  1. We should be able to filter rate codes as expired to not take up space in the rate code screen, but activate them again if needed. This way the system can stay clean and tidy. Especially since you don't have a search feature.

  2. Create a seperate option to choose charge card online and terminal payments as user rights.
    E.g. our front office should only charge via the terminal and not cards via MEWS.

  3. When searching for merge of Customer profiles, is it possible to add a filter, so that similar profiles with existing profiles at the hotel (reservation +1) to be shown on the list? Instead of only the name and email ?
    For exp Daniel Andersen (Reservation +1) and possible email ?
    This would make the merging of customer profiles a bit quicker !

  4. Proposal: Customize Stayover Room Cleaning Status Automation

    Currently, stayover rooms are automatically set to “dirty” or “uninspected” after one night. This default behavior creates unnecessary confusion for the housekeeping team and results in inefficient workflows.

    Key Issues:

    Unnecessary Cleaning:
    The system automatically changes every stayover room’s status to “dirty” or “uninspected,” which can lead to cleaning being performed even when the guest has not requested it.

    Inefficient Workflow:
    Housekeeping staff must spend extra time identifying which rooms require cleaning since all rooms are flagged automatically, without considering whether they are truly in need of service.

  5. As a hotel that operates fully digitally with self check-in and digital keys, we’ve occasionally encountered cases where a guest was accidentally checked in on Mews, even though their reservation balance hadn’t been paid.

    To avoid such situations, it would be great to have a restriction option that prevents Mews users from checking in guests until their outstanding balance is settled.

    Ideally, this restriction could be configurable, allowing exceptions for certain segments, such as corporate or group bookings that have agreements to pay after the stay.

  6. We would like to be able to set priorities for multiple Cancellation policies within the same Rate group. For example if the rate group has 30 days cancellation policy, but also needs to apply free cancellation within 24hr after confirmation, if the booking was made less that 30 days prior to arrival, 24 hr free cacellation should kick in first and exclude 30 days cancellation policy.

Hinsichtlich verschiedener Mehrwertsteuersätze sollte es möglich sein, 1 "Oberprodukt" aus mehreren "Unterprodukten" zusammensetzen zu können, da sonst alles einzeln manuell gebucht werden müsste, wenn man keine gesonderte Paketrate dazu erstellt. Beim Online-Check in ist bei einer erneuten Mehrwertsteueränderung keine nachträgliche z.B. Frühstücksbuchung bei Room Only Raten möglich.

  8. Es wäre sinnvoll und einfacher, wenn man direkt vom Reservierungsbutton aus auch eine Gruppenreservierung / einen Gruppenblock anlegen kann. Der Umweg über den "Verfügbarkeits Blöcke" Bericvht ist sehr umständlich. Auch sollte man den Gruppenblick in der Verfügbarkeitsübersicht sehen können. Zusätzlich sollten Reservierungen die zu einer Gruppen gehören einfach erkennbar sein in der Zeitachse bzw bei den Anreisen, also ohne, dass man in jede Buchung klicken muss und schauen muss, ob diese zu einer Gruppe gehört. Eine Filterung der Anreisen nach Gruppe wäre ebenfalls sinnvoll.

  10. The relevant department is currently not displayed in the task list within the reservation. So if I want to know who the task is written for, I have to open it individually.
    It would be nicer if there was a column for the department in the overview.

  11. When products are added because of a package, thus added through a product rule with a rate or rate group as condition, when changing that Rate also the products should be removed.

  12. Praktisch wäre es, wenn man in der Zeitachse eine Buchung auswählt, dass man per Doppelklick die Buchung direkt öffnet. So wähle ich die Buchung aus und gehe dann rechts unten auf "Bearbeiten". Sollte man nicht bearbeiten wollen sondern nur die Anzeige oder "Drucken" oder "Einchecken", kann man dies ja immer noch per einfachem Klick und dann rechts die gewünschte Aktion auswählen. Erspart ein wenig Zeit.

  15. We are looking to develop booking engines that integrate directly with Mews, allowing us to verify restaurant availability before accepting bookings. This system will enable guests to submit booking inquiries, such as a room night with dinner on a specific date, leaving details, but, without immediate payment.

    Once these inquiries are received, we can confirm restaurant availability and finalize the booking or suggest alternative dates. This improves efficiency by reducing the need for manual input from emails and enhances guest data management.

    Our current setup with Formitable/Zenchef does not sync with Mews, which complicates the booking process. This new engine…

    We would like to suggest an enhancement to Mews functionality: the ability to configure multiple sets of Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and assign them to individual products or services. Currently, a single general set of T&Cs is applied across all bookings, which often falls short in catering to the diverse requirements of specific offerings.

  18. Problem: When posting Bookable service items for the entire posting period, users can’t set a custom price and must edit each day individually, which is slow and error prone.

    Request: Allow entering a single unit price or a total amount at posting time for Bookable service items; the system applies or distributes it across all days. Add a one click bulk edit to update the price of all already posted daily items in a period at once

    Enable automatic updates of product prices for existing reservations, with an option to offset package-inclusive stay services to maintain the originally agreed daily package rates.

    Background / Problem

    Currently, price changes apply only to future reservations. Existing reservations remain locked at the old product prices, which:

    Causes revenue leakage when product costs rise.

    Requires manual corrections by staff, leading to inefficiency and errors.

    Creates package inconsistency: updating the product price increases the overall daily package rate, which conflicts with guest-confirmed agreements.

  20. It should be possible to remove a guest from a group.
    Cancelation and rebooking is not a logical process. The canceled booking stays forever in the group, doesn´t it?
