Functionality to stop overbookings
Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected. Separate present and future bookings automatically on bills
Even though you can manually move future bookings to a separate bill it would be really useful if Mews did this automatically. It sometimes gets missed by reception and charged by mistake.

In the “Accounting report” we do not have any information about the actual date of when the service was provided. Is it possible to add an information about the original date of consumption?

Streamlining Payment Entry During Reservation Creation
It would be much more efficient if we could add a new payment method directly while creating a reservation—without needing to first create a profile or open a separate tab. Many of us finalize reservations without a payment method initially, so having this option in the same workflow would really streamline the process.

Gästeprofilnotizen im Mews-App für Housekeeping anzeigen
Zurzeit sind nur Reservationsnotizen im Mews-App ersichtlich. Dabei fehlen aber die Notizen vom Gast (z.B. wünscht zwei Kissen). Ist es möglich, dass die Gästenotizen mit der Rubrik "Housekeeping" auch auf der Mews-App hinterlegt sind? Somit muss die Rezeption die Notizen nicht jedesmal kopieren.

Allow clients to be able to custom-select different rate codes for a reservation via the "Change Rate" field in the Pricing TAB by adding a date picker feature.

Cancellation policies per room category within a single rate
We’d like the flexibility to define different cancellation policies per room category, without creating separate rates.
Example:
- Standard Room: free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
- Suite with Sea View: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrivalBoth should be part of the same rate, shown consistently across booking channels and internal systems.

Is it possible to change the number of items on the product checklist to, for example, 250? Currently when we switch pages the system slows down, so it would be great to have all items on one list for a smoother operation.

consumption date on the invoice preview
Is it possible to add a consumption date in the invoice preview for the products and services?
To see the consumption details we need to "print” the invoice to see the overview.

some of our cooperating companies have different billing addresses under the same name. At the moment the billing address is taken from primary address (which is the last added address). Report for product cancelations including reason
We have a mandatory field for canelationreason when we cancel a product, but there is no report for checking this proccesses.
We need a report sorted by products with reason, guest name, booking date and cancellation date etc.
As it is now, checking is extremely time-consuming because you have to search for everything individually.18 votes
