  1. We've explored various reports in Mews with different settings to see if it's possible to extract the tax code in addition to the tax rate. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a way to do this.

    Having access to tax codes in reports is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance, especially when tax codes change within Mews. It allows us to track which revenue has been taxed with which tax code, providing better control and transparency for accounting and auditing purposes.

  2. Consider adding a Sorting filter where the rates can be grouped by Type, Voucher, or Segment when researching or managing rates. It would be helpful to also have these columns visible for that purpose.

    Perhaps also add the possibility (later on) to apply bulk-modifications per these groupings.

  3. We need a way to notate guest allergies in their profiles and pull reports. At minimum, we need a way to be able to pull a PRINTABLE report that includes reservation notes, where we are currently noting allergies for our kitchen and housekeeping staff. This is vital to operations for our property and for our kitchen specifically. Our chef currently has no way to efficiently and effectively pull guest food allergies directly from Mews when he is writing the breakfast menu. We are forced to use a separate system which, naturally, causes food allergies to occasionally fall through the cracks…

  4. We would love to have 3 pahce check for housekeeping.
    One when room is cleaned, one for inspected and one for maintenance to finish as we have a lot of things to take to consideration before the room is ready for guests.

  6. Turn off the "New device sign in" emails.
    They do not work and causes about 20-30 tickets to our support each day.
    Some users get these emails several times a day.
    It's a nuisance.

  7. the news device authentication feature email informing a user of a new login is a nice addon, however a copy to the property admin even better; as the property admin can easily filter any particulars as to whom and when, as well as the location.

    as the location is usally (close) to the actual physical address of a hotel, there are numerous questions when it is not 100%, and the champion can then tacle this issue first hand

  8. It would be great if we could receive a no-show report, either as an xml attachment in an email, or a pdf report through email.

    Currently the only way to check no-shows is on the day itself and there's no way to really gather statistics from this unless you keep track yourself.

  10. It would be very useful if you could view the status of an existing support case (e.g. see if it's been looked at, actioned, etc.) via the digital assistant. Currently once a case is submitted via the digital assistant, I'm not aware of a way to contact support without creating another case via the digital assistant. If you email [email protected] the automated reply says emails cannot be responded to directly, and creates another case.

    It would be much simpler if you could give your case number to the digital assistant to get a link to a summary page. Also, it…

  12. It would be helpful to have more charging rules or patterns for products.

    Especially for long term bookings (still with a nightly rate) it can be necessary to add a product on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly pattern.

  13. I think it would be very helpful to have the option to set customizable (per house, per user) templates for reports.

    In general I appreciate the flexibility in creating a report such as the reservation report.
    But if there is a report that is needed regularly, it can be a bit exhausting to everytime set all filters.
    To set up the scheduled exports is a solution only in case there is a fixed schedule. If we could have the option to select a template that would adjust the filters a certain way, this would be more than helpful and time…

  14. Please add the option to choose multiple Services within reports (e.g. Reservation Report), the dashboard and the timeline.

    If we add a service for nightly billing and one for monthly billing, both should be equally add up as arrivals and being reflected on an arrival report.

    For the dashboard, maybe we can have at least the possibility to select services that should be shown together on one dashboard. (Arrivals, departures, tasks)

    For the timeline, it is not very helpful that reservations for other services are visible but it is shown with the name of the service instead of the guests…

  16. We would like to be able to mark a Mother Company as a Mother Company, to be able to sort and search only for Mother Companys.
    This Mother Company should not be treated as a regular Company Account, as it is a Master which combines the regular Companys.
    Further we need to be able to differentiate between Mother Companys and regular Companys not only in Mews, but in the API as well.

  17. It would be very useful to create a time frame with different minimum capacity by room, i mean adapt capacity to diferent time periods to enable dynamic pricing for peak/low season.
    It's needed too to charge free children in one specific period for commercial purpouses

  18. It is essential for us to track which rooms are performing well in terms of mini/maxi bar sales, as our hotel offers different collections in the mini/maxi bars across various rooms. Therefore, we need a report detailing mini/maxi bar consumption by room number.

  20. Please add the timeline view to the mobile app. Some properties would like to see the timeline on their phones as well since they utilize them often and throughout the day. This feature request came from Erin at Boardwalk Homes Executive Guest Houses & Suites.
