  2. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  3. Add to the current list of Interval option of a Continuous 7 days that begins the report at "Current Day 00:00 to +7 days at 00:00"

    This would allow a daily export of product services sold to show any 7 days out at all times and would also include any late changes that happen for last minute bookings with a cancellation period, add-ons over the phone, and so forth. This is extremely beneficial for a Front Desk Supervisor or Manager to see what is happening that day and prepare for the days to come before a guest arrives without having…

  6. In the timeline, there is no neat separation between different room types leading to mistakes when moving around reservations. It would be helpful to have a gap in between or a thicker line to make the separation more clear.

  9. The property may need to ensure that all guests' information is filled during check-in due to regional requirements. Due to that, should any plans change from reservation creation to check-in regarding guest count, guests can't successfully check in if they initially booked for 2 people but only 1 person was able to show up.

    Make it possible to change occupation (guest count) on the kiosk last minute.

  12. It is recommended to setup daily or even hourly exports of important reports to prepare for possible desasters. Only Enterprise Subscribers may choose and FTP Export Target. All others are limited to email exports. However, this way massive amounts of sensitive customer data is transmitted over possibly insecure connections (unencrypted email / SMTP). That could be a GDPR violation!
    I suggest making secure/encrypted sFTP Exports available for everyone and/or implement a way to guarantee secure email transmission (at least SMTPs with certifcate pinning).

  13. When a guest e-mail address bounces, it would be helpful if and when a task is created in order to have a notification (and thus an actionable moment) for staff to verify and check the e-mail proactively, and not have the guest wait for an e-mail because of a typo...

  14. We are using the automatic export feature to export financial reports. The only choice is CSV, XLS, JSON. We are missing PDF. Our export target is the accountant. For legal reasons, he does not accept anything else than PDF.

  15. We are a small events venue with 22 guest rooms. When we get a wedding room block it is almost always for all rooms on property. When setting up a block, we add all 22 room categories one by one. We would really love it if there was a bulk add option all space categories to the block. Also helpful if there was a way to then allocate all available rooms in a category and not click on each category to adjust the number of spaces held.

  16. When you need to extend a booking, you manually need to move future booking(s) before extending. If the future bookings aren't locked they should just be replaced in the timeline the same way as if you move between spaces.

    The problem happens when hotels are quite fully booked and you need to remove space for reservations and the puzzle it all together again after extending the one reservation in question.

  17. The Timeline is such a great tool. We use it to have a first glance of what rooms are available in certain dates while we are helping guests booking reservations. I wish there was a way to see Room Blocks in the Timeline.

    Precious time is waisted trying to figure out why we cant book a reservation on certain days just by looking at the Time Line.
