  1. Use case:
    We want to offer a last-minute rate in our web booking engine to increase and stimulate a last-minute pickup. This rate should ONLY display for dates that fall between a maximum advance period of 7 days.

    Existing restrictions can be set up to affect the arrival date, however cannot limit the departure date. (rate-specific)

    It would be useful to have this option within the restriction options.

    Work-around:
    To achieve the above scenario, is only possible using maximum advance and maximum length restrictions for each night individually. In our case we want to offer a last-minute rate maximum 7…

  2. Posting on behalf of Hazlitt's:

    Whenever we there is an event in the area (like London Pride) or we have some building work done, we send guests emails to warn them about this. We then use one of mews classifications to mark the guests that received the emails, so we know at a glance on timeline who knows and who doesn’t!

  4. The week snap shot is helpful. However, I would like our team to always know where occupancy is sitting for the current month. It would be great to have a coloured doughnut on MEW dashboard visible at all times.

  5. For hotels with the "receivable tracking" not enabled, It would be nice to consider removing the Overdue Label for past issued invoices in the Mews Search Bar. The label does not show anywhere other than the search bar.

    There is no way to act on it, but seeing it leaves the impression that the users must act on it.

  6. Op dit moment kunnen producten in de boekingsmodule alleen toegevoegd worden door de gast, op de wijze waarop het product toegevoegd is in Mews operations. Dat betekent wanneer in Mews operations aangegeven staat dat het product 'eenmalig' geboekt wordt, de gast deze niet vaker dan een keer kan bijboeken in de boekingsmodule. Dat is jammer van de omzet en levert herwerk op: de meeste gasten komen met z'n tweeën en willen het product dan vaker dan een keer toevoegen.

It is not currently possible in Mews to configure the system so that guest profiles automatically reflect any outstanding balance from their associated company profile—for example, by showing an alert or open amount in the guest profile whenever the company has unpaid invoices. There is no built-in, automated sync that shows company-level debts or outstanding balances at the guest profile level in the current version of Mews.

  9. We are a small property, and thus our members have several different jobs. We would like some of our staff to be able to view customer info, or view the timeline, without necessarily having access to "creating or managing" customers and companies. Viewing the information (especially the ability to see the timeline) should be separate from the ability to add or modify anything

  11. When we changed the tab under stay- Responsibility-Notify responsible employee about and removed Commander from that we stopped getting notifications when we get a cancellation from booking. We removed it because we didnt want to get emails after every booking we make in mews, is there some way so we can get the reservations notifications regarding the cancellations or it automatically always affect both ?

  12. For properties that have connected their key software with Mews PMS, add a "read key" button to the departures list to find reservations quicker for check-out. Less typing or scanning through a long list...

    Maybe even add that button above the timeline. That way we could just put the guest's key on the card reader, click the button and instantly know exactly which room/ bed they are in.

Il arrive très souvent que les clients se présentent au check in seuls alors que la réservation était faite pour 2 personnes ou que la répartition du nombre de personnes (adultes, ados, enfants, bébés) ait besoin d'être modifiée. Il y a au moins systématiquement les taxes de séjour en produits réservables additionnels ainsi que des petits-déjeuners packagés (avec des tarifs différents selon l'âge des occupants) si le tarif est BB. On voudrait avoir plus d'options pour notamment pouvoir "conserver l'ancien prix de l'hébergement" et non pas "conserver l'ancien prix" comme actuellement qui est en fait le prix total hébergement +…

  14. Hi Team,

    I’ve noticed that the "Onboarding Knowledge Hub" icon is constantly visible on the screen, and currently, there’s no way to remove or hide it. While I understand its purpose, it tends to interfere with daily work, especially when using Mews on smaller screens or mobile devices.

    On smaller screens, the icon isn’t movable, which means I often have to rotate the entire device just to access parts of the interface. It would be really helpful to have an option to deactivate or hide the icon when it's not needed.

  16. Currently, once we click on the “Rate for additional nights” option, we can only choose our standard (public) rates, even though the initial reservation was created for a company rate. It would be great if that feature were extended.

  17. We have rates with rental services included. As we only have a limited number of stand-up paddles, for example, it would be great to limit this arrangement: “this rate can only be booked 5 times per night”.
    I currently have to regularly check whether the rate has been booked in order to close it manually for these nights.

  19. In the basic rate, the price adjustment for additional occupancy or negative occupancy should be individually adjustable for each room. The invoices become increasingly distorted the greater the price difference between the rooms.
    The children's prices should either be adjustable as a percentage or also be adjustable per room, as the distortions here are also very strong.

  20. It woudl be very helpful if we could visualize the calendar of availability along with the rates published and be able to see the MLOS restrictions and be able to modify these individually with 1 click.
