  1. Give also an option to add product rules on Travel Agency level. Due contract or other reasons we need to apply some rules to specific Travel Agency which could not be distinguished by creating a separate rate plan. With this option even a rate plan is shared or booked by multiple Travel Agencies but a product will only be added to that specific Travel Agency.

  2. For confirmed bookings we can set up a default send/do not send for confirmations. Quotations for optional bookings are currently send by default, we would like to adjust the default setting to do not send.

  3. It would be useful if you could also activate or deactivate the "Includes detailed invoice items" option for a bookable service when creating an invoice, without having to jump into the depths of the financial settings.

  4. Under the Items tab in a reservation where products can be added, such as Pet-friendly room, extra bed etc. ( Products of course depends on your local set-up of products), certain products require a date of consumption. A button or checkbox for such one time items/products that links date of consumption to check in time would be really handy!

  5. We are missing the feature in reservations to quickly see payment method.
    We would like to request an option or tick-box with:

    Payment type:
    1. Upon arrival by cash or card.
    2. Roomnight, breakfast and citytax on account.
    3. All costs on account.
    4. Package via voucher, citytax and extra’s upon departure by cash or card.

    It is intended for check-in and for on the confirmation to the guest.
    We have a lot of business guests during the week, some need to pay themselves and some go on account to the company.

    With check-in the receptionist should with a glance…

  6. It would be great to be able to reorder product lists (and other lists) in Services by drag and drop.
    Now, if you need to reorder a list of products, you have to go into each product and give it a number from 0+
    It is time consuming and overly complicated.

  7. If occupancy is DROP DOWN (less than / greater than) the following percentage: DROP DOWN (5%, 10%, 15% etc) Then price DROP DOWN (increases / decreases) for MULTIPLE CHOICE (Room types) by the following SELECT (nominal value / percentage) enter value: TEXT BOX.

    If time before start date is DROP DOWN (less than / greater than) the following TEXT BOX (Days, Hours). Then price DROP DOWN (increases / decreases) for MULTIPLE CHOICE (Room types) by the following SELECT (nominal value / percentage) enter value: TEXT BOX.

  8. It should be possible to change the order of the accounting category classifications on the manager report. For the moment it is in alphabetical order, which might make sense in english (as accommodation starts with an a), but is not satisfying in german (as Unterkunft starts with a U).

  9. Availability blocks currently only allow the option to enter 1 specific rate for a block. Since we operate with different rates based on roomtypes, and a group often combines roomtypes, it would be great being able to select multiple rates.
    Also offering a group to book online with a discount based on public rates, it would be good to be able to offer them both a discounted flexible rate and a discounted non-refundable rate.

  10. Once you have created a rate, you should be able to amend it and link it to a base rate. If you have already mapped it on your channel manager, you do not wish to delete it and restart, you just want to now link it to a base rate or change the base rate link

  11. The new Mews B2B Sales invoice header/footer design requires significant amounts of toner when printing. Can this design please be reconsidered?

  12. For reporting purposes and data analysis, it would be good to have the possibility to chose whether or not we want to incl/excl OOO rooms. At the moment, MEWS deducts this automatically

  13. We need to be able to create multiple confirmations regarding, example: a confirmation for group reservations with other conditions than a reservation for only one room. This is a highly requested feature for the ability to send correct conditions regarding the reservations!

  14. When setting a task, everything needs to be typed, whereas a lot of time could be saved if the hotel could customise a list of templates to use.

    For example, 'Deliver Amenity' or 'Unzip Beds'. Quick little things like these!

  15. Currently the Reservations Report Arrival screen can be viewed. Many properties print this report to view any actionable items or notes. Currently, Mew has an export but the data has all the reservation information including address, credit card details, etc... that is not needed. Just need the ability to view/print on PDF basic guest arrival information especially notes that fit on a page.

    These reports are not just backup reports, but used every day by the front desk team and are printed/viewed upon demand.

  16. It would be awesome to be able to rebate a discount and not the whole product. Or to correct the price for example when we invoiced a wrong rate for the night

  17. When creating a reservation the option "In Person" is too limited for us. We have quite a high number of reservations that are made at the desk for a future stay. Therefore we cannot see the difference between reservations made in advance and "Walk-Ins".

    Here an extra option: Walk-In would provide extra reporting and analysis opportunities.

  18. It would be good if we could assign room credits for rooms to help the assignment process. Example, smaller rooms would get .75, standard rooms 1.0 and suites 1.5. Thereby, if each housekeeper could clean 12 credits daily, the system could calculate each room by value and assign accordingly. Additionally, stayovers would receive .25 credit against assignment as they take only 20 minutes to touchup versus a full clean would receive +.25 as they take longer to clean as determined by the property. Using this method would improve productivity and room assignment.

  19. Dear Mews team,
    We would be happy if we could easily adjust or overwrite the billing address on the invoice without having to post the invoice back and create a complete fake invoice so that it can be adjusted. We only want to adjust the letterhead and not the payment method or the amount. In this way, we could also avoid errors that can arise from reversing the invoice and it is also clearer for the accounting department if there are not still 20 fake invoices.

  20. By now, Mews restrictions do not allow to set a specific day of the week you want to exclude. If you wish to make a % discount on Sunday night for example, you will have to close all other days on your restriction but travelers will not be able to book several nights including Sunday night. Very bad if you are looking to maximize length of stay and want to compensate those staying on Sunday.
    Mews team, please keep improving restrictions to allow us to combine various setups, it is so important! Thanks
