  1. Split reservations - optional and confirmed

    at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

  3. Turn off the "New device sign in" emails.
    They do not work and causes about 20-30 tickets to our support each day.
    Some users get these emails several times a day.
    It's a nuisance.

Groups that are currently taking inventory and are contracted but do not have reservations picked up yet, are not being counted as "Sold Rooms" nor is the contracted revenue being accounted for anywhere. The Availability and Occupancy Report shows the group rooms under Confirmed or Optional but ultimately still shows that group inventory under "Free Spaces". Would be useful to see total expected group revenue per group, and for that revenue to be accounted for in the Manager Report.

It would be good that the bills that are in the Company Profile billing showed whether the reservation is 'Past', 'Future' or 'Checked in' so it is easier to issue invoices to big OTA providers like AirBnb, which have many bookings assigned at the same time. Currently you have to open and check every single bill.

    This could show the same way the 'Items: 1' tab does.

  8. It should be possible to change the room category of a reservation from a block without changing the block. It is critical that for example the Front Desk are able to change room type(by changing the room number), or upgrade easily from the reservation without changing the availability block. This used to be possible, so please bring it back.

  9. Being able to change the arrival time and departure time on bookings that are staying on different dates without having to change the actual date.
    With other words, arrival and departure times are independent from the dates.

  10. It would be helpful to receive email notifications if a OTA booking has been modified. We have direct integrations for Booking.com and Expedia but do not receive any sort of modification if a booking is modified.
    We have previously requested this feature via a support ticket but were told this would not be considered but I'm sure other hoteliers would find this helpful - particularly as some upgrades have not been modified via Mews.

  11. I wish to be able to have a locked view setting / ghost view when assigning in the morning. This to to let employees see too soon what floors/section they are on.

    Reasons: It could cause unneccisarry stress, we might need to change and they like to plan before work. As employees can use the app in their private phones, they are able to start processing when they shouldn't. And its a help for them to not work, before work. Even thouh we start assigning 1-2h before actual start for all employees.

  14. Is it possible to create a company classification- as is already existing in the guest classification - so as to show which company profile is linked to a voucher ? It would enable the reservation agent to view which profile to link for the corporate rate code to appear when creating a reservation for a corporate guest. It would also enable to distinct company profiles with a corporate agreement in the company search profile.

  16. We should be able to set what fields are mandatory to complete for reception before checking in a guest - email, nationality, gender eetc. This functionality is available on the kiosk so it doesn't make any sense it isn't the same across the board.

  19. According to STR guidelines, no-show revenue should be included in room revenue when other cancellation revenue not.

    Cancellation fee has different VAT in the Netherlands than no-show (no show is 9% when cancellation fee is 0%).

    9% is hard coded in mews and therefore impossible to separate (using automatic posting)

  20. Enable Hover Functionality for Rate Notes in Reservation Overview

    It would be extremely useful to have the ability to view rate notes in the reservation overview by hovering over the rate name—similar to the functionality that’s already available when creating a reservation. Rate notes often include essential information regarding rate inclusions, restrictions, and conditions that are vital for quick reference.

    Currently, accessing rate notes in the reservation overview requires additional steps, which can disrupt workflow efficiency. Implementing this hover function would make it easier for team members to quickly review important rate details, enhancing both accuracy and response time when…
