Option to sort (separate) bills in the 'billing' tab on date
For travel agencies and company guests with routing rules, it is very difficult to quickly identify the date of the reservation . It would be much more useful and convenient if we could have the arrival date displayed at the top of the bill. so there is no need to click on each booking to see the specific date.

Price adjustments of products with date (until... / from.... price)
It would be helpful to be able to work with a date when adjusting the price of products, e.g. City Taxe valid until date xx.xx.xxxx CHF.... from date xx.xx.xxxx CHF ... valid. City taxes are legal requirements that can change from time to time.

Switch in the bill between associated profile and owner
In the billing it would be great to have an arrow for switching between the owner and the associated profile.

Master/Mother Company
We would like to be able to mark a Mother Company as a Mother Company, to be able to sort and search only for Mother Companys.
This Mother Company should not be treated as a regular Company Account, as it is a Master which combines the regular Companys.
Further we need to be able to differentiate between Mother Companys and regular Companys not only in Mews, but in the API as well.25 votes -
Timeline: Introducing Colour-Coding for Key Booking Insights
Dear MEWS Team,
I would like to share a suggestion regarding the Timeline view, which has a huge yet unexpressed potential.
While visually clean, it does not leverage one of the most powerful tools for operational efficiency: colour-coding.
Color can instantly convey information that, otherwise, requires opening each booking or navigating multiple sections. Introducing colour indicators directly on the Timeline could transform it into a true operational dashboard, providing immediate, high-impact insights for the front office and reservations teams.
Here are some examples of what colour-coding could highlight:
• Payment Status (e.g., prepaid, pending, partially paid, failed)

SKIP Rates restrictions
Sería de gran ayuda un permiso de Usuario que permita saltar restricciones de tarifas a la hora de introducir reservas.
En nuestro caso trabajamos con tarifas que están limitadas por mínimas y máximas estancias de x noches. Y en ocasiones tenemos que hacer excepciones para prolongaciones de clientes.
Así que nos vemos obligados a quitar la restricción para poder introducir la reserva, y volver a ponerla.
Esto se solucionaría con un permiso para saltar restricciones.

"Catégorie d'espace"
Nous sommes une pourvoirie et nos locations sont pour des chalets, des terrains de camping, des tentes prêt-à-camper et des embarcations nautiques. Le problème est qu'il n'y a pas de "catégorie d'espace" pour les embarcations nautiques, il y en a une seulement pour les vélo. Même chose pour nos chalets ou il n'y a pas ce choix.
Plusieurs clients nous contactent pour s'assurer que se sont bien des chaloupe à moteur que nous louons et non des vélos.

Newsletter as a email template
Smaller hotels in our chain would like to be able to send newsletters to specific groups of guests, and having a mail template to adjust between seasons and campaign would be a simple way to handle this locally at the hotel.

Export Group Allotment / Pick-Up Report
It would be great to be able to export the group allotment chart to show clients their group block pick-up. Copy and pasting the data from the Dashboard does not paste properly in Excel, Numbers, or any other app (Pages, Outlook, etc)

Link task to allotment block
It would be nice to be able to link task directly to the allotment block. It would be easier to locate the block already before any rooms have been picked up. We have several users handling the blocks and making adjustments to the room account, so this would help a lot.

Move a guest from a higher category to a lower category in the planning view
Currently, it is not possible to move a guest from a higher category to a lower category in the planning view. This restriction is particularly problematic when working with groups for whom the room type is irrelevant. Each time, you have to go to the reservation in question to make the change. This is a waste of time for us.
This restriction would be implemented to avoid making mistakes. But why not simply display a warning message, but still leave this option open?

Restrictions consider departure date
Currently restrictions only consider the arrival date and not the departure date.
This means that if I want only allow bookings at my property from today - 365 days from now, setting the below restriction is not enough to close out the property from day 366 onwards. This restriction will allow a reservation to start on day 1 - 364 and end any day afterwards.
Restriction type: Closed to Stay/Arrival/Departure

Faster way to change rooms status to Inspected
Faster way to change rooms status to Inspected
It would be great to be able to batch-update the status of rooms, this way I can select all rooms that have been cleaned and inspected and update them in just one click. It could be like the checkout feature that allows you to batch check out.

TIP as category
It should be possible to book TIP or expenses.
Currently, Mews does not recognise this booking type, which means that we have to calculate everything manually and book via detours. This harbours great potential for error.Expense postings must be deducted directly from the cash register contents.

To receive unassigned space notification
It will be very helpful if we can receive an automatic notification when a reservation is not assigned to any space and requires the front desk agent to tetris reservations to fit in the spaces.

Flexible Room Sorting
Currently, the way room numbers are sorted in Mews is fixed and there is no way to change it quickly. It would be helpful to be able to sort rooms numerically, alphabetically or by floor and to allow for quick changes between these displays for different workflows.

Cancel all products when reservation is cancelled
When adding a product to an open bill, even though the product is linked to the reservation, if the reservation is canceleld the productstays charged. Any product that is linked to a reservation, wether it is a bookable product or not should be cancelled automatically when the reservation is cancelled.
