Plan weekly housekeeping in MEWS directly
Nice improvement, for us its not fully what we need yet. Remove one (or more) booking(s) from group
Is there a way to move one or more bookings from one group to either a new one or another already excising group?
merge doesn't work as it somehow moves ALL the group bookings even if you only have ticked those that you need to move.
if not possible, could it be made possible please as sometimes you add a booking by mistake and now you need to cancel it and make again. if the guest is already in-house, that is of course not an option!8 votesHello from the Mews product team,

inclusive packaged rates
Where one has rates setup and sold inclusive of the the package e.g. Breakfast, @ R1500.00 single or double inclusive of breakfast. In MEWS rate setup it is required to set a negative occupant adjustment for the value of the breakfast in order to correctly quote the rate for the single room booking @ R1500.00
Where you have derived rates, one normally sets the rate up against the base rate with its relative % adjustment. e.g. -10%, however as the base rate has the negative occupant adjustment for the breakfast to too is discounted on the single rate published. Therefore…

Overbooking
In case there are locked bookings, an overbooking should NOT be possible.
Means I have 2 reservations, both locked. A new reservation could take place, if these locked reservations are swapped.

Stay restricition: change CTA to midnight instead of standard check-in time
At the moment CTA restrictions are applied as of check-in time (ie. 3pm 3 days prior to arrival) for channel bookings. However, mews applies this in the distributor as of midnight (ie. 3 days prior to arrival). We would need all channels and the distributor to have the setting applied at the same time (midnight), to avoid parity issues.

PDF Formatting of Accounting reports
Add row formatting in PDFs generated by MEWS. Shading of the rows would be nice or/and make the lines between the rows visible in the printed version.

Availability report to show correct details
In the availability report, the colomn on the left with the roomtypes, should always show the total number of rooms that you have of this roomtype.
Indepent if a room is OOO or not. Rooms OOO should be treathed as occupied, ie. only affecting the availability per day in the rest of the columns.2 votes -
Adjust occupancy into the Manager Report (Finance)
The Manager Report ran by Accounting category adds up inventory from different spaces. But when we create a Stay space and a Day Use space, it multiplies our inventory, although it's linked to the same exact rooms. Therefore, occupancy is always incorrect. For example, my property has 24 rooms, but because I linked each room to both Stay and Day Use, the report states 48 rooms and occupancy is incorrect. The system should understand that because it's linked to the same rooms, it should not multiply inventory.

Out of service
Change the name of out of service, out of service means can't be used in real terms but in mews means still for sale. Doesn't make any sense and too similar to out of order, both mean the same thing. Out of service should say minimal maintenance

Be able to Push only 1 rate from Channel Manager instead of All rates
When we create a new rate in the Channel Manager, it would be best practice if we could only send that rate to the channel manager and not all the rates that we have in the channel manager as how is today. Of cause, we need to have a "full property push" available, but the option to push just the newly created rate would be the best in a day-to-day basis. Then the data that we send out is going to be much less.

Selecting individual colors for reservations
It would be an awesome feature, if you could individually select the color of a reservation in the timeline - that would make an overview much easier.
For example: Two rooms are booked from the same customer. Therefore you can select a specific color for both reservations. Then you can easily recognise bookings in the timeline, that belong together.
