  2. The Mews guests in house report is an extremely useful tool to check all customer data for guests that are currently in house. This snapshot of customer data can help managers quickly gather important details, although some additional fields could be helpful for guest analysis as well. For example, customer classifications and customer nationality details could both provide further valuable insight for quick data analysis of customers.

  4. Set the “Segment” field of a booking as mandatory in the customer profile. This information is extremely important in terms of Revenue Management and analytics, to allow the correct categorisation of the businesses type. This update will guarantee that each and every booking will have a “Segment” attached.

  12. Refunding a transaction can involve sensitive processes and effect property revenue, which means that employees should use the upmost care as they give refunds to guests. With the addition of a user privilege, properties could restrict this action to be completed by only management or admin users. This could prevent mistakes in the future or help managers keep a closer eye on all refunded revenue.

Therefore,for clarification, adding photos to your Space Status report could help all departments communicate more efficiently, as you can report problems more accurately using visual cues.

    Thank you for your suggestions and feedback. We are currently researching improvements to group functionality and have updated this request as one to be upvoted by the Mews community.

    In order to assist us with our research we would like to gather additional use cases for groups. Would you be able to share more information with us regarding how you envision a “Group offer calculator” to work?

  20. While completing customer profiles, one of the most important pieces of data includes payment card details. For this reason, an additional field for these card details could be very beneficial to streamline that data collection process. Manage your profiles with the most important information first.
