  1. We really enjoy the ability to cancel products from billing and cancel orders from the guest dashboard, but there currently doesn't exist a way to audit cancelled products/items by cancellation date. We are able to filter by creation date of the product, but that makes it hard to track items created several months ago that may have been cancelled in the last week, for example.

  3. If you're searching for a company but the company doesn't exist in the system, usually there is an option to 'add new company' but this option doesn't exist when searching in the company field of the the guest profile for some reason. This would be super handy and avoid a lot of extra clicks.

  5. We would like to send our guests as little email as possible. Therefore, it would be great to be able to confirm two bookable services in one mail. For example parking and a room reservation. To avoid having to send to many emails.

  6. It makes sense to me to flexibility in AR Management.
    The 30 | 60 | 90 day industry standard seems to suit many hoteliers but is hard coded in most PMSs with AR Modules/functions.

    Some operators in Japan wish to manage and reconcile AR Accounts by calendar month. This is likely to be true elsewhere, given flexibility to do so.

  7. Currently, Mews does not allow sending an automated email before the guest's arrival to request a bank pre-authorization as a guarantee. It is currently possible to realize a pre-authorization but only on the amount of the reservation. So I want to realize a pre-authorization for the booking amount and add the deposit amount, for example 500 euros. Can you add this feature please?

  8. It would be fantastic if you could get the option to replicate stay restrictions on the base rate to all dependent rates.

    I know that there is the possibility of applying restrictions to multiple rates simultaneously.

    Some RMS's (Revenue Management systems) are playing with the idea of allowing you to send stay controls from the RMS. The only challenge is that they usually only allow mapping to one rate (your base rate), and hence any restrictions applied using your RMS will only apply to the base rate and not the dependent rates.

  9. Ideally we would like to be able to reuse rates for promotions, just changing the name and percentage of discount.

    Currently if you change the name of the rate it will change as well in all existing reservations, when ideally this would not be the case.

    If we have the same logic that applies to the price (it does not change in an existing booking even if you change it later) to the rate name then we will be able to reuse rates without need to create a new one every time we launch a promotion.

  10. Remowe/extend the limit of accounting editable history window. Now it is set for maximum 7 days, but it should be up to property do decide what period should be editable.

  11. In order to avoid seeing "None" under nationality in the customer statistics due to missing companion's profile, I would suggest that the system take the owner guest's nationality as default.

  12. When you need to extend a booking, you manually need to move future booking(s) before extending. If the future bookings aren't locked they should just be replaced in the timeline the same way as if you move between spaces.

    The problem happens when hotels are quite fully booked and you need to remove space for reservations and the puzzle it all together again after extending the one reservation in question.

  13. It would be nice to have the option to add the space number into booker confirmation. We drive revenue by allowing customers to pay extra to select their exact space number, and having the ability to show them this on their confirmation and not just pre-arrival would be helpful.

  14. On my team, we have a lot of people that "wear many hats" As an example, we have 6 people on the guest services team. 2 of those 6 are concierge as well and will be the ones assigned to follow up with a guest when they request recommendations.

    Instead of assigning a task generally to the whole Guest Services team and wait for these two specific people to address the task, I would like to be able to assign people multiple roles so that those two people can be Guest Services and Concierge. This is just an example, at…

  15. At the moment, MEWS only has the option of "Overridable prices". It would be great to have a "Discount" option where we can apply certain discounts to items of the choice (in percentages that will reflect to the amount). Connected to this, a report for all discounts given would be a good addition.

  16. Adding a mandatory reason for waiving cancellation fees would help with internal auditing and accountability. We have a lot of cases where staff don't remember why the fees were waived and we are losing out on money. Providing this extra option would give the GMs a a good tool to monitor.

  19. Would it be possible to Also consider creating a capability within the existing Import File to identify "companions" within a reservation and upload such data into Mews? (Besides the Rooming List template).
