  1. It would be helpful if files like Confirmations/Contracts could be added to a Block. For most blocks we have seperate contracts that need to be attached to the block on a high level like Dashboard or Block Details. Then all contracts & Documents are on the Master Block and could be easily tracked

  2. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  3. After restoring a cancelled booking the status is automatically "Confirmed" and there is no possibility to change it.

    It would be very useful to have the possibility to choose the status (Confirmed/Optional/Inquiry) to which the booking should be restored.

    Specially for group tentative/optional bookings which have been cancelled after the option date and need to be restored because the guest is still interested, but the booking is not confirmed yet.

  4. Implementation of a feature to automatically log-out signed-in employees after a certain amount of time, and additionally, a quick key to log out.
    In some cases, multiple employees work on one computer and forget to log out. A quick key to log out would make it easier.

  5. At the moment in most cases we have to split reservations to perform a room change.
    It would be good to make a room move without any issues. One or two clicks the most would be good.

  6. We would urgently require the addition of the status "Cancelled" to availability blocks, so that at a glance we can immediately find the status of a group in the Availability Block Report

  7. We would like to send offers and confirmations of a block reservation directly from MEWS. For this we need mail templates for blocks and the possibility to click on the mail template option in the block (just like with the individual reservations)

  8. Blocks should appear in the availability and occupancy report when they are confirmed. Not only when the rooms are picked
    It falsifies all reports also the reporting to external Management Systems.

  9. Every other PMS system I have used categorises Notes on bookings.
    This really is a feature that needs developing In MEWS.

    There should be various boxes, one for Housekeeping Notes/ One for F&B notes/ Spa etc ...
    These teams can then print off reports for notes just for them, without having to wade through things that are irrelevant

    Also one for Public notes ( visible for Guests to see on confirmations and online Kiosks for self check in )

    Private notes for Internal notes - visible only for staff & hidden from Guests.

    This makes for a seamless guest journey,…

  10. Hello! to be able to change the number of pax per date like the rate! avoiding insering different reservations. sometimes the same room can be in double fo 2 nights and than in single ....

  11. A bunch of our repeat guests either have no email address or make the reservations in person and want a physical copy of the confirmation letter. Kind of odd that this simple feature doesn't exist.

  13. Ability to select products for specific days whilst creating the reservation. At the moment, you need to create a booking and then amend by canceling products for the days not needed.

  14. It is extremely tedious to have to change the translation for each possible languages for each individual element in Mews. A simple task such as making an edit to a unit descriptions requires 150 different entries if we want to accomodate all languages.

    There should be an AI tool that translates all Mews textfields in all possible languages from a default language to manage all other translations, such as Deepl for websites.

  16. There is a recurring need for hotels to track multiple reservations assigned to a unit. Oftentimes 2+ individuals, arriving at separate times, will each need a reservation for the same unit/dates. Sometime that nightly rate will also need to be split between these reservations.

  17. Report "guest in house" - "breakfast"

    The idea is to have the number of breakfast for each room everyday.
    Today the report shows the number of breakfasts for the whole stay of the client/room.
    How the report appears today :
    Day 1 Room 100 (2 people, 2 nights) = breakfast X 4
    Day 2 Room 100 (2 people, 2 nights) = breakfast X 4

    The restaurant needs this report to check with each client every morning if they have breakfast this day.

    How the report should appear :
    Day 1 Room 100 = breakfast X 2
    Day 2 Room 100…

  19. Be able to programme an export for an interval of 10 days.
    We analyse the management report by 10-day periods: from 1 to 10 - from 11 to 20 - from 21 to the last day of the month.
    It would be useful to be able to programme an export that includes these 3 intervals + the total for the month.

  20. There are common questions guests ask, it would save a lot of time if we can create our own templates for replies to the guest messages (like in booking.com) and just select the one we want to reply to the guest message.
