  1. When making a booking and we need to select a date; could we get the dates on the calendar highlighted to let us know something important is happening on this date, i.e bank holiday, special event, wedding, or any restrictions. As when making a booking on Mews, we don't always use the calendar therefor we can miss if there is something important happening on that date.

  2. Fast forward to overbooked reservation in timeline

    it would be a nice feature, if we had the function to klick on the red bar (when overbooked in a category) in the timeline to fast forward directly to the (next) overbooked reservation.

    Currently we have to do it like that:
    To quickly find an overbooked category, follow these steps:
    1. Go to the Reservation report from the dashboard or Main Menu > Reservations > Reservation Report.
    2. Use the following filters: Mode: Detailed, Filter: Arrival, Start: Today’s Date, End: As far into the future as you wish to go, Status: Confirmed,…

  4. Multiple occupancy for a duration of stay.
    Expample: a Guest is staying for 5 nights. The first 3 nights is single occupancy and the last 2 nights are double occupancy. This should then have multiple rates *depending on the Hotel

  5. Often it happens that some guests would like to add more identical bookings, just under a different name, if they are part of a group. I am aware there is already a tool to make a duplicate from Mews, however, the information copied are not sufficient and should also include manually entered rates. I have already provided this information to Mews Premium, who informed us that it's not possible and they requested to add the idea on this feedback form.

  6. Is it possible to make an 'add' option to a confirmation? As an example, people who book a specific room (no room type) and don't see that reflected on the confirmation. You can't mention this anywhere yourself on a confirmation. Examples such as a specific room number, beds apart or room at the front.

  7. We request the functionality to round reservation prices to whole numbers in our booking system.

    This adjustment is crucial for maintaining the upscale image of our 4 and 5-star hotels, as current pricing often results in decimals.

    Implementing whole number pricing will simplify transactions and enhance the premium perception of our rates.

  8. It would be nice, if it was possible to add multiple rate codes in one reservation. For example if there is a reservation for 4 nights. The first and the last night booked at the best available rate, however the second and third night is booked at the corporate's contract rate. Now, we need to make three separate reservations. If it would be possible to add multiple rate codes in a reservation, this would make this much easier.

  9. If there is a note on a guest profile in ‘internal’ it would be great if when the profile was opened it alerted the operator.
    It wouldn’t matter is it was automatic or if we had to select ‘alert’
    EG – guest is a coeliac, rooms to avoid, comp fizz on next stay, guest likes a bath, dogs name. It can contain, positive, negative and important info that can be transferred onto next booking

  10. Add an extra column to the timeline to add certain importnat and rate / occupancy related events such as conventions, sport, concert, in-house. Column should be right under the dates.

  11. The timeline view is an incredible helpful one and when looking for free spaces in the timeline it would be great if you could just start the creation of a new reservation directly from there.

    Here is my suggestion: Right click on a free space in the timeline to start a daterange selection. With pending daterange selection right click to cancel the daterange selection left to complete. If with a active daterange selection you click anywhere invalid the selection is cancelled to.

  14. We need a waitlist for overbookings. Meaning if you are fully booked, you can put customers on a waitlist, as soon as there is a cancellation, the guest will be informed and offered a room. Thank you.

Could we have the possibility of coloring certain dates of the Mews calendar / planning of the establishment in order to reference the important dates of the year (events, holidays, vacations...). With, if possible, the possibility of adding a text when you pass the cursor over the date in question.

    For example :
    - Put the date of July 14 in green with the text "Holiday: French National Day"
    - Put in red January 10 with the text "congress".

  16. The ability to add ages for our Family room reservations. Our family rooms accommodate 3 adults or 2adlt and max. 2 children up to 11
    As this feature is not available we have set up the room occupancy for 3 persons; either 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child so we currently lose bookings from families with 2 adults and 2 children. If we allow a room occupancy of 4 persons we start receiving bookings with 4 adults and our sofa bed is not equipped to take the weight of 2 adults

Guests occasionally have a reservation under one booking, followed by another reservation under a different booking number (e.g if they've decided to add another night or have been staying for work and adding another day as a personal expense). Under the current system they need to check out and get their cards recut which isn't a great customer experience, we need to manually allocate the same room for both stays, inform Housekeeping not to clear the room and if they haven't paid in advance, we need to pay extra attention to their billing as it's split over multiple bookings.

  18. Now it is only possible to add a confirmation number in a reservation of there is an Travel Agency assigned. This option should always be available as many companies have there own confirmation number and cost centers they would like for us to add to a reservation, for it to be reflected on their bills/invoices.

    These can change from booking to booking and therefore not possible to put this in the company profile.

    Now there is a workaround by assigning a random OTA, then the bar appears you can fill in what you need and then delete the OTA. The…

  19. If the client has MMMP active, they would like to be able to look up a reservation number and find then the property, as sometimes people call not knowing which hotel they are staying but giving you only the reservation number.

  20. Possibility to check-in and check-out reservation with unassigned space.

    In case if we have confirmed no-show reservation and we have option to sell more than 100% rooms. There should be possibility to check-in and check-out this reservation. In case if it will be on unassigned space after 7 days the reservation and the charge will disappear.
    It is a big potential to increase revenues.
