  1. Would be very nice if there is a group checking in online, that they can fill in a phone number and emailadres for every room.
    So when working with a digital key, every guest/room receives the correct key.
    Also would be perfect to split bills.

  3. In some cases, guest wants to book a specific space (favorite room for example) or want to make sure as a family they have rooms next to each other. Currently that is not possible via our booking journey on the BE.

  4. With the latest functionality updates we do no longer have the company/travel agent vouchers available from the voucher option in Mews when making a new booking.

    Company/Travel agent bookings should now be made without specific voucher and only using the relevant company/travel agent profile.

    IDEA;
    1: Let the hotels be able to enable/disable this functionality! Since this functionality might not be a positive change for all properties.

  5. Heya - the current set-up in Mews allows for commission rates to be set to travel agencies.

    For GDS rates, this can be tricky, as you have to create each agency, and not all GDS rates are commissionable.

    I would like to suggest the possibility of indicating on a rate if it is commissionable or not, and what the commission rate is for the rate.

    I know it will become complicated if you have a commissionable rate, booked by a T/A which has a commission set up to it. But maybe it should be the rate that determines the commission…

  6. It would be great to have the option of having multiple emails with the account. Some people would like different charges invoiced to different emails (i.e. business card is only paying the room therefore that invoice goes to that email, and a personal email for all other expenses).

    Also another reason is husband and wife might want the invoice sent directly to there email

  7. Display guest messages and internal messages apart, or at least in a different color, so you cannot reply a guest with an internal message by mistake.

  13. After the booking is complete, the confirmation back page does not show the guest name. It would be nice if it can show this information. As of now, it only shares the confirmation number, check in dates, price, and room type.

    It would be helpful to show the name of the guest as well.

For emails sent from an hourly service booking, it would be useful if the booked hours could be included in the booking details (e.g. the customer can see that they have booked a room from 9am 30/07/23 - 4pm 30/07/23). Currently only the date is shown. We are using the hourly service for our meeting room.

  15. Please make it possible to show more rates than only 1 rate per rate group in the booking engine. We have multiple rates (packages) per rate group. if we need to give all the rate's a rate group than we need to make over 25 rate groups. this will then be extremely difficult to handle for the employees as they have to go trough a large list.

  16. Could you please do something about special characters in the name of the guest ?
    When it's a self check in it can have sometimes special characters and so the order to creat a key on the key encoder is not working.

  18. Create an additional guest classification option under internal notes for corporate guests. So we can easily differentiate between guests who paid corporate fixed rates and standard rates

When a customer buys a voucher (gift card) on vouchercart or any other gift card integration, we want the gift card balance to be pushed to Mews AND deduced from any future invoice that the customer makes, which is not currently the case. All gift cards vouchers are therefore completely useless. Not having a 100% fully automatic gift card system in a hotellerie management software in 2023 is not solving a stone age problem.

  20. Currently the emails that are sent use the location name as the 'Sender' name. We would like to customize this, so that regardless of location, emails sent to our guests are using our company name (or something else).
