Breakfast” package, the accommodation and breakfast charges would appear grouped together on the invoice instead of being separated into different lines.
This functionality was previously available in Hotello and made invoices much clearer and easier to read for guests.

Flag late arrival to prevent automatic no-show cancellation
When automatic no‑show cancellation is enabled, Mews currently cancels all no‑shows at 6:00 am on the day after arrival. This works well in most cases, but creates challenges for guests who have communicated a late arrival.
Request:
Add a simple “Late Arrival” flag on a reservation that can be set by front desk agents without checking the guest in.If a reservation is flagged as Late Arrival:
- It should not be automatically cancelled as a no‑show
- The reservation remains active until the guest arrives or is manually handled by staff

Email product checklist
As a small hotel, we don’t always place product orders every day. As a result, we sometimes forget to check the product checklist. We would like the ability to receive a daily email at a configurable time (ex. 7 p.m. the day before) with the product checklist included directly in the body of the email. This would eliminate the need for multiple clicks to access the checklist and reduce the risk of missing product orders.

Multi-department allocation for Mews products
Currently, a product like breakfast (€20) is fully assigned to a single revenue center (“Breakfast”).
💡 Proposal: allow automatic allocation of revenue across multiple centers, either by fixed amount or percentage (e.g., €5 beverages + €15 food).
This would provide more accurate reporting, a true analytical view, and reduce manual adjustments.Note: Breakfast is just an example. This approach could be applied to many products and services across Mews PMS, POS & EMS.

Tasks: 'In progress' status
Currently, tasks in Mews can only be marked with a deadline and then completed. However, it would be very helpful to have an additional status — such as “In Progress” — to indicate when someone has already started working on a task.
This would greatly improve team communication and coordination, especially in situations where multiple users might otherwise pick up the same task or wonder whether it’s already being handled.
Having a clear task lifecycle (e.g. To Do → In Progress → Done) would provide more visibility and reduce confusion.

When rebated a bill the reopen as a new bill is not an option after that.
The 'Rebate' function is currently causing issues in our customer communication and accounting. When a bill is rebated, we are unable to reissue it as an open bill, which is problematic for several reasons:
Customer Experience: We often do not want to send a credit note or proof of a rebate to the customer—for example, if we are simply correcting an internal error or removing a product. Providing a new receipt showing a rebate is confusing and lacks logical UX.

Nested space availability logic failing to account for multi-night gaps
When nested spaces and standalone spaces share the same physical inventory and is part of the same space category, their availability is linked. The system
