  1. When you book online, you see the rooms that are available at the top of the page and don't see unavailable rooms until you scroll down the page. But when we book over the phone, the room categories stay in their default order and just show that the room cannot be booked. It would make things a lot easier if the categories were sorted by availability first and then by their default sort.

  2. We use the restrictions a lot at our property. We need a way to see restrictions in relation to the availability and occupancy. I'd like to see restrictions added to the calendar view of the avail and occ reports.

Beyond the availability of filters, or as incremental filter functionality, users should be enabled to remove data columns from report when the data in the column is irrelevant to the property or the user. My hotel doesn't track data by bed but this information takes up space in a report for columns with zeros. When I deselect filter options, the column still shows in the report with zeros. Like standard Excel spreadsheets, it should be possible to drop/drag columns within the report and remove columns so print attempts don't generate unusable reports.   4. I would like it if Mews could reassign reservations to a different space if it could open up another reservation. I have a couple of niche uses for this at my property but can think of a few ways other properties may use it too.

    My property has 22 rooms with 22 space categories because our guests like to book their favorite room and we want to cater to that. I have a few rooms that would work really well as desk space because they are big and I can lock the bedroom doors to prevent their use if it…

  5. The onboarding manager should stick with the project for 6month to a year and not 5 days after going live. We are a new hotel and did not have reservation prior to going live. now that we are live several questions arise and there is no direct number to contact. I have read the help articles but still do not get a clear answer from them. I have submitted the question through contact us and still have not gotten answers. If there is a number to call direct when it is an urgent need that would be more helpful.

  6. At the moment, when a rebated item is rebated again (a double rebate) it changes accounting category to the predefined accounting category in accounting configuration. It would be good if it kept the accounting category set for rebates of that product/night

  8. I like that bonus points are added to the accounting ledger. But I would very much like it to be updated so that these come chronologically by date. There will be a lot of scrolling to find the way when something is written there, you have not paid off because it is no longer shown on the guest's bill directly.

  9. De reserveringsbevestigingen voor groepen, meer dan 5 kamers, zijn er onoverzichtelijk. Hiervoor wordt een PDF-bestand toegevoegd, maar dat is nog ingewikkelder voor de gasten om te lezen en begrijpen. Kunnen hier aanpassingen in gedaan worden?

  10. Option to directly add the CC in the process of making a new reservation. Otherwise you need to go to the profile and add it there. It cost extra steps / clicks and also the change to forget to add the CC.

    It shout also be linked to the rate you choose -> non refundable, always ask for a CC.

  11. If we issue a "rebate" the naming of the document should be credit memo / credit invoice - not invoice.
    Then no need for specify at each item line that it is a rebate..

  12. Please add following interval for scheduled reports:
    "NEXT 5 DAYS"

    schedule starts 8/9 07h00 -> report for 9/9, 10/9, 11/9, 12/9, 13/9
    next schedule 9/9 07h00 -> report for 10/9, 11/9, 12/9, 13/9, 14/9
    etc...

    Maybe also 'next 10 days' as an extra option.

  13. Provide functionality for auto-allocation of bookings to units, in order to spread revenue income evenly across owners. Rather than Top-Down, Bottom-Up, or Random, taking prior YTD revenue consumed by unit in to account would help spread revenue evenly and keep owners happy (particularly w/ Condo-Hotel types where individuals own specific units and put them in rental pools)

  15. Being able to integrate/import more details into mews.
    When looking to the future our demand for accurate and immediate reporting becomes ever bigger. having MEWS as the central HUB for everything would be nice. Alternatively having more integrations with 3rd party players that can take relevant info from mews, ESG reporting criterias will be more and more crucial in the coming years

  17. The chatbot bubble is static at the bottom left corner of the screen. It blocks access to anything that I have to click on that very same spot! Please make an option to move this bubble.

  19. A better and quicker way to name the group different from the booker. Now it is a mess to get it changed properly. It is always switching and the group name cannot be different as the booker of the group on an easy way.
