Add "send marketing postal mail" to import
Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.
Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

Having a function that lets you split a group
Having a function that lets you split a group or move a reservation from one group to another. This would be a tremendous help if f.ex. you add a reservation to a wrong group and have to move it to another group, if you need to "pick up" reservations from one group and make a new group.
Now you have to cancel the reservations in original group and make a new one, which can be very time consuming.12 votes -
Departing tag
Keep the old system in the app where tags like "departing" is always showing on the rooms. This way you don't have to use the filter.

Choosing age categories per rate group or product
It would be much needed to have an option to choose which age category to link to rate groups and products. Now we are forced to sell 0€ products and also package rates for children, even though they are not available for children. Very handy for booking engine and less confusion to end customer.

Es wäre toll, wenn man bei der wirklich super einfachen Buchungseingabe noch irgendwo die Möglichkeit hätte, eine kurze Notiz für den Gast hinzuzufügen. Wie zB.: Zimmer im Erdgeschoss oder Allergiker-Bettwäsche oder späte Anreise... Der Chat funktioniert ja zunächst nur von der Gastseite aus... Wenn bei uns ein Gast ein Zimmer im parterre oder barrierefrei wünscht, ist es nicht immer eine eigene Kategorie und es wäre hilfreich, auf ein vorheriges Telefonat oder einen Emailaustausch eingehen zu können. Also eine Art "Notizfeld"...

Derived rates mark up
When you have derived (dependent) rates, it would be good if you can add different adjustments per room type.
For example to have 10% higher for a Single room, 15% higher for a Twin room, and so on. At the moment it is only possible to make absolute adjustments with same percentage/amount for all the room types.2 votes -
Timeline layout
In the timeline, there is no neat separation between different room types leading to mistakes when moving around reservations. It would be helpful to have a gap in between or a thicker line to make the separation more clear.

Exact Search Filter (Global Search)
When using the search bar for reservation 123 Mews often displays too many results as it includes anything with 1 , 2 , or 3. Recently had to search for confirmation 61 and the list of matching results was too long. Should be able to filter exact search therefore returns one match as the reservation is a unique number.

cancellation fee - automatic posting
When a cancellation fee is automatically posted on the guest bill due to late cancellation or no show, Mews takes into account the amount of the accommodation charge and all products (breakfast and city tax) together. In case of payment by booking.com virtual credit card, booking only allows us to charge the vcc for the accommodation and breakfast but never the city tax as it is always pay by the guest at the hotel. Is it therefore possibe to develop a functionnality in Mews that allows us to exclude the city tax product from the cancellation fee ? Example: accommodation…

Upgrade or change room category without changing block
It should be possible to change the room category of a reservation from a block without changing the block. It is critical that for example the Front Desk are able to change room type(by changing the room number), or upgrade easily from the reservation without changing the availability block. This used to be possible, so please bring it back.

I have been attempting to limit the access front of office employees have to financial data or payment information which is both sensitive to the business and confidential. MEWS have informed me there is no way in preventing any employee who has access to changing housekeeping status to also view the financials of the business.
Please could I have some help or if anyone else is finding this as an issue. While creating different roles and users I tested this ability to view all financial information. Therefore, any user with housekeeping privilages can view any information within ‘Finance’ on the…

Billing Address Format
Currently, the Associated profile's address is visibly compacted on the bill > we believe it is to save space on the header and is presented as follow:
Adress: Address line 1, Adress Line 2
City, Postal Code, CountryHowever, it would be preferable to keep the "standard billing format" just perhaps make it appear smaller. And, perhaps it can also occupy a bigger space when the customer address is not completed so the standard below is not lost.
Furthermore, the standard billing formatting should be as noted below:

Availability Block All Rooms
We are a small events venue with 22 guest rooms. When we get a wedding room block it is almost always for all rooms on property. When setting up a block, we add all 22 room categories one by one. We would really love it if there was a bulk add option all space categories to the block. Also helpful if there was a way to then allocate all available rooms in a category and not click on each category to adjust the number of spaces held.

New resource type to be supported: bike
With the recent release of hourly reservations, we have noticed an increase in demand from customers who want to manage their bikes on Mews. As Mews currently does not support “bike” resource type, they often use workarounds.
Would you like bikes to be added to the list of supported types? Let us know!

Optional bookings
Optional reservations should not be confirmable without adding a credit card as guarantee, Big corporations cannot have control of reservations that the clients were able to confirm without a credit card as guarantee this can cause lots of no shows and issues.

Cancellation date filter for posting journal
We really enjoy the ability to cancel products from billing and cancel orders from the guest dashboard, but there currently doesn't exist a way to audit cancelled products/items by cancellation date. We are able to filter by creation date of the product, but that makes it hard to track items created several months ago that may have been cancelled in the last week, for example.
