  1. With the notes, it needs to be possible to edit the notes inside of reservations, inside of a group, on a reservation to reservation basis so that multiple reservations can have their notes edited or modified at the same time, while you retain the ability to exclude some reservations which are inside of the group from receiving these notes.

  10. Simplify overview and restriction management: Managing restrictions is very time consuming and hard to keep an overview of, because a single restriction creates many lines per rate, rate group, room type or segment and editing/removing them one by one is inefficient and error prone. It would be great that a single restriction would create a single line on the overview when it is created, and in case it has to be changed or deleted, you can just access that line with the configuration you did when the restriction was created.

  11. We would like some form of temporary OTA isolation / reception‑only mode, where, for example:

    • Changes made by reception (room moves, removing blocks, emergency allocations), do NOT sync to OTAs until the mode is turned off.

    • A short, manual pause (e.g. 5–10 minutes) on OTA updates while operational changes are being made

    The Problem:

    Currently, Mews only allows one type of room block. The 'Out of Order' block.

    When running close to full occupancy, there could be some daily operational issues, unexpected maintenance problems, guest conflicts, or urgent relocations.

  12. In timeline to have space feature in the hovering/mouse over effect at the room number would be time saving.

    We have a lot of different rooms and it would so great to just hover over the room number to see space features. Do we have stairs in that specific room, is it a newly renovated room, room in the garden house etc etc.

    We have a lot of new staff that do not know the specifics for all the rooms and planning for arrivals this would be awesome.

  13. The issue is that we can still remove already posted and fiscally closed Additional Expense items, despite the editable History Window (EHW) being set to a specific time period in the settings.

    Issues that arise:
    -Enables Unintentional or Unauthorized Changes
    -Operational Risk and Data Discrepancies if the modification is not caught on time.

  14. Hello,
    There need to be a Overview function, a function where all reservations shows up in a detailed list which where you can filter directly on the overview either on name A-Ö, ratecodes, floor in the hotel or roomtype just as some examples.

    ex. Click with mouse on name+ enter and all reservations shows in order from letter A, click on a specific rate + enter and all reservations booked with that rate shows in order from the top, click on a name ex. Lisa and all Lisa shows on the screen, (good when you quickly want to see if…

  15. After the recent update, the Reservation page feels more cluttered when displaying restricted rates. Previously, only the text “Restricted” was shown, which made it clear and easy to distinguish these rates.

    Now that both the price and the “Restricted” label are displayed, it’s less clear. We would prefer the previous layout, as it was cleaner and easier to work with.

  16. When the bill is closed with a deposit, it clearly states on the bill that there is a deposit in a separate segment of the bill.
    However, the problem is when the bill gets reissued. The deposit item is no longer in seperate segment.

    As it is now registered as an "additional" expense item, it now gets only put under the top part of the bill under the stay package.

    The clearer way would be to keep it in a separate segment (Similar to how we bring back payments on original bills)

  17. Description
    When adjusting a reservation’s arrival or departure date or time, the existing room lock is currently removed. This creates a risk that the lock is forgotten and the room is unintentionally reassigned, which leads to operational issues for the front desk and reservations teams.

    Feature request
    Please ensure that when arrival or departure dates or times are changed, the existing room lock on the space is retained automatically. This would remove the need for staff to manually remember to reapply the lock and reduce errors in daily operations.

  18. Currently, the cancellation tag in the MEWS booking engine is not flexible enough.

    The logic is fixed on the system side:

    Cancellation on the day of arrival = automatically 2:00 p.m. or defined check-in time.

    Cancellation X days before arrival = automatically 12:00 a.m.

    Individual cancellation times cannot be displayed. Rates such as “cancellable until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival” or “14 days before arrival until 2:00 p.m.” cannot be displayed correctly.

    A manual adjustment of the time per rate in the cancellation tag would be necessary in order to display the cancellation conditions correctly and transparently.

    Can we please implement a log for user management actions?
    Right now, there is no tracking in place to see who created, deleted, or modified a user. Adding this log will help us monitor changes, ensure accountability, and maintain accurate records.
