  1. As we have many returning guests, we need to know which customer belongs to the same family. It would be great to merch Children to their parents and a wife to her husband and visa versa.

    Like this we get to know our guests better and the booking process for future stays will be even easier.

  4. In France, it is now mandatory to give the postal code of the guest when you want to close the bill. So it would be very convenient to make it mandatory when the customer makes the reservation. Or to leave us the choice to add it as a mandatory information or not.

  5. it would be great to differentiate between the origings of the customers/connector type conncerning the automatic system email. Because for some integrations, we do not want this email to be sent: ivvy, vouchercard, fidelo etc.

  6. Hello,

    I have 3 proposals to make:

    First of all, in Spain we use different forms for the travelers registration. Besides the options mews give it to us, we use another forms such as: Spanish residence permit, European residence permit or ID CARD. We cannot find it in the programme. We only find: National identity document, Driver license, Visa or Passport.

    I want to ask if it is possible to add that kind of types in our MEWS system.

    Also, In Spain we have two surnames. So when we have foreign people from all over the world with just one…

  7. It would be great to have the possibility of adding a company sector of business (healthcare, hospitality, ...) and be able to filter data and analytics based on this information.

  8. When you export customer profiles to excel, the field 'language' is not added. So I need to filter on postal code to know which language the customer speaks. Which is totally incorrect.
    Please add the field 'language' to the excelfile guest profiles.

  9. It is about merging guest profiles. As soon as we are merging guest profiles and you choose to keep one profile it takes both addresses. If someone makes a reservation for a year on for example HRS - it takes both. So we also need to delete for exmpl. 60 profiles from the same person which takes ages!

Currently we create guests' Unique IDentifiers' (UIDs) from email addresses and it works great in most cases, however this is a flawed approach as email is not a required data point, and if a guest does not use one this effects duplicate guest profiles in MEWS (once the guest returns to the property for another stay). Properties then have to merge these profiles, losing time, and reporting accuracy.

    In my opinion this is not good user experience, is inefficient and requires a more elegant solution.

    We could for instance generate them from: Name + Surname + Street name instead.

  12. When a member wishes to extended their stay, would be nice if their was "Extended" options in origin of booking so we can differentiate if a guest booked through an OTA then extended or booked through an email then extended because presently we have to mark them as "walk ins" and this dilutes our actually "walk in" numbers.

  14. we had a comment from a guest who took objection over the fact he couldn't put in "british" as nationality. it comes up as "UK of GB...."
    could we get this changed please?

  15. We would like to have a direct link from our cashier system to book invoices to a guest profile using an RFID field that would be available in the guest profile. We also have guest accounts that hold more than one RFID. This option will make the administration of invoices a lot easier. Additionally, it will increase guest satisfaction.

  16. When you make an export of the reservation report grouped by booker, you won't have a column for the email address of the booker. It would be nice if this could be added for marketing purposes.

  18. We often have the problem that companies do not provide guest names when booking. However, a guest name must be specified in the booking process.
    It would therefore make sense to equate the company profiles with the guest profiles so that bookings are easier and guest names can be added later.
    This would also simplify invoicing for companies, as these are then saved in the company profile and allow a better overview.

  19. Hi there,

    I would like to suggest Mews add the "Stateless" Option in the Nationality list in order to be inclusive in case a guest is actually a Stateless person, to adequately communicate the guest data to the Police and to have more accurate data for our internal analysis

  20. When the guest confirms or cancels his option in Mews we do not know about it. We would need a notification to submit e.g. the deposit invoice and all details concerning the booking, in case of cancellation to give at least a short reaction to this fact.
