Housekeeping requests
Hi I believe a report that shows all traces by room number would be very helpful for our daily operations. We have plenty of HSKneeds for individual rooms and we need a report that has all the information by room number. E.g. room 205 is allergic to feather, room 206 wants romantic turndown service and room 320 wants service everyday at noon.
A report that contains guests name, arrival/departure dates and all necessary information described above would help a lot. It would nice to be able to print it for a range of rooms too so that you can give…

Automatic check-in only for those guests who completed the online check-in
Would it be possible to make a difference between guests, who completed the online check-in and all others. At the moment you have to choose between checking in all guests automatically or none.

refund reason as internal note
Making a refund in Mews is easy and quick, however, when leaving notes as reason for refund, internal information that mean to be shared only with staff, it shows on the bills or invoice, leaving a very unprofessional image. Guests should not see what we write as notes.

INTRODUCE RATE CATEGORIES
I need to manage my rates based on their net value to us, eh close out "cheap rates" when we reach a certain occupancy (promotions, special contracted rates etc). I need the ability to close out by rate category which at the moment is only possible if the rate has a different cancellation policy. I need this daily so would be an urgent feature for me and many revenue managers who manage a lot of rates and cant rally close out by rate code.

Task expiry to cause a notification
As there may be many tasks created for your property, they can be difficult to keep track of when managing many aspects of your operations. For this reason, passing task deadlines should generate a notification for the task creator or any department members to which the task is assigned. After being sent, these pending notifications would only be dismissed when the task is fully completed. This implemented feature could help all members of your team stay more on schedule and would encourage task completion in line with all assigned deadlines.

Age Categories
We really appreciate if there will be possibility to specify age categories to two decimal places (e.g. babies 0-2.99, childrens 3-11.99). These logic is used by lots of OTA´s and we would like to set up our WBE by the same principal to be able to offer the same prices to our guest.

Visible addresses when merging companies
It would be useful if you could also see the address when merging the companies and travel agencies. Often there are branches that only differ in their address. This is not apparent from the current comparison.
Ideally, I could also decide right here whether the address should be transferred. This would avoid the subsequent deletion action because both addresses are currently transferred.

Make new company profiles available quickly - prevent delays in checkout process
When creating a new profile to associate with a bill or to issue the bill on the company during check out it takes very long for a new company profile to be available for selection as company owner or associated profile. Sometimes it takes several minutes for the company profile to become available in the input fields!!!
This is unacceptable for most guests and unnecessarily prolongs and delays the checkout process.24 votes -

Dear Mews forum managers,
I've been on the forum for a while now and have a few suggestions for improvements.
It would be nice if:
*the results could be filtered according to completed, rejected, open. at the moment you have to fight your way through various articles that make no sense to read
*if you could also filter the search, e.g. all words must be included etc.
*if your entries were moderated so that similar ideas were grouped together
*if there was feedback on entries that have really received a lot of votes and yet are obviously not implemented

Show departments in the task list
The relevant department is currently not displayed in the task list within the reservation. So if I want to know who the task is written for, I have to open it individually.

Enable Price Rounding
We request the functionality to round reservation prices to whole numbers in our booking system.
This adjustment is crucial for maintaining the upscale image of our 4 and 5-star hotels, as current pricing often results in decimals.
Implementing whole number pricing will simplify transactions and enhance the premium perception of our rates.

To use the Mews system for messaging TO clients so that reservations and communications with clients are all on the same system.
I am looking to use the Mews system to write messages to guests using the email addresses of guests that are logged in to the Mews system. Although I have Admin Rights I can't set up messaging to individual guests. Wanted to do this to communicate around cancellation arrangements for example which is something of a major current task.

Scheduling out of service and out of order rooms (room management)
At the moment you're not able to schedule a future out of service (still selling) room, while you can schedule a out of order (no longer selling) room. I would need to be able to schedule out of service as well. For example in situations where we have maintenance go into the room and the reception and the housekeeping staff shouldn't use the room, but we still want to sell the room as it will be done same day.

Display rates per night when creating a new reservation
Problem: When walk-ins asking for a breakdown of the rates per night we are not able to see this. We can only see the total price of the stay.
