  2. Turn off the "New device sign in" emails.
    They do not work and causes about 20-30 tickets to our support each day.
    Some users get these emails several times a day.
    It's a nuisance.

  4. It should be possible to change the room category of a reservation from a block without changing the block. It is critical that for example the Front Desk are able to change room type(by changing the room number), or upgrade easily from the reservation without changing the availability block. This used to be possible, so please bring it back.

  5. It will be great if we can have an accounting report sort by room type, in order to compare the revenues separatly. Otherwise maybe habve the opportunatly to export to excel the accounting report with the room number or room type.

  6. Being able to change the arrival time and departure time on bookings that are staying on different dates without having to change the actual date.
    With other words, arrival and departure times are independent from the dates.

  7. In the user management section, it would be nice to simply deactivate or reactivate user profiles. Sometimes users work for seasons and leave the company for a few months between seasons. Currently, if you want to stop the access to Mews, you have either to remove the rights of the user or you have to delete the profile and recreate a new profile when the user comes back. When you try to remove the rights, if will not work if the user has created export schedules. The only person who can remove the export schedules is the user himself. It…

  8. I wish to be able to have a locked view setting / ghost view when assigning in the morning. This to to let employees see too soon what floors/section they are on.

    Reasons: It could cause unneccisarry stress, we might need to change and they like to plan before work. As employees can use the app in their private phones, they are able to start processing when they shouldn't. And its a help for them to not work, before work. Even thouh we start assigning 1-2h before actual start for all employees.

  12. I think it would be very helpful to have the option to set customizable (per house, per user) templates for reports.

    In general I appreciate the flexibility in creating a report such as the reservation report.
    But if there is a report that is needed regularly, it can be a bit exhausting to everytime set all filters.
    To set up the scheduled exports is a solution only in case there is a fixed schedule. If we could have the option to select a template that would adjust the filters a certain way, this would be more than helpful and time…

  13. As much as I appreciate the horizontal scrolling functionality and the monthly view, both options fall short when it comes to getting an overview of the booking situation for a few weeks.

    I would like to push the option of reducing the column width when looking at a daily timeline.

    That way we could get a better look at the day by day booking situation for more than a week.
    Considering already having the option to chose between a "default", "comfortable" and "compact" display of the row hights, using the same logic to reduce the column width is just logic…

  14. It would be good that the bills that are in the Company Profile billing showed whether the reservation is 'Past', 'Future' or 'Checked in' so it is easier to issue invoices to big OTA providers like AirBnb, which have many bookings assigned at the same time. Currently you have to open and check every single bill.

    This could show the same way the 'Items: 1' tab does.

Groups that are currently taking inventory and are contracted but do not have reservations picked up yet, are not being counted as "Sold Rooms" nor is the contracted revenue being accounted for anywhere. The Availability and Occupancy Report shows the group rooms under Confirmed or Optional but ultimately still shows that group inventory under "Free Spaces". Would be useful to see total expected group revenue per group, and for that revenue to be accounted for in the Manager Report.

  19. Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!

  20. According to STR guidelines, no-show revenue should be included in room revenue when other cancellation revenue not.

    Cancellation fee has different VAT in the Netherlands than no-show (no show is 9% when cancellation fee is 0%).

    9% is hard coded in mews and therefore impossible to separate (using automatic posting)
