  1. For a bookable service for space like parking or bike, or similar a guest /adult count doesn’t make sense. It should be possible to disable the adult count field in the booking engine for that bookable service somehow.

  2. Currently, the bookable service mail templates are set for all guests depending on their booking status.

    For personalization of the guest journey it would help if we can sent a customizable mail to several rate groups. This way business guests can receive additional information relevant to them as well as leisure guest who book a specific rate group (hotel offer for example). It would be nice if we can choose the moment in the mail queue when the mail will be sent.

    One template would not suffice, it needs be able to be personalized for multiple rate groups. So perhaps…

  3. Upon a completed booking, it would be helpful if MEWS creates a datalayer with the personal data from the booking (name, email, phone number, and country) that can subsequently be sent to Google and Meta as part of 'Enhanced Conversion' to better optimize advertising.

Bei der Raumkategorie kann ein individueller Text eingegeben werden, ursprünglich im html Format und somit auch richtig formatiert, Seit zwei Wochen wird ist es zwar möglich ohne html code die Informationen einzugeben jedoch kann man wichtige Infos nicht hervorheben und auch ansonsten keinerlei Formatierungen hinzufügen. Es wäre schön wenn Formatierungsoptionen angeboten werden.

    1. We would like to make it possible to add a baby and a child (up to 12 yo) on some rooms, but in MEWS I can only put extra capacity for either 1 or 2 people. When I put down 2 people it gives guests the option to put two children up to 12yo in the room. Is it also possible to distinguish age groups in this capacity? So that guest can only add 1 child and 1 baby, and not two children?

  5. Unfortunatelly it is not possible to change to the service name on the online check-in, unfortunately the online check-in configuration is outside of the services and located in the Settings > Property. Therefore it is not possible to change this text to use the service name.

  6. The {bill} placeholder is already available to add in the subject of the Bill sent email template, however this placeholder is not available for the body of the email. Adding the {bill} placeholder to the body of the email template, would give additional options to this email.

  7. Customizable preferred check-out time. With the online check-out guests are asked what their preferred check-out time is, but this is not customizable. It makes it very unclear for guests that this does not guarantee their check-out time and we are not able to state that extra charges apply. It would make sense that hotels can adjust this according to their own policies

  8. We want to restrain the possibility of the selection language in the Mews booking engine. For example, we only want that the client can utilize the English and Español version.
    Can you develop a function (check box in a list for example) which permit that ?

  9. The SMS Service Add on Subscribtion is a good Idea, but it might can be improved as following:
    1.) The way this product add-on is being priced is not a good fit for smaller hotels. Why can't there be pure pay-as-you go model, maybe with a higher individual SMS charges, but only on the acutal volume sent? I mean, the cary over that remains from the 50 € each month for us cannot ever be consumed...
    2.) Track clicks: currenty there is no way to know if the sent sms messages are actually improving online check-in rates. It would be…

  10. It would be great if relevant information for specific times can be shown as an alert message in the booking engine.
    Guest searches for a room during a certain periond and a message is getting shown, which is triggered by an either defined date range for the time of booking or time of stay.
    This would be helpful for:
    -restaurant closures during the time the guest does stay
    -renovations going on in the hotel
    -certain hotels services are not available during the staying period
    -could also be used for advertising special events in the hotel

  11. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass alle Gästeprofile im System aufzufinden sind in einer Gästekartei. Somit kann man den vielen doppelten Profilen entgegenwirken und leichter die Profile zusammenführen ( da man direkte Daten abgleichen kann, ob es sich um die selbe Person handelt)

  12. the employees at the front office who process early check-ins and therefore check the room status often start the check-in process because the room status is inspected, yet only because the room is not yet checked out. Only at check-out room status moves to dirty.

    Unfortunately, the pop-up on the tablet (Kiosk in staff mode) that the room is not ready for occupancy only comes after the guest has entered their data and signed.

    Would be great if there would be a sign if the room is still occupied, in the check-in screen or if the room moves to dirty…

  13. When merging guest profiles, only one phone number and one email is saved. Some guests use different phone numbers and emails for different purposes. We need the ability to consolidate all the guest's information on one profile. Also, a whatsapp option would be great to have. Thanks!

  15. We would like to submit a few modifications regarding the Mews Booking Engine, which is used by a variety of hotels with different concepts.

    Choice of pictogram: We would like each user to have the option to select a pictogram based on the type of accommodation they manage, for example, a "house" pictogram instead of "bunk bed."

    Clarification on pricing: Below the price, it currently states "per room/per night." We request that this be changed to "per accommodation," and this should also apply in all languages version. Or give the possibility to choose if we want it per room or…

  16. The rates on registration card shouldn't appear for the bookings made through travel agency or any other third-party bookings. When we choose to show the rates on registration card and print all the card from reservation overview the rates appear for the all category of booking. Please assist with the same.

  18. At our property we have limited parking spots available to our guest. At this moment the option to book a parking spot is hidden in the list of products in the engine when parking is fully booked. However, it would be great if the bookings engine could show it as sold out/fully booked. This would help us receiving fewer questions and not having to disappoint guest when we let them know they cannot park after they made their room reservation.
