  1. Often employees need just simple information like how much persons are in the house now. For just such a simple qeustions it would be great to email them this information by the report mailing function with a simple mail or better any other messaging system. The excel report is to bulky peoble who just night this simple info stop jusing the excel email report.

  2. When you have a room which cannot be checked out due to an open bill, you cannot transfer it to an open bill to arrange it later. Now when the hotel is fully booked you need to get rid of that reservation as otherwise you cannot do a new check in on that room.

  3. the payment tab does not show the three vertical dots to do a refund.
    invoice has been rebated and of course you are not allowed to do negative payments.
    frankly this is the worst part of mews - rebates and refunds!
    booking.com is waiting to refund guest so URGENT matter to solve

  4. When managing different bookable services, like we are. It would be helpful if you can show the name of the bookable service on the booking engine. As it can get confusing for guests to see the hotel's name on top when booking the apartments they manage under a different name across the street.

    Or, like us, when you manage multiple small properties in a single Mews environment, each with it's own name and address.

    On that note, being able to set a different address per bookable service would be great! In the transition to bookable services, this would be a…

  5. Would it be useful if it was possible to generate a direct booking url for each rate you create.

    This will enable you to link your promotions directly to the Booking Engine.

    It will also allow you to provide your corporate clients with a link directly to their rate, as a supplement to the rate access voucher

  6. If a guest stays several night we would like the PDF to include the quantity and unit price.
    The MEWS invoice only shows the total at line level, then the guest must divide the line sum by qty of night to find the rate/unit price

  7. When creating the reservation report each day, there are always the "internal use" rooms to be put on by hand - and therefore, of course could be forgotten....

    It would be helpful, if these rooms also would be on this report automatically - like they also show up on the list "guests in house" by downloading to excel.

    ...and why they are not shown on the dashboard as arrivals or departures?

  8. We noticed that the rate gets confirmed in the automatic replies to Agoda bookings. This is not correct as it is Agoda who collects payment from the guest and pays us minus commission. So it gives confidential information to the guest, which shouldn't happen.
    We haven't checked the other OTAs if it does it there as well.

  9. we seem to have an issue suddenly when creating a booking where the voucher rates are not displayed when attaching a company. this company has not got a voucher attached and if we leave the company blank, the correct voucher rates will display and are bookable.
    this never happened before, so it looks like something has gone wrong in the last couple of hours.

  11. At this moment, it is not possible to send one confirmation to the guest/company that includes both hotel rooms and meeting rooms as they are two different bookable services.

    It would be great if one confirmation can be send that includes hotel rooms and meeting rooms.

  12. As of now, there is no way to sell co-working desks and meeting rooms for 1-2 hours at a time, but only for half a day or an entire day. We need to have the option to be able to let the guest reserve the time needed in 1 hour slots.

  14. It would be useful to be able to lock the rate of a reservation when making price agreements for a one-time booking, just like you are able to lock the booking to a specific roomnumber. Now, when you or a colleague makes any changes to the reservation, you have the risk of changing the rate.

  15. Where one has rates setup and sold inclusive of the the package e.g. Breakfast, @ R1500.00 single or double inclusive of breakfast. In MEWS rate setup it is required to set a negative occupant adjustment for the value of the breakfast in order to correctly quote the rate for the single room booking @ R1500.00

    Where you have derived rates, one normally sets the rate up against the base rate with its relative % adjustment. e.g. -10%, however as the base rate has the negative occupant adjustment for the breakfast to too is discounted on the single rate published. Therefore…

  16. It would be great to have events shown on timeline to also reflect in the housekeeping app so that housekeeping staff are aware of events so they can set rooms up accordingly.

  17. There should be another template called " Receivable invoice" sent when invoice is issued that invites the recipient to pay via bank transfer.

  18. Other PMS systems I have used have "absorbed" products in the Rate.

    For example you have a rate of £150 , part of this is £10 breakfast.
    Currently in Mews if you change the price of breakfast , you then need to change all your rates separately which is time consuming.
    It also means that if you have 342 rate, the 33% deduction only comes from the accommodation value and does not take into consideration the products.
    If you change the price of a product it would be great if the value of the accommodation would also change automatically .

  19. Within some states in the US, there is a maximum number of square feet (or metre) that an individual can clean during their shift. To help ensure that this limit is not being exceeded, it would help to have the measurements of the room listed within the Housekeeping part of Mews.

  20. Vouchers feature factually being able to be limited to only be used certain nights stayed (discounted events/corporates/groups). Vouchers are currently merely limited to be bought certain days. With this new feature we would avoid risk of subsequent guest Voucher misuse for other nights than the event/campaign period and/or a maze of Restrictions.
