  1. Es wäre von Vorteil den Button zum Check-out (zusätzlich) auf der Seite zu finden, welche sich nach dem Schließen einer Rechnung öffnet. So spart man sich das ganze "zurück Klicken" bis man unter dem Status-Fenster den Gast auschecken kann.
    Das würde den Check-out Prozess schneller und einfacher machen.

  2. We need a way to notate guest allergies in their profiles and pull reports. At minimum, we need a way to be able to pull a PRINTABLE report that includes reservation notes, where we are currently noting allergies for our kitchen and housekeeping staff. This is vital to operations for our property and for our kitchen specifically. Our chef currently has no way to efficiently and effectively pull guest food allergies directly from Mews when he is writing the breakfast menu. We are forced to use a separate system which, naturally, causes food allergies to occasionally fall through the cracks…

  4. Can you make new "last minute" arrivals for today more visible on the arrivals list?

    • Arrivals made between yesterday 00:00 and today are not easy to see unless you check the reservation report, which is not user friendly in a fast pace environment.
    • Can they be marked in the system with a symbol or color or notification (or in any other way) for us to be notified on the day?

  5. there are too many clicks considering how often we do this and having to go back to click check out after sending an invoice is super annoying and can often mean forgetting. Also please make the check out button another color, it would help more than you can imagine!

  6. We have a bunch of big groups coming which all have the same task set up, for different departments (e.g. housekeeping and reception). It would be great to be able to make the same task once for the whole group, instead of doing 30-40 tasks individually. The same would go for if we need to make the same task for multiply departments, it would make it easier to just choose the corresponding departments.

  7. Es wäre hilfreich wenn Sich die Personenanzahl Tagesweise individuell anpassen lassen würde. Somit ist gegeben, dass die Personenanzahl im Haus immer Stimmt und Produkte sich automatisch anpassen. Gerade bei Kurabgabe und Frühstück ist dies entscheiden.

  10. It should be possible to book TIP or expenses.
    Currently, Mews does not recognise this booking type, which means that we have to calculate everything manually and book via detours. This harbours great potential for error.

    Expense postings must be deducted directly from the cash register contents.
    Expenses should therefore not appear in the sales figures.

  11. Currently, when sending an invoice/bill via email for a company owned bill only the company’s invoicing email is automatically suggested as a recipient. However, most of the time the guest (associate profile) should receive the bill as they have to file it with their travel management to get reimbursed.
    Hence, the email of the guest needs to be retrieved manually each time from the guest profile and copied back into the send bill/invoice form. This delays the checkout process unnecessarily!
    Suggestion: automatically suggest the associated profile’s email as a potential recipient in addition to the bill owner’s email when sending…

  12. Currently, it’s not possible to change the rate of an availability block once it’s created. To make any adjustments, the block would need to be deleted and a new one created.

    It would be very helpful to have the option to modify the rate directly without having to delete and recreate the block.:)

    We highly value the flexibility and efficiency Mews provides in managing our daily operations. However, we would like to suggest an improvement to further enhance security and accountability within the platform, particularly concerning refunds.

    Currently, refund permissions in Mews are not granular enough to allow businesses to effectively control the maximum refund amounts that can be processed by various team members. This presents challenges in maintaining financial oversight and ensuring that only authorized personnel handle larger refunds.

  14. Hello, we would like to have the feature of automatic logout/lock session after employee inactivity. For example, if there is no interaction on the screen for 60 seconds, the “lock session” should be automatically enforced for the employee.

  17. It would be great if we could receive a no-show report, either as an xml attachment in an email, or a pdf report through email.

    Currently the only way to check no-shows is on the day itself and there's no way to really gather statistics from this unless you keep track yourself.

  18. Ich hätte gerne die Möglichkeit, einer Rate nur ein gewisses Kontingent zuzuordnen.

    Ich habe eine Frühbucher-Rate, möchte diese aber nur für eine begrenzte Anzahl an Zimmern buchbar machen.

    Wir arbeiten mit DIRS als Channelmanager, da konnte ich das als Regel einstellen (schließe diese Rate, wenn weniger als x Zimmer verfügbar sind).

    Sinnvoll wäre es, dies unter den Restriktionen einzutragen.

    Würde mich sehr freuen, wenn dies realisiert würde.

  19. It would be helpful to select multiple room categories within the availability & occupancy report.
    At the moment it is only possible to select all or one room category. If you like to check on the availability of only a few space categories you have to search the whole list.
