Defined/specific roomtypes for ratecode or voucher to prevent roomtype close restrictions
If I am only to have certain roomtypes available for a ratecode or for a voucher, I currently need to place "close restriction" one by one on every roomtype that should not be sold for this specific rate/voucher. IF you could define what roomtypes a particular rate or voucher should be valid for, you would not need to make all these close restrictions.

Adding another angle that reinforces why this needs to live outside of Restrictions: we have a customer managing several corporate/negotiated rates that are only valid for a limited set of room types. Today, the only way to enforce that is to close every other room type on that rate one by one via Restrictions — but Restrictions is also how the same property does its yielding, so one panel ends up doing two different jobs. That makes it easy to apply the wrong commercial restriction by mistake and takes room-type control for contracted rates out of revenue management's hands.
On top of that, even when the negotiated rate has no restrictions and is priced below BAR, Minimum Rate in Mews Operations never picks it up automatically once the company is attached — staff still have to manually select it from the rate dropdown every single time, which is inconsistent across a multi-property team and easy to miss.
Being able to define which room types a rate code/voucher is valid for natively (independent of Restrictions), and having Minimum Rate correctly consider those rates once they're eligible, would solve both problems together. This is a common way hotels contract company-specific rates with limited space types, and right now there's no clean workaround for it.

If that category is unavailable, the company guest may only see the corporate rate as "unavailable" — other room types and public rates aren't shown clearly, so the guest may assume the property is sold out and book elsewhere.

When a voucher is created to give access to a specific rate code we should have the ability to hide room types that are not applicable, when the guest uses the promotional code on our website. i.e. if the voucher is only valid for Suite rooms we should have the ability to "hide" the Standard rooms from being visible.
As it stands we have organizers complaining that when a guest uses the voucher they can see all the room types at the hotel which causes confusion for their guests and leads to them booking the wrong room types, thinking they are getting the promotional rate when in fact they are just booking a standard rate at the hotel.
