Allow hotels to decide if e-mails should be default at the kiosk
Let the hotels decide if the guest's e-mail should be optional instead of default at the kiosk.
Since it's not a legal requirement in DK it's critical for us that we cannot change it in the "Check-in form"

We have many elderly guests who do not have their own email address, as well as couples who share the same email address. This often leads to problems, discussions, and delays during check-in.
The check-in via kiosk is therefore extremely important for us to ensure that:
A) The check-in process is handled properly and efficiently, and
B) The guest's signature for the legally required registration form is obtained. We kindly ask for the urgent implementation of this matter.

This is a very critical feature. The majority of our guests is very old and does not have an email address. It would make a difference to automation of our check-in process.

If ANY piece of information or form field can be requested at any point it should be up to the property to determine whether or not it is marked as required.
(legal requirements in different countries notwithstanding...)
Mews will never be able to accurately predict why a property may or may not need that information, so the ability to require it or make it optional will always be a level of flexibility that greatly benefits Mews properties.
