  2. When we changed the tab under stay- Responsibility-Notify responsible employee about and removed Commander from that we stopped getting notifications when we get a cancellation from booking. We removed it because we didnt want to get emails after every booking we make in mews, is there some way so we can get the reservations notifications regarding the cancellations or it automatically always affect both ?

  3. For properties that have connected their key software with Mews PMS, add a "read key" button to the departures list to find reservations quicker for check-out. Less typing or scanning through a long list...

    Maybe even add that button above the timeline. That way we could just put the guest's key on the card reader, click the button and instantly know exactly which room/ bed they are in.

  4. Hinsichtlich verschiedener Mehrwertsteuersätze sollte es möglich sein, 1 "Oberprodukt" aus mehreren "Unterprodukten" zusammensetzen zu können, da sonst alles einzeln manuell gebucht werden müsste, wenn man keine gesonderte Paketrate dazu erstellt. Beim Online-Check in ist bei einer erneuten Mehrwertsteueränderung keine nachträgliche z.B. Frühstücksbuchung bei Room Only Raten möglich.

  6. Currently, The Space Status Report refers to Stayovers as "Any booking that is staying overnight and has neither arrived that day nor departed that day."

    If the user does not know to include "Arriving/Arrived" filter, they can miss many arrivals that checked in after midnight (especially if their arrival was expected at 3 PM the previous day). This therefore opens up the hotel to possible mistakes.

    It would be nice to simplify the logic to reduce some of the work on the Operations Team. If the unit checked in is staying over - regardless of arrival -they should be listed…

  7. When using the “Reissue as open bill” function, Mews will re-issue the new invoice with the Legal Identifiers of the old bill, without checking whether any of the Legal Identifiers in the customer profile have been updated.

    So if the new bill is reissued because any of the Legal Identifiers in the old one were incorrect, they will be incorrect in the new one (unless manually overridden when reissuing the bill).

    But because the new invoice is issued on a new date, also Legal Ids should be the ones setup on that same new date.

  8. What's the point of offering a breakfast, or a drink or anything else to a guest and not being able to see it on the invoice or the products report ?! Please make anything charged at 0€ visible !!! Thank you

Il arrive très souvent que les clients se présentent au check in seuls alors que la réservation était faite pour 2 personnes ou que la répartition du nombre de personnes (adultes, ados, enfants, bébés) ait besoin d'être modifiée. Il y a au moins systématiquement les taxes de séjour en produits réservables additionnels ainsi que des petits-déjeuners packagés (avec des tarifs différents selon l'âge des occupants) si le tarif est BB. On voudrait avoir plus d'options pour notamment pouvoir "conserver l'ancien prix de l'hébergement" et non pas "conserver l'ancien prix" comme actuellement qui est en fait le prix total hébergement +…

  10. Currently, it is possible to send invoice reminders on demand and manually via the bill/invoice itself or via the City Ledger.

    (1) It would be nice to have repeated (and automated) reminders in different stages of the aging process, and
    (2) also create an easier way to add a surcharge (if needed) on overdue invoices;
    (3) Alert the responsible personnel/Mews User of the reminders not actioned.

Currently if a use attempts to set an early arrival for a booking (especially Availability Block group) the early Check-In time is rejected because the block is missing the necessary adjustments. In other words, the system cannot consider early check-in due to conflict with the occupancy time established in the stay settings.

    However, this is an avenue for additional income and also for personalized service - clients often find themselves without many options when it comes to that.

    On top of the possibility to create "Early C/I products", there should also be a button that could facilitate an earlier check-in…

  12. We like to do the room cleaning every 2 days for stayovers. This works fine with the intervall setting. But when it comes to the check out, it gets a bit confusing when the cleaning staff is using the app. Sometimes rooms are vacant very early and the reception is not informed about it. So the cleaning staff see only the room as checked and not as dirty, cause the room is not checked out. If the housekeeping switch the status to clean before check out, the room will automatically marked as dirty after check out. Helpfully would be if…

  13. We are struggling with late check in after the front desk staff has gone home.

    for example, a person books 21:00 arrives 23:00 but the front desk went home 20:00.

    The guest got assigned to a dirty room and the kiosk lets the person check in.
    Would like MEWS to assign the guest to inspected rooms first. And stop the guest to check in to a dirty room.

  14. Bij het wijzigen van arrangement in een bestaande reservering, worden items die niet in het nieuwe arrangement horen automatisch verwijderd. Momenteel moet dit handmatig gedaan worden.

  15. Currently, once we click on the “Rate for additional nights” option, we can only choose our standard (public) rates, even though the initial reservation was created for a company rate. It would be great if that feature were extended.

  16. Das Anliegen ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber es wäre toll, wenn man irgendwo ein Anfangsdatum anlegen muss, dass das Enddatum automatisch NACH dem Anfangsdatum wäre. Wenn man Restriktionen erstellt, ist es ja auch immer so, dass wenn ich z. B. "von 1.6.25" anklicke, bei "bis" automatisch ein Datum ab dem 1.6.25 wählbar ist.

    Bei vielen anderen Punkten im System ist es nicht so, da steht dann bei "bis"-Daten immer automatisch das heutige Datum, also z. B. wenn ich einen Promocode anlege und bei "für Reservierungen ab dem..." den 1.6.25 anwählen würde, lande ich bei "Reservierungen bis" wieder beim heutigen Datum…

  17. We have rates with rental services included. As we only have a limited number of stand-up paddles, for example, it would be great to limit this arrangement: “this rate can only be booked 5 times per night”.
    I currently have to regularly check whether the rate has been booked in order to close it manually for these nights.

  18. So every night I have to copy the person ID number of every reservation that is checking out that day, to close bills properly during the morning check-out time.

    My point is... Could it exist an automation that once you complete an ID / Passport number, it is copied to the TAX identifier directly?

  20. Currently, it is not possible to move a guest from a higher category to a lower category in the planning view. This restriction is particularly problematic when working with groups for whom the room type is irrelevant. Each time, you have to go to the reservation in question to make the change. This is a waste of time for us.

    This restriction would be implemented to avoid making mistakes. But why not simply display a warning message, but still leave this option open?
