registration card Austria in once Fellow Travellers
In Austria the registration law wants the adress, id ccard and signature from the main Traveller and the name and date of birth of the fellow passengers. Mews prints and want all the data of each guest. Better would be also for the digital path that the main traveller has the oppurtunity to fill in the data from his self and also int the same form off his fellow travellers

Note in the customer profile: "customer name already exists"
For example if a guest, which stayed with us in the past, is booking through another website we have him as a new customer in our system.
It would help us, if the system could create a notice f.e.: “Customer name already exists!” Then we can have a look if it’s the same customer, and we merge the profiles, or not.

Email sent to be logged in the action log
Email sent to be logged in the action log in order to give a quick overview of the guest email communication, in addition a link to the mail queue link so the employee could easily access the email. If non admin users could have access to mail queue as a separate work privilege it would enhance the user experience for this suggestion

Guest search as Booker
When using a bookers name to search a group Mews does not show information or data about the entire group. Example: When the name no other group members are attached to the search. So if only the bookers name is know we are unable to find any information on the group through the search key. We must then use individual names that are assigned to the rooms.

Show number of past stays in guest dashboard
To get a quick idea of an arriving guest, it would be very useful to see how often the guest has returned to the property.
The current symbol of a returning guest is not enough. There is difference between guests that have returned once or guests that have returned 30 times!It would be very helpful to see the number of stays counting from 1 to ....

As hotel it should be possible to make certain field required. We would like to have the adress and license plate. however this is not mandatory.

Historical data for guests
We have several guests who request to have the same (or similar) unit as they stayed in before. currently when looking at the guest profile, it is impossible to see what unit number they stayed in unless you open each reservation card.
Is there a way so that this displays on the dashboard and perhaps rather than using the place cards use a one line list which displays all information in a clearer view similar to the orders view (i.e. res number / cancelled or stayed / arrival and departure date / unit type / unit number / rate code…

ACTION LOG FOR CHANGES MADE ON ALL CUSTOMER PROFIL
It will be great to have the opportunity to see all the changes made on all the customer profil, more particulary if a classification has been modified or take off. We have the opportunity to see it on a specific custumer profil, but we need to see all in the action log from the dashbord.

Authorized Credit Card Required at reservation creation
Provide an option to hotels where, in order to create a reservation (even through Commander), an authorization code with an authorizable credit card should be required and part of the 3 step reservation creation process.
And, only certain users (or an override password) should be allowed to select an alternate payment method such as cash / directbill, etc.
However, one way or another, at least an indication of payment method should be part of and required in the 3 step reservation creation process in commander.

Passport - Identity document
The ability to store passport pictures through the guest journey. Almost every self serviced apartment company requires to store passport infomation and our guest journey does not support this. This requires the owner to use something like Operto or Duve.

Special characters and key encoder
Could you please do something about special characters in the name of the guest ?
When it's a self check in it can have sometimes special characters and so the order to creat a key on the key encoder is not working.1 vote -
Multiple emails per guest
It would be great to have the option of having multiple emails with the account. Some people would like different charges invoiced to different emails (i.e. business card is only paying the room therefore that invoice goes to that email, and a personal email for all other expenses).
Also another reason is husband and wife might want the invoice sent directly to there email

Include Check-Out invitation into reservation mailing tab
Some emails to customers can be resent from Manage Reservation/Mailing Tab. However, the online checkout invitation is not between of the options.
Adding this email would allow properties to resend the checkout invitation at any moment. For example, if the reservation is shortened to the following day, after the sending hour established in the settings

At the moment guests can skip the email line on tablet App. Having this line mandatory would improve our efficiency. Thank you.

Create task when credit card on file is expired for an upcoming reservation
If reservations are made far in advance it may occure that a guests credit card won't be valid anymore when the payment is due. Therefore, a task should be created when a card is expired, so we can contact the guests and ask them to update their card details. In an ideal world, an email template could be created so this can be automated.

enable new properties to transfer reservation data from old pms to Mews
Properties that are looking for a PMS switch want to keep the historical reservation and move them to Mews. Currently this isn't possible.

Salutations, honorifics, titles
In an openminded world or openminded city and with an openminded PMS salutations like Mr., Mrs. and Ms. are not enough.
Please add at least Mx. Actually we had several complaints from guests AND staff that we are ignoring other genders.
Best would be: Make a list with salutations, honorifics and titles for the registration card. The admin can choose which ones should be offered to the guest/staff.
I know that not every MEWS user needs all these honorifics, salutations or titles, but a bigger list with the most common abbreviations should be possible.
