  1. it would be a cool e-commerce feature increasing conversion if we could send a reminder and summary of an abandoned booking in distributor via e-mail. A personalised text and an easy way to book would be a must.

  3. When customer is using PMS and POS, a guest profile needs to be created in Mews when guests are ordering via Mews POS.

  4. Some OTAs allow the customer to change Onsite payment to Online Prepaid reservation up until the check in.
    Currently the routing rules do not trigger when the payment option updates.

    We would appreciate if the routing rules trigger when the payment updates into "Online Prepaid" so that we do not accidentally charge the guest twice.

  5. it is sometimes important to know that a guest is a smoker to ensure they are allocated a room where this is allowed. nowadays most establishments are non-smoking and smokers are the exception rather than the norm.

  6. Group summary has poor data. More detailed summary would be perfect for group reservation.

    Extra information:
    -Reservation ID
    -Name per reservation ID
    -Arrival - Departure per reservation ID
    -Conpanion per reservation ID
    -products per reservation ID such as bike rental, extra bed

  7. We have offers whereby we need to restrict on what day the arrival day can happen (i.e. no arrival on monday or tuesday). the offer may be valid for 6 days maximum, so we do not wish to close out on the monday and tuesday. we just need to be able to set the arrival day from wednesday to sunday.

  8. Today it is not possible to guide your guests to one kiosk if you use multiple bookable services. This makes it unable to do check-ins for for example day-uses from the same kiosk as normal bookings. Resorts with one arrival reception can't use 1 kiosk to handle multiple services on their Resort. There are multiple use cases where this could be used.

  9. as we deal with mainly long staying guests, they have from time to time a visitor joining them. currently we add the person and make a note to remove their profile from the booking when they have left.
    this means however that we have no proper record of who has stayed when where, which is not ideal.
    is there any way we are able to add separate profiles to a space and keep a record of the period they have stayed with us.

  10. Could be great if you did automated IATA nr. pulls from IATA database - this would then provide hotels with an updated "IATA Agency" list.... similar to the way you do address look-ups

  11. For regular guests that are coming every week the Check Out Mail After Stay is very annoying. We just want to send it to indivudual guests. It would be perfect to have an option in the guest profil to set up which Mails the guest should receive from our system.

  13. A space character at the end of an email address should be simply ignored and not be producing an error message.

    This is just a small thing, but well made form can handle this. :)

  14. When setting up space categories, we have the field "Order email template".

    Unfortunately the text filled into this field is not sent in the default confirmation email.
    You have to set up a custom confirmation email.

    My request is: Please include the "Order email template" text in the default confirmation email.

  15. I set up our parking slots as a bookable service.
    In the Mews booking engine, the guest sees a "bed symbol" at the availability.

    It would be nice to have a car/parking symbol there, not a bed. :)

  17. On the check-out report: Guests with NO open account on the current stay and only in future stays should also be on the top line to quick check-out.

  19. Why is it that if a name is entered incorrectly at reservation, that if it is updated in the system, it doesn't show up as changed on the timeline or the guest's dashboard?
    It's not until you go completely into the guest's profile that you can see the changes.
    EG: A guest uses the name Bob at reservation then later asks for it to be under Robert Dawson. The name Bob is the only thing that shows on the timeline and dashboard

  20. Wanneer je de namenlijst downlaod met de nieuwe groepsfunctie (multiple reservations). Pakt die alle reserveringen in die profiel, dit is niet handig want voor groepen heb je wel is verschillende namen per reservering ( denk aan tourboekingen). Daarnaast als je de namenlijst downlaod staat alle datums door elkaar, dit is niet in te vullen op een normale manier. Alvast bedankt!
