Packages available in Distributor
As a hotelier, I want to sell packages with special offers to my guests through Distributor.
Example: Enjoy the Valentine day in our hotel! Weekend stay, romantic dinner for two and a bottle of Champagne for 599 EUR.
I want these to be sold as packages rather than set up as special rates.
I want them to look like special offer.
I want them not to be limited to a specific date.
Please, share other ideas and requirements in the comments, thank you!

Yes please! We alreadyhave these sales focusses descriptions on the hotel website with a [Book now], but there is no easy way to directly link to the described package to book it.
You could use a deeplink to preselect the package and room type, but then the booking engine uses the default stay dates, and when you edit them, you go back to the first step and the preselected category and rate is lost and the guest has to go through each step to select a room and rate.
I added a related and more detailed request with booking flow suggestion here https://feedback.mews.com/forums/955601-mews-booking-engine/suggestions/47278931-allow-to-start-the-booking-process-with-room-type

Dear development team,
As a hotel we always explored the limits of the Mews system in order to implement new ideas but we are experiencing difficulties in terms of fully setting up our booking engine the way we would like it to be.
One of the ideas we could not implement due to the limits of the system is a dynamic package deal.
We would like to offer our guest the opportunity to book a room plus experience (we have a great partnership with a local brewery).
The pricing mechanic behind this deal should not be static. Our rooms have dynamic prices and we would like to keep it that way.
We do want to be able to offer packages to our guests.
We believe the deal should reflect like this in the booking engine:
Dynamic room rate + standard product A (brewery tour + tasting) = Package deal
The guest should see the package deal and (here is the main problem) total price of the dynamic room rate for that particular day + the product linked to it.
Now the only way to do this is by adding the products AFTER the booking is made through a product rule or by creating a static package rate and to include the products in the total price. Both ways don't work for us.
The guest should understand what they book and not having to pay afterwards (during check-in) because the PMS cannot include products realtime on top of a rate during the booking process. Hotels shouldn't be forced to only being able to offer package rates through a static rate construction.
If Mews would be able to pull this off I think this would be a great addition to the booking engine and to open up a new world of opportunities where hotels can play around with their guest experience and brand (identity) through partnerships etc without compromising their pricing strategy.
I really hope you will consider developing this in the future.

Would be very pleased for that!

This would be incredibly useful. Especially for packages which span more than one night. For example, our three night Christmas package @ £1900 shows as £633.33 per night which isn't very aesthetically pleasing and could imply that the guest can stay for 1 or 2 nights if they wanted instead of it clearly being a set 3 night package. Thanks!

Would love this feature.

This is so important and basic for Hotel Sales. It still amazes me that Mews doesn't have this option. Hopefully they work on it soon!

(some packages would be limited to a specific date, some not - it depends on the nature of the offer)
