  1. Would it be possible to split check-outs based on when they are leaving?
    If you could possibly create some headlines between the check-outs with grouping of times.

  2. With a receivable tracking feature in use we had a trackable payment line visible at the PM, to follow how many invoices wasn´t paid as well as the amount of each one, all in one page. This week the feature was removed without proper advices and now we did not found a way to have similar info on screen. Instead to become easier it is now worst. We have a case opened asking for help.

  3. Allow the full user edit screen for admins when editing another user like when your editing your own profile / account.

    We add the users to mews and would include 2FA and profile picture so new users have a fully set up account. Right now these options are not available for admins (we have a specific hardware for 2FA and dont want employees to use their private mobile phones for 2FA for security reasons).

    Also it would be great to have an option to specify what users can change by itself similar to the enforce 2FA. Good behaviour would be…

  4. When adding products from Billing - can you please make the top row static, so it doesn't disappear when you scroll down the list of products.
    Ideally you'd want to add all your products and then switch the Tab from the top to make any Additional changes, instead of scrolling back up.
    This will add some great ease of use quickly!

  5. Operations are complaining about the lack of housekeeping statuses, especially check in status. Optimal functionality would be "occupied" but maybe it could be solved by using clean status at check in?

    The reason for this is that by keeping the space inspected, front office forget to check in reservations (ghost rooms) and they lose control over how many inspected spaces are available to sell to walk ins. For housekeeping it is the other way around - when check in makes room dirty they re-visit already cleaned rooms, disturbs guest etc.

  7. Split reservations - optional and confirmed

    at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

  8. Hello,

    When we have a paymaster account and the customer has several bills linked to his account, we change the name of the bill, but they are not placed in alphabetical order, is it possible to do this? and/or have the option to drag and drop the order of them?

    When we choose sort by month, it only changes the order in each bill, it would have been nice to have an alternative where we can sort everything on one customer by month, even if it is in different bills. Just need it for a better overview.

  9. When you go to manage a reservation, then Properties, then change the arrival or departure date, the "Apply Cancellation Fee" box appear, AND it is already checked. This is incredibly stupid. First, the box is completely useless since even if you were to use it to apply a cancellation fee, it doesn't add the tax. Second, why would you have it automatically checked, when more than 90% of the time there is no need to charge a cancellation fee, including 99.9% of time when you're changing the departure date.   10. We are using the automatic export feature to export financial reports. The only choice is CSV, XLS, JSON. We are missing PDF. Our export target is the accountant. For legal reasons, he does not accept anything else than PDF.

  11. Hi Product Team,

    I would like to suggest that it can be possible to have a start date for Tasks made. We've noticed that whenever we make a task, especially for our Housekeeping Department, they get notified right away even though the task is to be done in a week - for example setting in extra beds og additional cleaning. This has made a lot of confusion and extra work in our hotel, as they finish it on the day the task is made, and not when the deadline is.

  13. It would be helpful to receive email notifications if a OTA booking has been modified. We have direct integrations for Booking.com and Expedia but do not receive any sort of modification if a booking is modified.
    We have previously requested this feature via a support ticket but were told this would not be considered but I'm sure other hoteliers would find this helpful - particularly as some upgrades have not been modified via Mews.

  14. We currently find the process in Mews Operations of assigning cleaners to rooms very clunky... and possibly the worst feature of Mews. Here are some suggestions for improving this process:

    1. Show employee name or incorporate a drop down menu for assignee selection. Currently you have to type in a few letters of the employee's name and then it shows only an email address, so you can't be sure it's the right employee unless you are a genius and know everyone's email address. Surely this is a simple one to solve?

  16. It is really difficult to refund the correct payment with the current config. I had a guest book about 5 reservations at the same time and then cancel one. To refund, I just had to guess which payment to refund, guessed wrong and had to move the payment. I would love to see the three dots that you use to refund on the payments tab to also be available on the billing tab.

  17. Mews shows our weeks start on a Monday whenever the timeline is called up. For our purposes, it would be great if this could be changed so that the timeline starts on Sunday. Could you please add this option to the timeline? Many thanks!

  19. Some properties find it too restrictive not to be able to modify guest count once a rebate has been created and balanced in their PMS. Bills/invoices being legal documents are understandable - however if a rebate is created to correct bill details or items, the guest count should be considered as well.

  20. It would be nice to offer our guests an ability to buy a Gift Voucher for our hotels online versus it being a manual process. We previously used Webrezpro, and their system allowed this. Now we have to go back to paper and manual gift certificates.
