  1. Could we have the possibility of coloring certain dates of the Mews calendar / planning of the establishment in order to reference the important dates of the year (events, holidays, vacations...). With, if possible, the possibility of adding a text when you pass the cursor over the date in question.

    For example :
    - Put the date of July 14 in green with the text "Holiday: French National Day"
    - Put in red January 10 with the text "congress".

  3. Optional reservations should not be confirmable without adding a credit card as guarantee, Big corporations cannot have control of reservations that the clients were able to confirm without a credit card as guarantee this can cause lots of no shows and issues.

  4. It would be an awesome feature, if you could individually select the color of a reservation in the timeline - that would make an overview much easier.

    For example: Two rooms are booked from the same customer. Therefore you can select a specific color for both reservations. Then you can easily recognise bookings in the timeline, that belong together.

  5. When the reservation is cancelled and there is task assigned for the reservation, system should automatically cancel the task inside the reservation as well.

  7. Guests often abort the Online CI at the credit card entry field, but complete the guest registration process. A completed guest registration should somehow be marked in MEWS as it saves time for the receptionist and creates a better guest experience.

    Possible solutions:
    Header text: must be checked in - Completed guest registration - Checked in Online
    Icon somewhere in the reservations of the arrival field
    When printing out guest registration cards, replace those of the guests that already completed the form with the actual completed PDF. (prefered solution)

  8. When viewing the timeline availability blocks are not visible, it would be good to be able to see availability blocks on the timeline.

    When the team look at the timeline it is misleading regarding availability if large availability blocks are in place.

  9. If you pull the reservation report by revenue, only the Rooms revenue is shown; not additional revenue from POS or spa system etc.. Therefore, it is not possible to create a top turnover overview that shows the total turnover generated by a guest.
    It would therefore be very desirable to be able to export the entire turnover including all additional turnover, e.g. in order to be able to create an A, B, C lists or Top 50 Producers.

  10. When there is a reservation that cannot be allocated and we fix the issue and leave the space available for it, it would be helpful to have an "allocation button" to just allow Mews to try once again to allocate those reservations in the red overbooked area, instead of allocating them manually one by one, and without having to use the Optimize Space Allocation button in the timeline (which could move other reservations that are not locked in place).

  12. When creating a task, the task looks ordered and systematic with spaces between the different points and can even be numbered. But when printing the list, all spaces and numbering is gone and its all just one long sentence. Would be very helpful to have the printed list to look like the actual task description.

  13. Dans la partie de droite de la réservation, il sera plus facile de lire les produits s'ils étaient regroupés en une ligne. Pour des longs séjours la liste des produits est vite beaucoup trop longue.
    Par exemple au lieu d'avoir 9 lignes avec 1 produit, avoir 1 ligne avec les 9 produits

  14. Now when booking in a house use room it is set to one specific room.
    Could it be possible to make a house use room behave as a "regular" reservation in which changing and locking rooms would be possible?

  15. Reservation screen has multiple tabs - billing, payments, dashboard, profile. It takes a lot of steps to find all information and it doesn't sit in one place. Simplify getting around the reservation with all the details.

  16. Once a guest purchases an additional product (wine, airport transfer etc.) along with making a room reservation, the Reservations department gets an automatic task.
    As the Front Desk is the department taking care of organising this, it would be useful if you could choose to which department these tasks get assigned to.

  17. Add total occupancy for each day at the bottom of the Timeline so we can quickly see how many people are staying. Wouldnt need to click around with reports if it just did a simple totalling sum, the old Hotel Perfect had that and was extreemly useful.

  18. Add a field onto the reservation to enter a free format travel agent voucher number issued for billing purposes and to be able to print this voucher number onto the guest bill. This as we need to issue invoices for TMC's that include the voucher number to be approved for payments.

    We electronically transfer the data via the API for all these invoiced bill directly to the TMC's for them to electronically process via their OCR system to issue payments. Using billing notes, users to tend to add additional information causing the process to fail.

  20. Sometimes clients book 2 consecutive nights through 2 different means. It would help the communication with housekeeping if the reception was able to "link" the 2 reservations together so it is clear that the same person stays in the room. Additionally, it would be helpful to have an automatic detection of this kind of things, like a notification warning us that a reservation has been made with a similar name a day before or after.
