  1. Right now in Rate Management screen, properties are able to see Occupancy in percentage. By implementing this idea, the number of available spaces will be displayed on the same screen.

  2. In addition to fixed price adjustment, many properties would prefer to use a relative adjustment field, which would be used to adjust prices based on extra or empty beds. This setting could allow revenue managers more flexibility as they decide on pricing for each space or space category, particularly in case the number of guests does not exactly match the number of beds in the chosen space type.

  3. At the moment you are unable to see the specific group that has remaining rooms that have not been picked up, instead you see all the groups with blocks during the specified dates.
    With that you need to go into each of the groups to check which ones still have rooms that have not been picked up nor released.

  4. It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.

    The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
    It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.

  5. When changing the dates of a reservation, in my opinion, there is a step missing where Mews confirms if there is availability for the same type of room and informs the new price (to be accepted or not).

  6. When restrictions are in place (for example: minimal stay 2 nights) the internal user CANNOT see the rate on those given days. In fact when restrictions are in place the hotelier cannot see any of the rates. So when there is a WALK IN or a request the hotelier is flying blind. Therefore: even when restrictions are in place there should be an option that hoteliers or certain users can still see the rates of that day.

  7. At this moment we can not check how many baby beds + extra single beds are already booked and we would love to see this in the time line view so we can see this quickly.

  11. Mews should accurately allocate the price across different age categories. For instance, if a reservation includes products with child pricing, Mews should distribute the total cost based on child pricing and not just equally. For example, if the total price is 67.5 and the reservation has 2 adults and 1 child, the distribution should be 27 (adult price) multiplied by 2 (adults) and 13.5 (child price) multiplied by 1 (child).

  12. Currently, after a guest associated with a group block checks in and wants to be moved to a different room type, we have to adjust or add the room type to the block. This is a few added steps for the FD and reservations. I suggest that when the availability block is released then the guest reservations are available to actual inventory opposed to that within the block.

  13. Add a field onto the reservation to enter a free format travel agent voucher number issued for billing purposes and to be able to print this voucher number onto the guest bill. This as we need to issue invoices for TMC's that include the voucher number to be approved for payments.

    We electronically transfer the data via the API for all these invoiced bill directly to the TMC's for them to electronically process via their OCR system to issue payments. Using billing notes, users to tend to add additional information causing the process to fail.

  14. Option to minimalize a reservation (for example keep it in the right bottom of the timeline). It could allow you to continue with other tasks and than later on get back to the reservation/booking that you were working on. It could also be a reminder for yourself that you need to follow up on that certain reservation.

  15. If we make an optional reservation for our guests and send them our offer. The guests confirm the reservations through the link but the responsible employee/department do not get any information or notification, so it is problematic to keep track of these bookings. It would be great to get atleast a pop up notification if the guests confirm there reservations. This information is essential for internal planning for almost every property.

  16. If I am only to have certain roomtypes available for a ratecode or for a voucher, I currently need to place "close restriction" one by one on every roomtype that should not be sold for this specific rate/voucher. IF you could define what roomtypes a particular rate or voucher should be valid for, you would not need to make all these close restrictions.

  17. At the moment there are only set intervals for scheduled reports. Ability to set your own date parameters will eliminate the need to manually run reports on daily basis.

  19. Mews does not provide the number of check-ins completed using the Mews Operator, In the reservations tile on the Mews dashboard a number of statistics are displayed in a widget. It would beneficial to add the number of Operator / kiosk check-ins to this widget
