  6. When showing an unbalanced invoice with all charges /items through that staff mode feature, it would be highly advantageous if guests had the option to add a tip—say 10%, 15%, or 20%—directly to the invoice. Once selected, the tip would be automatically added to the total bill.

  7. Yet it is not possible to customize Mews Kiosk App in the tone of voice that matches our brand. Meaning how we speak to the customers cant be set in Mews Kiosk. This is absolutely mandatory to match the brand standards

  8. I design websites for hotel and am working on the first site where Mews needs to be integrated. It surprised me to see that it is not possible to link to a specific room or package in the booking engine.

    Every hotel website I worked with wants a page on their where they describe and promote their room types and packages. It makes perfectly sense to add a [Book now] button to that description, which raises the expectation that you can directly book that room type or package with a click on that button.

  9. When the visitor of our booking street clicks on a date on which we have no availability, he or she will receive the advice to select another date or to contact our reception (by e-mail or by telephone). Currently it is impossible to change this text.

    We notice that our reception is now receiving many calls regarding our availability. In most cases, the caller reacts with disappointment, because providing these contact details incorrectly suggests that a room is still available.

    The option to change this text would be greatly appreciated.

    we are currently changing the way how we will show no avaliability and we will put this change into it as well, so we are minimizing the impact on the property.

  10. a search function in the messages would be very helpful - or being able to see whether a guest has sent a message through MEWS in their profile/reservation.

    For example if a guest asks to cancel and a cancellation/no-show fee would apply it would he useful to be able to check whether and when they requested this.
    The CTRL+F command is quite tedious to use because it requires to load also older message first, and that is not ideal.

  11. A guest booking with booking.com. The guest nationality is not transferred to the guests profile in Mews when using Mews's own booking.com integration. Booking.com clearly states the nationality of the guest with a flag and the country of origin's name.

  12. We take a print out for the registration form and take sign of guest for at check in. It is a A4 paper and the registration detail on the page takes only 30% space rest of the page is empty instead is you can give some more flexibility for the hotel to add whatever the need and use that remaining space like having a draft that has all the option either mews create it or hotels can add if they need some more info on the registration so in short mews can create an outline and the hotel can add…

  14. It would make it easier to keep the checked in reservations at the bottom of the operator screen and allow us to select them and add a guest who checks in later than the rest so that they can complete the check in too. Now there is no option to collect their information without undoing the check in, and that is not viable as we then could loose previous guests' info and signatures.

  16. The information showed in navigator is not enough. Especially for guests with multiple reservations/cancellations. I am missing at least: Confirmation number, rate type, room type, price, extra products.

  17. When a member wishes to extended their stay, would be nice if their was "Extended" options in origin of booking so we can differentiate if a guest booked through an OTA then extended or booked through an email then extended because presently we have to mark them as "walk ins" and this dilutes our actually "walk in" numbers.

  18. Would love a function where I can setup rules to change the segments on a reservation, rules that are defined by ratecode/rategroup/arrivalday of the week/number of guests staying.
