  2. For travel purposes, especially because of a mandatory hotel quarantine, government agencies need to see the names of all the guests that will stay with us. The names should be added to the confirmation letter. You can create a new placeholder or add their names to the reservation details placeholder.

  3. Make "PURPOSE" non -configurable in the setup so agents do not have to see it or have the ability to adjust it. Similar to the choice given to market segments

  4. Currently a guest can only search for dates; checkin and checkout. Some guest have a strong preference for a particular apartment type and they want to know on which dates this apartment type is available. Currently this is not possible. Guest can only try a million times by entering dates and hope it is bookable. The solution can be calendar view or at least provide info on which dates there is the first availability. Apartment 'Superior' is available on July 25'th for 4 nights. With a calendar view (see AirBnb example) it is easy to see the free available spots.…

  5. Allow a free text 'notes' section in the emails sent to the guests. This is to have a more personalised communication and add details such as information about the driver if the bookings includes a transfer or to confirm that a specific request/preference from the guest has been recorded (for example: request for a room with a view, acknowledgment of a food allergy, etc.)

  6. My client is booking multiple rooms using the same email and the guest names keep reverting back to old guest names from previous reservations they booked with that email.

  7. In the "Categories" screen there is always a "Maximum persons" info below the room name.
    For beds this always shows "Maximum persons: 1", which is quite confusing for a lot of guests. - It looks like there is only 1 bed left.
    Could you remove this info? Or is it possible to enable/disable this information by ourselves?

  8. The Navigator displays cancelled bookings before active ones and this is confusing also because there is no reservation number showing on this page.

  9. On the check-out report: Guests with NO open account on the current stay and only in future stays should also be on the top line to quick check-out.

  10. A space character at the end of an email address should be simply ignored and not be producing an error message.

    This is just a small thing, but well made form can handle this. :)

  11. Dear support,

    Some of our guests don't trust Mews.li. They search by google or directly on mews.li domain and see our hotelier login page which they clearly don't understand.

    It would be useful if non hotelier mews.li visitor would have more info about Mews and why they should trust mews.li.

    OR 2nd solution:

    Mews sends email from mews.com domain. problem solved :)

  12. I would like to customize the check-out message on the kiosk.
    It now says 'If you need a copy of your bill, please contact us', but we do it automatically whenever we have an email address

  13. In short: we just need to register one person´s data.

    We try to speed up our self-check-in by encouraging online check-in in advance, however most of our guests do not check in online.
    Now, when they come to the hotel and check in through Operator Kiosk, it takes a long time to check-in (for example they struggle to find ö,ä,ü for their names). That time is then multiplied for each person staying, which is not necessary.
    We can cut self-check-in time in half by just not asking the companions´data, like we always do at the reception.
    This could be implemented…

  14. Turn navigator in a complete concierge, where guest can, on top of what's already available:
    - View all details of the reservation: PRICE, info about the space selected, ...
    - manage the reservation (change dates, cancel it, add or remove guests, ...)
    - purchase stay services (already present in the be) in advance

  15. In France, it is now mandatory to give the postal code of the guest when you want to close the bill. So it would be very convenient to make it mandatory when the customer makes the reservation. Or to leave us the choice to add it as a mandatory information or not.

    For MEWS users that has an ID Scanner (like the 365id Scanner, www.365id.com) it should be a much more smooth and faster onboarding of customers if:

    • The ID scanner can be used to fill out the scanned data in the Profiles | Customer form (instead of typing all the data by hand). See figure 1.

    • The ID scanner can be used to fill out the scanned data when a New Reservation is made without having a customer already registered. E.g., make it possible to bring up the Profile page without…

  17. It would make it easier to keep the checked in reservations at the bottom of the operator screen and allow us to select them and add a guest who checks in later than the rest so that they can complete the check in too. Now there is no option to collect their information without undoing the check in, and that is not viable as we then could loose previous guests' info and signatures.

  20. If we are able to customise fields like "category" hotels can call it room, we can call it apartments etc. Just much less confusing than category for the user.
