  4. Adding the arrival and departure date in the booking summary field would give employees a much better overview of larger groups with differences in arrival/departure dates.

  11. Hi,

    especially with groups booking multiple rooms, it happens that:

    in the same room, one or more guests arrive or depart on different dates. Or, for example, in a triple room, one person might leave before the other two, and another might arrive to take their place. We need a way to specify this; it’s also important for per-night-per-guest charges, such as city tax (automatically calculated per night per person), which must be reduced if a guest leaves early. But right now we have to do this manually, and there’s no way to specify different check-in/check-out dates.

  12. We’d like you to review the check-in process for groups.

    • When we send the check-in online e-mail, only the owner receives the e-mail. This is not smooth for large groups. The solution might be to have a link or be able to send the online check-in e-mail to multiple addresses at the same time.

    • When we choose to upload a file, we find these problems:

      • If the customer is Spanish, there is no field to add the second last name or the ID support number
      • There is no field to add addresses

    So there is no valid process to finish…

Mobile amenities that are not part of the standard room equipment (e.g., extra beds, baby cots, diaper bins, children's stools, coffee/tea service, bathrobes) should be able to be managed centrally in Mews. Currently, mobile, limited-availability amenities cannot be centrally represented in Mews. Hotels are forced to work with external lists or manual coordination to track availability and usage. This leads to a lack of transparency regarding availability, double bookings, increased coordination efforts between reception and housekeeping, and potential guest dissatisfaction.   14. Being able to bulk update reservations in the future when a price of a product changed. When a price of a product change we have to cancel the product reservation by reservation and add it again. It's not convenient at all. It would be nice to be able to update lot's of reservations at the same time.

  16. When using the calendar view and adding a restriction, after saving, you are automatically redirected to the list of restrictions, which means leaving the calendar view. Therefore, after each addition, you need to go back to the calendar and reapply the filters to display the desired dates.

    I considered the solution of opening two windows—one to keep the calendar view open and the other to create restrictions. However, this does not solve the problem: when a restriction is created in one window, the other window needs to be refreshed to display it, and this refresh resets the filters and returns…

  17. Dear MEWS Team,

    I would like to share a suggestion regarding the Timeline view, which has a huge yet unexpressed potential.

    While visually clean, it does not leverage one of the most powerful tools for operational efficiency: colour-coding.

    Color can instantly convey information that, otherwise, requires opening each booking or navigating multiple sections. Introducing colour indicators directly on the Timeline could transform it into a true operational dashboard, providing immediate, high-impact insights for the front office and reservations teams.

    Here are some examples of what colour-coding could highlight:
    • Payment Status (e.g., prepaid, pending, partially paid, failed)
    • Booking Source…

  18. We see the need for being able to set accounting categories as inactive. As for today, they must be marked as "do not use" or similar to avoid linking them to products etc. This causes issues for the ERP systems.

    We can't delete these categories entirely because they may be linked to past transactions and need to be kept for auditing and historical purposes.

  19. Seeing a marker on the timeline for reservations that are unpaid, have an open bill, or are carrying a balance would be a huge help for reservation teams. Even just a dot like Cloudbeds has.

  20. Would be very helpful if the dietary restrictions or allergies the guest enters on their profile to also appear on their booking in the timeline and not just under their profile. This will save us a huge amount of time
