  2. Would it be interesting if it was possible to discount of a rate depending on length of stay ?
    So for example:-
    - Stay 2 or more nights and save 10 %
    - Stay 3 or more nights and save 20 %
    - Stay 5 or more nights and save 25 %
    - Stay 7 or more nights and save 30 %

    This set-up will allow properties to create promotions that are a bit more dynamic

  3. When you book online, you see the rooms that are available at the top of the page and don't see unavailable rooms until you scroll down the page. But when we book over the phone, the room categories stay in their default order and just show that the room cannot be booked. It would make things a lot easier if the categories were sorted by availability first and then by their default sort.

  4. I would like to be able to set my own name for the restrictions that would be visible to the reservations team when they are booking a reservation and want to check on why they are seeing a room as restricted.

  5. We use the restrictions a lot at our property. We need a way to see restrictions in relation to the availability and occupancy. I'd like to see restrictions added to the calendar view of the avail and occ reports.

Beyond the availability of filters, or as incremental filter functionality, users should be enabled to remove data columns from report when the data in the column is irrelevant to the property or the user. My hotel doesn't track data by bed but this information takes up space in a report for columns with zeros. When I deselect filter options, the column still shows in the report with zeros. Like standard Excel spreadsheets, it should be possible to drop/drag columns within the report and remove columns so print attempts don't generate unusable reports.   7. For extra security
    I'd like to only allow some of my team members to sign in while on property
    If there was an option to only allow sign-ons from specific IP addresses, that would solve this for me.
    Open to other options if they exist.

  9. I would like it if Mews could reassign reservations to a different space if it could open up another reservation. I have a couple of niche uses for this at my property but can think of a few ways other properties may use it too.

    My property has 22 rooms with 22 space categories because our guests like to book their favorite room and we want to cater to that. I have a few rooms that would work really well as desk space because they are big and I can lock the bedroom doors to prevent their use if it…

  10. Blocks should appear in the availability and occupancy report when they are confirmed. Not only when the rooms are picked
    It falsifies all reports also the reporting to external Management Systems.

  11. The functionality is already in Mews: it is used by the Hotels for Trees integration. In the Mews app housekeeping can click a button to tell the reception that the room has not been cleaned because the customer asked not to clean the room. The button is an icon of a doorhanger on it. When they click it the room status of this room has the same doorhanger icon next to it. We are using this integration in one of our hotels.   12. Reservation screen has multiple tabs - billing, payments, dashboard, profile. It takes a lot of steps to find all information and it doesn't sit in one place. Simplify getting around the reservation with all the details.

  13. Now when booking in a house use room it is set to one specific room.
    Could it be possible to make a house use room behave as a "regular" reservation in which changing and locking rooms would be possible?

  14. We would like to send offers and confirmations of a block reservation directly from MEWS. For this we need mail templates for blocks and the possibility to click on the mail template option in the block (just like with the individual reservations)

  15. The onboarding manager should stick with the project for 6month to a year and not 5 days after going live. We are a new hotel and did not have reservation prior to going live. now that we are live several questions arise and there is no direct number to contact. I have read the help articles but still do not get a clear answer from them. I have submitted the question through contact us and still have not gotten answers. If there is a number to call direct when it is an urgent need that would be more helpful.

  16. At the moment, when a rebated item is rebated again (a double rebate) it changes accounting category to the predefined accounting category in accounting configuration. It would be good if it kept the accounting category set for rebates of that product/night

  17. Would be good to have possibility to send more personalised mails. For example, we organise a lot of pop up events (BBQ in summer, concerts, ...). People need to subscribe in advance.

    Would be great to be able to send these kind of mails from MEWS.
    What's differente compared to actual MEWS mail templates?
    - content is different every month
    - we should be able to choose ourselves when we do want to send this mail and when not (for example if we organise a BBQ next sunday, it should not be send to any other guests than those staying…

  18. I like that bonus points are added to the accounting ledger. But I would very much like it to be updated so that these come chronologically by date. There will be a lot of scrolling to find the way when something is written there, you have not paid off because it is no longer shown on the guest's bill directly.

  20. It would be interesting to be able to deactivate a product temporarily, without having to delete it permanently.
    By deactivating it, it remains easily available for reactivation, but does not pollute the list of available products or become a potential source of confusion.
