Adding additional guest(s) for short periods of a long stay
When guests are staying for several months, they often have visitors staying. These need to register and added to the booking.
Although this is possible, you are not able to add them for a couple of nights only. So you add them and remove them as you go along, but there is no track record of them at a later stage.
It would be great if you could add guests for a couple of nights only and be able to see the history in the booking to have a record of who stayed when.11 votesHello from the Mews product team. confirmation/quotation email sent listed in action log
Please include in the action log, if an email has been sent to the guest via Mews ie. confirmation, quotation, cancellation etc.
Now that we have to manually send confirmation emails, it would be greatly beneficial to be able to check if this has been done.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We have recently released a feature that allows you to view the mail queue for the individual guests from the Guest profile in addition to the usual mail queue.
You can access the mail queue on the guest level by selecting the guest dashboard and clicking on the mail queue icon on the top right hand side.
Please note that mail queue is currently visible to admin level users. We recommend that you consult your manager in order to access this functionality.

duplicate profile report
To be able to generate a report of duplicate profiles (All profile types) report. This will help in managing the merging process for individual profiles and at least flag the other duplicates that can not be merged ie company profiles.

ID CARDS AND SECOND SURNAME
Hello,
I have 3 proposals to make:
First of all, in Spain we use different forms for the travelers registration. Besides the options mews give it to us, we use another forms such as: Spanish residence permit, European residence permit or ID CARD. We cannot find it in the programme. We only find: National identity document, Driver license, Visa or Passport.
I want to ask if it is possible to add that kind of types in our MEWS system.
Also, In Spain we have two surnames. So when we have foreign people from all over the world with just one…

confirmation e-mail text
When sending a confirmation e-mail to booker I see strange information:
I see a line called "owner": owner of what. In most hotels there are guests staying in hotel, not owners.
Owner of what ?
Same "mistake" is seen in other languages.

Internal classification in most used order instead of alphabetical order.
When we look in a guest profile we have the option to put a internal classification. I would like the possibility to order these on most used classifications instead of alphabetical order. This to prevent putting guest by accident on the 'blacklist'.

Being able to put an EMERGENCY CONTACT in the registration card
Since we are responsible of a lot of people somehow, would be nice to have the option to add an Emergency Contact in the registration card that they have to sign when they check in house. In case of incident, we can contact a family member.

Hide email addresses in the new message with guest function
I would like an option in my user profile to hide my email address for other members of my company. Those email addresses are visible in the chat with guests window.

More flexible with the Check- in Bill
The guests there bill has to stand on fully- paid before they can check in threw kiosk. Give the hotel the oppurtunity to choose if this is necessary. (excluding city tax, for example)

Optional `After check-in` and `After checkout` emails
Currently, you can enable or disable automatic sending of these emails. However, with this idea, you could specify to whom you would like or wouldn't like to send 'after start' and 'after end' emails

Add Parent company to Reservation report
The Mews reservation report has a lot of valuable information, including but not limited to company details that may be associated with bookings. However, as some companies are nested under a parent company, this may not provide all necessary details. An additional column to indicate these parent companies could help clarify all company data associated with your reservations.

Option to Display Prices in Confirmation Emails Even When Company Routing Is Applied
Suggestion: Please consider adding a setting or checkbox in the billing/routing rule configuration that allows properties to choose whether or not to include pricing on booking confirmations when company routing is applied. This would give properties more flexibility to align with different business models, customer expectations, and communication standards.
This option would greatly reduce the number of guest inquiries and ensure transparency where needed.

I want the action of the key creation to display in the action log; this gives us the possibility of when and by who keys were cut for a specific reservation.

Signature for accompanying persons Optional
Signature for accompanying persons Optional
Since the update in July 2024, MEWS Kiosk asks for the signature of all travelling persons. As the data is usually filled in by the main booker and is not required by law, I agree that the signature for accompanying persons can be set to fixed, optional or not required as required.
In addition, it makes little sense to ask for this data for small children etc..
