  1. Blocks should appear in the availability and occupancy report when they are confirmed. Not only when the rooms are picked
    It falsifies all reports also the reporting to external Management Systems.

  2. If you pull the reservation report by revenue, only the Rooms revenue is shown; not additional revenue from POS or spa system etc.. Therefore, it is not possible to create a top turnover overview that shows the total turnover generated by a guest.
    It would therefore be very desirable to be able to export the entire turnover including all additional turnover, e.g. in order to be able to create an A, B, C lists or Top 50 Producers.

  3. Report "guest in house" - "breakfast"

    The idea is to have the number of breakfast for each room everyday.
    Today the report shows the number of breakfasts for the whole stay of the client/room.
    How the report appears today :
    Day 1 Room 100 (2 people, 2 nights) = breakfast X 4
    Day 2 Room 100 (2 people, 2 nights) = breakfast X 4

    The restaurant needs this report to check with each client every morning if they have breakfast this day.

    How the report should appear :
    Day 1 Room 100 = breakfast X 2
    Day 2 Room 100…

  4. Add a filter for a date range in the report, currently only 1 day can be selected, I want to be able to see all Out of Order rooms for the week/month/year

  5. Hello. We need a report that indicates when a guests added nights to their stay.
    Currently under the updated reports section it includes any reservation that had even a minor change, like a note added or another person.

    Ex. lets say I have a guest that books for Oct 1-31 for $100 a night for a total of $3100. On Oct 15 they tell you they want to add the month of November so another 30 days an additional $3000. When I look at the booking it shows total revenue of $6,100. When I submit my weekly report of what…

  6. When a guest checks in via MEWS Kiosk we do not receive any information (mail?) about the check in. During the CI process a registration form is filled out and signed with all the necessary data for the registration to the city. All Registration forms of each day are digitally collected. Due to the CI via Kiosk it is hard for our receptionists to keep track of all the registration forms and collect them daily.

  7. We look for a report which lists reservations, that were checked-out with unbalanced bills.
    Few days ago, we checked-out a group, but forgot to issue the invoice the very same day and only realized this now. To make sure this has not happened before, we want to search for reservations, that are in the past but not paid or invoiced yet.

    Hi, thank you for your vote for this suggestion. In fact, this is already possible to see within Mews.


    Please navigate to the "Guests in house" report, which is available on the homepage dashboard, in the upper right corner under "Customers".


    Ensure that under Status, "Checked out" is selected, and that under Display options, "Balance" is selected. By selected your date range you should be able to view reservations which have been checked out but still have open balances remaining.

  8. Develop PMS reporting package for US Properties that emulates similar reports found in Opera that can be printed, exported by property and accounting team. may or may not be integrated with a Back Office Accounting Software. This would include but not limited to:

    Income Journal
    Trial Balance
    Manager Flash Report
    Market Segmentation Report
    Deposit Posted Report
    HIgh Balance/Credit Report
    Corrections, Allowance & Rebate Report
    Transaction Report by Cost Center
    Revenue by Transaction Code
    Reservation Report with Notes
    Group Pick-up Report
    Checkout with Balance Report
    Other Accounting Reports

  9. When an inhouse guest must move rooms for whatever reason such as extended stay or change due to category capacity or to another catagory that Mews is able to see this and combine the entire stay into one booking for our registration cards. So that we have a complete record of where the guest will be in house during their stay. At the moment we must print seperate registration cards for each invividual room.

  10. The Manager Report ran by Accounting category adds up inventory from different spaces. But when we create a Stay space and a Day Use space, it multiplies our inventory, although it's linked to the same exact rooms. Therefore, occupancy is always incorrect. For example, my property has 24 rooms, but because I linked each room to both Stay and Day Use, the report states 48 rooms and occupancy is incorrect. The system should understand that because it's linked to the same rooms, it should not multiply inventory.

  11. To expand on the new Group Blocks feature, I would love a simple Group Block Agreement form/report that summarizes the number of rooms blocked, the dates associated with the rooms and the nightly (pre-tax) rooms rate.

    It would have a customizable "terms" section where we can note cancelation policies, block release date etc and have a signature page for the client to sign.

    Right now we have to generate this outside of Mews, which creates additional work. Happy to send you a sample of what we are looking for!

  13. In the availability report, the colomn on the left with the roomtypes, should always show the total number of rooms that you have of this roomtype.
    Indepent if a room is OOO or not. Rooms OOO should be treathed as occupied, ie. only affecting the availability per day in the rest of the columns.

  14. set up in the schedules a group of reports that needs to be sent to our Accounts in Head Office. He called Night Packs and has included 8 reports for each of our hotels (Ibis Budget and Ibis Red).
    We have created a Night Pack set up schedule with 8 reports and it comes each report export directly and individually to our email included in the set up.

    My question is: Can Mews generate these reports, get them direct and sent them all into a single one email?

  15. Some small changes in the usability:
    - Simplification of the date input for reports and reservation window, in which the start and end correlate to each other. If I select a start date in the future, the end date will also appear in the future, similar to the reservation input.
    - Make grayed numbers selectable at the date of the next month.
    - Extend reservation and manager report by another date input for the following functions: how many bookings were made in time period X for time period Y.
    - Enable statistics showing which nightly added products are assigned to…

  17. The Availability block report (i.e. once exported to Excel) only outlines the blocks that are in place however it would be great to include further details such as how many rooms are held in each block.

  18. When a guest cancels a room, all products are removed on the Reservation Report so it is not possible to gauge whether the guest had a product previously. This is problematic if a process needs to be upheld when a product is cancelled (e.g. informing a third party) and it's not clear whether a reservation had the product to begin with.
