Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

Please keep in mind that there is a separate forum for topics specific to the operations of hotel chains and groups. Go to the Multi-property management forum for anything about portfolio management or rate, product, package and restriction functionality across multiple properties.

  2. Adding the arrival and departure date in the booking summary field would give employees a much better overview of larger groups with differences in arrival/departure dates.

  6. When we change something in a big group, the loading takes a long time and after some minutes we will receive a time out error. Then we have to change this per 10 rooms, otherwise it's not working as it should be. Our accounting team has the same problems with creating reports requested by his external auditor. It took them 2 days to get the requested reports, due the time out error they had to reduce the timeframe every time. they started for 1 year, and made the time every time smaller.

  18. The option of setting automatic alerts to pop-up during different stages of reservations, such as during check-in, any time you open the reservation, during check-out. The alert text should be customizable, so a user can enter anything there, but also the possibility of adding standard alerts depending on membership level, profile classifications, specific rates, etc.

  19. Customer work with private owners and manages apartment in their name. They would like to give the access to the owners with the overview of their units, revenue and reservations.

  20. We are trying to set up our group accommodation billing. We would like to be able to send a proforma invoice or invoice, which shows a 25% deposit due to secure the booking.
    At the moment Mews does not offer the possibility to issue an invoice for a percentage of the amount, and i think this would be really useful to develop
