  1. When viewing the timeline availability blocks are not visible, it would be good to be able to see availability blocks on the timeline.

    When the team look at the timeline it is misleading regarding availability if large availability blocks are in place.

  2. For every reservation that is on timeline, it would be nice if there was some form of a payment status descriptor so that our front desk staff can visually recognize which reservations have fully paid and which haven’t.

    For example:
    A fully paid reservation could have a “green” dot
    An unpaid booking could have a “red” dot
    A failed transaction could have a “black “ dot

    At this moment we have to manually enter the reservation and go to the payments tab to check if the reservation is fully paid or not. This takes time for each booking and is…

  4. When a reservation is made or changed and the system does not assign a room to it and it is going to drop in to the red line - there should be a warning that pops up to let us know this is happening so that it can be rectified straight away.

  6. It woul be really nice, if we can track the DATE of the overbooking on the left side of the room description (pink line) on the time line dashboard.

  7. We're very happy with the new timeline feature filter! An improvement in our eyes would be if it also were possible to select multiple features and that the filter shows all the rooms which have one of the selected features. At the moment the filters only shows rooms which have all the selected features.

  10. The ability for a customer to create one reservation with multiple room types in that single reservation. The guest that stays in a beach villa and then wants to move to an overwater bungalow for example. Having this as one single reservation.

  11. Have a drop down that allows your to sort the timeline in different ways.
    eg.
    - by room category/room type (current)
    **** by room number *** (MOST IDEAL UPDATE)
    - by room location
    - top floor/bottom floor
    - interconnecting
    etc.

  12. currently you are able to look at the timeline on a monthly basis, but you are not able to do anything like you are on the "normal" timeline. one of the reasons you are looking at this view is to be able to move bookings.

  14. THIS PROBLEM HASN'T BEEN SOLVED DESPITE YOU SAYING IT HAS BEEN RELEASED!
    the monthly timeline is already a lot better to deal with long-stay enquiries, however, we have just oversold our property due to the fact that a short stay was not showing up on the monthly time line. we thought we had the full three months available when we didn't.
    this is of course not acceptable meaning we are not able to use the monthly view.
    may i suggest perhaps a weekly view? or just make the fields smaller (half or quarter their current width).

    Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered.

    We at Mews follow strict design guidelines and principles and customising the colours on the timeline is currently not something we will be working on. We constantly review our design choices and will keep usability and accessibility very close in our decision making process.

  16. When you click on the "Timeline" symbol on the guest future reservation. The system does not brings you to the exact reservation on the timeline. you have to check for that on the search bar. I think it would save time if we can access straight away from the guest reservation.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are very happy to inform you that this issue has been resolved. When selecting the reservation icon for future reservations, you will now be directed to the correct space the reservation is allocated on the timeline.

  17. The timeline should be ordered by number and not only by categories, as every PMS does, instead of showing only by categories. By categories, the timeline is a real mess, since you have room numbers totally mixed.

  18. we should have an option to click on the red line and see straight away where you have the overbooking. Sometimes the overbooking is two years later and you waste your time following the red line

  19. Notes in reservations is now a small box with just 3 lines visible. We need to adjust the size of the box or else we lose time scrolling down and looking the text.

  20. Rather than having a long list all spaces, by making beds collapsible under their parent room, it will improve the user experience having a short list to scan through when making alterations.
