  2. Good afternoon team Mews
    Currently in mews we see that you handle a different exchange rate every day, can you help us to see this exchange rate reflected in the main panel of mews?

    Since currently the team has to be doing the manual calculations to know how much is the dollar exchange rate that is used every day, and this takes us time to be analyzing and taking out the exchange value of the dollar day by day.

    I hope you can support me with this information in the part of the mews panel so that it is visible…

  3. Some properties find it too restrictive not to be able to modify guest count once a rebate has been created and balanced in their PMS. Bills/invoices being legal documents are understandable - however if a rebate is created to correct bill details or items, the guest count should be considered as well.

  4. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  5. Keep the old system in the app where tags like "departing" is always showing on the rooms. This way you don't have to use the filter.

  6. It would be much needed to have an option to choose which age category to link to rate groups and products. Now we are forced to sell 0€ products and also package rates for children, even though they are not available for children. Very handy for booking engine and less confusion to end customer.

  7. When you have derived (dependent) rates, it would be good if you can add different adjustments per room type.
    For example to have 10% higher for a Single room, 15% higher for a Twin room, and so on. At the moment it is only possible to make absolute adjustments with same percentage/amount for all the room types.

  8. In the timeline, there is no neat separation between different room types leading to mistakes when moving around reservations. It would be helpful to have a gap in between or a thicker line to make the separation more clear.

  9. From an ops perspective it would be good if we could sort the studios by studio number from top to bottom, instead of being grouped by studio type and then sorted

  10. Many details are visible in the overview field but for us a very important detail is who made the booking.
    This person has the overview and does the follow up.
    Now I have to go to "Action log" which is packed with all kinds of updates often irrelevant to the case and scroll all the way down to the bottom to find the name of the creator.
    I need to know ASAP who made the booking so I know who to ask about the booking.

  11. Be able to personalize the package and value of the product in a block of availability
    The customer want to customize the price of the product per group.
    The value of the meals are negotiated per group

  12. It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.

    The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
    It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.

  13. Add a unique icon for a third category of age so in reports, we can easily see the difference between the adults, the kids and the teenagers as for some products, teenagers pay same price as adults but for others they don't so we need this distinct category.

  14. We would like to send our guests as little email as possible. Therefore, it would be great to be able to confirm two bookable services in one mail. For example parking and a room reservation. To avoid having to send to many emails.

  15. It makes sense to me to flexibility in AR Management.
    The 30 | 60 | 90 day industry standard seems to suit many hoteliers but is hard coded in most PMSs with AR Modules/functions.

    Some operators in Japan wish to manage and reconcile AR Accounts by calendar month. This is likely to be true elsewhere, given flexibility to do so.

  16. The customer want to be able to apply different value on Extra occupancy adjustment and age category on different period

  17. It would be fantastic if you could get the option to replicate stay restrictions on the base rate to all dependent rates.

    I know that there is the possibility of applying restrictions to multiple rates simultaneously.

    Some RMS's (Revenue Management systems) are playing with the idea of allowing you to send stay controls from the RMS. The only challenge is that they usually only allow mapping to one rate (your base rate), and hence any restrictions applied using your RMS will only apply to the base rate and not the dependent rates.

    Slightly complexed.... the basic question is how to…

  18. Hello

    Would it be possible to add an e-mail icon beside the printer icon when you want to send a copy of the receipt of the payment made through the Mews terminal to the guest by e-mail.

    For now we have to save it in PDF and then send it by e-mail.

    Hope my request is clear enough to be understood :-)

  19. Ideally we would like to be able to reuse rates for promotions, just changing the name and percentage of discount.

    Currently if you change the name of the rate it will change as well in all existing reservations, when ideally this would not be the case.

    If we have the same logic that applies to the price (it does not change in an existing booking even if you change it later) to the rate name then we will be able to reuse rates without need to create a new one every time we launch a promotion.

  20. Remowe/extend the limit of accounting editable history window. Now it is set for maximum 7 days, but it should be up to property do decide what period should be editable.
