    1. Handling of VIP's - being able to pull up a report of only Arrivals
      with certain Customer Classifications (mulitple-select-drop-down in
      reservation report with Customer Classification filter like Segments filter). Also being able to pull this via a Report like the Guest in house report.

    2. Disabled classification needs to be part of the Guests in House report
      for emergencies.

    3. Customer Classifications need to be a filtered in the Space status report for
      Housekeeping to identify special requirement rooms

  2. Signature for accompanying persons Optional

    Since the update in July 2024, MEWS Kiosk asks for the signature of all travelling persons. As the data is usually filled in by the main booker and is not required by law, I agree that the signature for accompanying persons can be set to fixed, optional or not required as required.

    In addition, it makes little sense to ask for this data for small children etc..

  3. Manche Gästegruppen müssen nicht selbst zahlen und nutzen daher den Online Check-in nicht weil dort die Kreditkarte angegeben werden muss. Warum kann man dies nicht auswählen? Die Arbeit wird nicht erleichtert, da zB Tagungsgäste sowohl Adresse als auch alle anderen Daten vor Ort eingeben müssen.

  5. Payment Successful emails are being sent regardless of the reservation and cannot be disabled currently.

    It would serve the properties best if the email could be sent to only designated recipients, especially when considering OTA confidential rates for CHM reservations. Sending the "payment successful" still reveals the amount that the hotel is trying hard to conceal.

  7. Add a button or checkbox in address details to mark them as "primary".
    Currently only the address entered last is marked as primary. To change an existing address to primary the address needs to be entered again manually.
    Therefore I sugggest a simple checkbox within the address edit view to mark an existing address as primary to the profile.

  8. {DetailsHtml} shows requested room category, while:
    {reservationDetailsHtml} shows category where the reservation is booked in actually.
    means: if you booked the room in a higher category than requested (guest possibly gets an upgrade) and you sent a second confirmation to guest/booker later (because of a date change or you had a typo in the email, or else), you will confirm him the "upgraded category". He will resist on getting the better category even if you received cancellations meanwhile and want to move the reservation to the requested category.

  9. Yet it is not possible to customize Mews Kiosk App in the tone of voice that matches our brand. Meaning how we speak to the customers cant be set in Mews Kiosk. This is absolutely mandatory to match the brand standards

  10. It is both good and bad that emails are not sent out from the demo environment. For example, it can be difficult to access your guest portal or check-in to test something if you haven't received a real email from the system.
    Additionally, it is also a problem to test email templates if you choose to build them yourself because the code (HTML/CSS) generated by MEWS is not 100% consistent with the code you insert.

    Therefore, it would be helpful if you could either enable email sending in the demo environment, so you can test the flow 100%, or if…

  11. Some third parties send reservation details in all capital letters. When merging profiles for these reservations, it would be nice to have an option to convert text to 'proper language', i.e. convert JOHN SMITH to John Smith. Staff are currently manually adjusting the text in these profiles.

    Je souhaiterais suggérer une amélioration permettant de définir un nombre maximum de réservations pour une offre, un produit ou un forfait spécifique.

    🎯 Objectif :
    Limiter automatiquement les ventes d’une offre dès qu’un certain quota est atteint (ex. : 10 réservations maximum pour une promotion, un forfait avec repas, une activité ou un événement spécial).

    🔧 Fonctionnalité souhaitée :
    Pouvoir définir un nombre maximal de réservations pour chaque offre ou produit.

    Une fois le seuil atteint, l’offre devient non réservable ou est masquée automatiquement.

    Option de réinitialisation manuelle ou automatique du compteur (ex. : chaque jour, semaine ou mois).

  13. Product Checklist Export

    Hello,

    I would like to submit a request for improvement regarding the product checklist feature in MEWS.

    🧾 Current issue:
    We regularly offer packages that include products (meals, massages, activities, deliveries, etc.) provided by external partners.
    Currently, it is not possible to easily export the product checklist linked to reservations in a usable format (Excel or PDF).

    This prevents us from:

    Clearly communicating the list of services to our partners each day;

    Effectively tracking the logistics of services to be delivered;

    Reducing errors and omissions on the partners’ side.

    I would like to submit a request for improvement regarding the management of meal packages in MEWS, as well as a crucial missing feature: the generation of meal coupons.

    🧾 Current issue:
    Our property regularly offers packages that include meals (breakfast, dinner, etc.).

    At the moment, MEWS does not offer any native functionality to:

    Automatically generate individual or grouped meal coupons for each reservation;

    Clearly and visually display the included packages at check-in;

    Simplify the printing or distribution of these coupons to guests.

    This results in:

    Frequent omissions of manually prepared coupons;

    A significant manual workload for the front…

  16. When a guest e-mail address bounces, it would be helpful if and when a task is created in order to have a notification (and thus an actionable moment) for staff to verify and check the e-mail proactively, and not have the guest wait for an e-mail because of a typo...

  18. Current Rate Comparison Box in the Booking Engine does not pull data from the OTA's URL leaving room for human error especially when accounting for complex promotions and rate parity from the OTA's website.

    If one is to use it properly, they must post a percentage adjustment in the "Competitor price relative adjustment" field to display the difference in prices.

    Using the OTA URL, this should be able to complete the info in the box therefore push for more direct bookings.
